Plumbing Services - Our Experience

After years of using our "new home toilet" , we started noticing defects on our toilet flushing system. It was clear to us that water leaking from the side of the cistern and each time when we tried to flush, the water seem weak and it hardly flushes down the waste. We had to purposely use an addition pail of water to manually pour the water to clear any remaining waste.

Our toilet bowl design was a built into a partition wall which meant that it would not be easy to access the cistern should any fault occur. Having had enough of the manual pouring of water into the toilet bowl, we decide it time to seek professional help from a reliable plumber.

Our first intend was to ask family and friends if they had recommendations of plumbers that could assist us. They shared 1-2 contacts which when called, seem kind of hard to arrange a schedule since we were also working and only available during the night.

We further moved on to using google search which we found a handful of plumbers with good reviews. After much research, we contacted Singapore plumbing 24hrs. They were responsive and arrange a time of our convenience. We were afraid that of getting charge sky high price which to my surprise, they gave us a rough gauge of the amount expected and gave us a few options over the phone which we feel very assured.

On the day of the arranged appointment, Mr tan and his worker came on time. He started looking at the problem and within 5 minutes, came over to discuss our options.We were impressed with how much knowledge Mr tan has as he was able to give us at least 3 options. The cheapest option was to use silicon seal to to cover the leak which can last us about 3 months which was a quick short term fix. We end up choosing the best option which was to completely fix the problem to avoid further nightmare by change the entire cistern.

The process was fast which took about 1 hour to have the new cistern installed and we manage to test the system making sure the system worked and thanked Mr tan and his team.

I must say, i'm very impressed with their work attitude and cannot express our gratitude towards them. I strongly recommend anyone looking for a plumber consult them first. Their prices are relatively competitive but they offer an in-dept knowledge which money cannot be measured.
