what tv show character does your muse relate to the most?
[IN-DEPTH HEADCANON QUESTIONS - accepting]
It would be cheap to say Shaggy from Scooby Doo, though he does own his fair share of green t-shirts and enjoys himself a good extra tall stacked sandwich.
But in actuality, one of the TV show characters Jughead related to the most is Lt. Columbo from the show of the same name. His clever wit, persistence for the truth, and love for dogs are all things Jug relates to strongly. He owns entire series in physical form, and has a poster of Columbo in his room.

Jughead put his hands into his jacket pockets, letting out a tense sigh through his lips. It fogged slightly in the night air. "It's... Well, it's going somewhere. Not sure I truly understand it all yet, but I'm putting it together piece by piece." Of course, it happened to be coinciding with the mystery of Riverdale itself, but he wasn't going to ramble. He tucked his loose black curls behind his ear, a habit when feeling the conversation shift too far toward him. "It's a mess, heh."
He lifted his gaze up to the rubble that still remained of the projection booth, coming up in the distance. A painful pang of grief hit his gut, and he let his shoulders sink noticeably. "Man... They still haven't cleared everything out. Wonder if there are still some salvageable posters or reels in there." He knit his brow, turning to look at Joaquin again. "I remember putting on a night of old greaser films for the Snakes, once. I thought having them on might... I dunno, bring dad around more often."
"I wish it was just to look cool but now its a habit." He replied as they walked away from the party. "But hey we all have our vices." Thankfully his wasnt alcohol. No he saw too much what that did to people. "But anyways yeah you should. You're still family to all of us, regardless if you wanna be a serpent or not." Joaquin had always been one of the good ones, even when he found himself helping cover a murder. He still really tried. He took another drag and looked over at Jug with his bright blue eyes. "How are things with the writing going?"

He was glad to be out of the crowded space, and Archie wouldn't have even noticed with his current pursuit of a girlfriend. It would all work out for the night, he supposed. As they walked out and Jughead heard the question, he tensed and looked sidelong at the road. "I've got a place. It's kind of cramped, but it's a bed I can sleep on." The school's janitorial closet wasn't exactly homey, but it was better than nothing. Then came the offer, and Jughead looked at him with a small smile. "Thanks, Joaquin. I might take you up on it." It could help stave off the risk of expulsion for squatting on school grounds, at least.
He eyed the cigarette with a smirk, jutting his chin in its direction. "Those things actually help you relax, or is it just to look cool?"
"You know its no problem. " FP had done so much for Joaquin over the years that it was the least he could do in return. "Yeah lets go. I saw who i needed to." He tossed the empty cup as he headed out the back door, weaving through the crowd. Finally the music stopped and the air hit him in the face once he was out in the backyard. "So where are you staying now if you arent staying there?" He asked Jug as they started walking.
He pulled out a pack of cigarettes and lit one up, the smoke visible by the light of the full moon above them. "You know you can always crash with any of us. Maybe not Sweets, i know how you two are." He cracked a bit of a smile before taking a drag. "But the rest of us, you can."

He was never was one for parties, especially of the house variety. But somehow, through some obligation to his pal Archie, he'd ended up at one. The only thing he found particularly of use to his time was people watching and idly eavesdropping. Carly Cohen was seeing James Rodrigez, and for some reason this was Judy Jensen's problem, because James was going to be her beard for the sadie hopkins. Eye-roll worthy gossip. When Joaquin approached, he was snapped out of his observations. "Oh, Joaquin. Didn't know you'd be here."
"Thanks for keeping an eye on him," Jug said earnestly. He did appreciate the gesture. He tilted his head with a shrug. "I was planning on taking a walk to the old empty movie theater lot. Waltz around memory lane." He liked to keep an eye on the changes that were being made where his old home used to be. "It's the same direction as Dad's place. Walk together?" he proposed.
@jughead--jones gets a starter!
Holding the solo cup in his hand, Joaquin walked up to Jughead. "Enjoying yourself?" He questioned, knowing this party scene wasn't exactly either of their thing. He took a drink and settled beside Jug. "I'm stopping by your dad's after this." It was no secret FP was an alcoholic and Joaquin often spent nights making sure FP got home and was okay. "What are your plans after this?" He asked , making light conversation as his eyes watched the girls dance but he wasn't even remotely interested in them. He took another drink and looked down at the now empty cup in his hand. "Shitty beer anyways."

"Once when I was really little, my family took a trip up to Canada. I got to see the Niagara Falls and all that, but... It felt like we were there for something other than a family vacation. Dad vanished for a couple of nights, but Mom said he ad work to do. Never did find out what that was. I'm not sure I wanna know...."
