The worst feeling in the world is dreaming about your abusers coming back and being nice to you, apologizing, being affectionate, supportive, but then you wake. You question if really it was all your fault and maybe you were abusive. Where did it all go wrong? Was I too sensitive? Was I too horrible? Is the relationship I’m in doomed? Was I a bad partner? A bad child?
