Watching friends make things that pop off while i get left behind is really doing a number on me mentally. I try and try but nothing I do ever seems to make it off the ground. I even ask what they did or how they even got to where they are and they only give vague responses. All I can do is whine about things completely out of my control. I feel fucking horrible for my genuine supporters that watch me grovel and huff about this stuff. I have no idea where else to say things like this so I'm leaving this here to be buried.

Hi! I love your 3D models of big guys! I'm starting in Blender myself, and I can build up hard-surface objects decently enough for my 3D printer, but I'd love to make the jump to organic figures so I can make of my characters. Do you have a particular place you would recommend looking to learn? Thanks!

This video is a really good starting place, it walks you through the entire model making process including making concepts and stuff. I'd recommend tackling everything in steps so you don't overwhelm yourself and expect to start over or redo the model at a later date, you learn so much from just 1 pass it justifies redoing it all over again but better imo, I've remade my purple guy like 3 times now tbh and I plan on redoing him again.
