big fan of when businesses have signs that preemptively thank you for following a rule. "thank you for respecting our staff" "thank you for not smoking in the bus station." etc. its a passive aggressive power move and it works on me every time. i mean i wasn't even PLANNING on direspecting the staff but now i'm extra not gonna. they thanked me already. i've been checkmated.

i love hearing about the declining birth rate like yesss that is a major problem considering our dominant economic model. a problem i plan on contributing to 👍 joining the war on declining birth rates on the side of declining birth rates

This is why I identify as trans!!! I'm a weird tranny!!! Lived 30 years as a tortured weird woman that doesn't just vanish hah
This is the weirdest post I never thought I’ve had to make but I recently saw people on Reddit call each other out for using “she/her” pronouns on my childhood stories so like. Just wanna make it clear that while all trans people have a unique experience with their old pronouns I personally am chill with referring to my past ID as a girl.
I was a weird as fuck little girl before I was a dude. Then I was a weird little punk ass teen girl. I’m also kinda proud of that. It’s fine

I hate googling shit like "why am I still sad and tired when I ate and slept and have been walked and watered" and it's always some shit like "your brain is fried because your parents sucked at handling kids when you were a kid". Like can it be literally anything else sometime, just for the sake of variety.

I'm tempted to start doing a bad-faith reading and getting offended on purpose when someone misunderstands my posts. Like the next time I'm posting some shit like "stop doing this thing that is a dick move. if you do this shit for no good reason, fuck you", and someone inevitably replies with "but what if you're disabled and can't do it any other way and have to do that thing for medical reasons? :(" I'm just gonna go
HOW DARE YOU IMPLY THAT I WOULDN'T CONSIDER MEDICAL REASONS TO BE A 'GOOD REASON'

I don't know if this is a toxic trait but I just have no fucking patience for people who play coy about not letting people help them. Like I don't care if you think it's cute and demure and think people should chase you down and make you do the safe and healthy thing, because I sure fucking won't. Like if people are going out of their way to try to make you keep yourself alive and you start going "nooooo I don't wannaaa you don't want to make meeeeeeh uwu" and cutely wiggling away, then frankly I think you should die.

CPTSD communities online are great. Where else can people tell each other "ok first of all I'm sorry that that happened to you, but yeah no you're right that was fucking hilarious."

A good rule of thumb for AI is "would you trust a trained pigeon to do this?"
"We trained a pigeon to recognise cancerous cell clusters and somehow they're really good at it" okay great, that's something that could plausibly be a thing.
"We trained a pigeon to recognise good CV:s and left it in charge of sorting through all our job applications" uh perhaps consider not doing that.
