Civilian Hospitals and VA Money

I am a wounded war veteran under the care of the Veterans Administration. VA made an arrangement with Broaddus Hospital to send a representative to my personal address to check on me. Broaddus Hospital is having a hard time understanding that the disabled war veteran is not financially responsible for services provided for the Department of Veteran Affairs. This is a clear case of fraud against the Department of Veteran Affairs, and undo harassment towards the veteran, especially since the Department of Veteran Affairs has already paid for services rendered.

It is days like today, when it is a brisk -4*C and snow is hanging on the trees, that I like to get out and hike. I do this not to show off, but to challenge myself and let all of my worries and troubles go. I am never disappointed when I do this and my days and weeks tend to go much better.

With today's tragedy in Pittsburgh, I am already hearing the redorick about stricter gun control. Since the argument is aways the same, the inanimate object, let's look at this problem with some common sense and logic.

Not once has a weapon shot, fired or exploded in of or by itself. There has always been human interaction in order for the said inanimate objects to operate. I know from personal experience, I have been around weapons all of my life; they require human interaction to operate.

Same is true of the automobile and aircrafts.

Every automobile accident or aircraft tragedy resulting in a death required human interaction. Not once have I personally seen an automobile or airplane start on it's own, drive down the road or take off without a driver or pilot then crash into someone or something in an attempt to kill people.

STOP BLAMING INANIMATE OBJECTS FOR THINGS THAT REQUIRE HUMAN INTERACTION TO OPPERATE! YOU ARE LOOKING AND SOUNDING LIKE UN-EDUCATED IDIOTS.

With that said, should we as a civilized nation create stricter laws on sales of inanimate objects or initiate stricter punishments for crimes committed?
