May 1st - Spring and Labour Day
Gardarika is a Russian project dedicated to the creation of humanizations of the regions of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Under the inspiration of Hetalia, but in a less humorous and stereotyped way.

While many people in Russia were continuing to go to the demonstrations even after 1990s, Novosibirsk decided that if there is a DEmonstration, then there should be a monstration which is the opposite of the political 1st May demonstration. Slogans of monstration should be extremely absurd and apolitical. And the goal of monstration is to ridicule demonstrations and to have fun. Now, starting from Novosibirsk, the event already takes place every year along with demonstrations in many cities. So let’s hand it to Novosibirsk and his neighbours~
And some explanations:
Tomsk refers to the Siberian Combine, and Omsk to the unit of resistance - Ohm. Omsk is in the costume of Omsk bird. It’s Winged Doom in the Russian language internet, that means crazy.
“Peace, Labour, May” is the main slogan of Labour Day in the Soviet Union.
Kuzbaltai - this is how Altai people named new region which will come from a hypothetical unification of the Kemerovo oblast (in Gardarika it is refers more to the southern part, Novokuznetsk) and the Altai krai.
Many slogans are copied with real slogans of monstrations.
