Sometimes, you just wonder into something magical. Into something so extraordinary, different from everything you know that it changes something deep within you. Making you feel new feelings, think new thoughts, gain a new perspective on life.
That has happened to me here, in a hippie commune in the south of Spain.

In the sunkissed, golden dried mountain scape of Andalusia, a little green valley flourishes. Water. Fresh water straight out of a mountain, earth's source of life. First a spring, forming a little pool and then flowing trough the valley, gifting lush green all around, for humans and plants alike.
Everybody is welcome, put your tent up where you want but respect the space of everyone and everything else around you. No rules, no laws, just people living freely in nature.
It was beautiful, it was free, it was so connected to something profound, old and natural.

But it was also dark and troubled. Who lives in a place like this, so far apart from society? Most often those who flee. Who can not handle society, who sometimes can not handle themselves. Drug problems, violence, bitterness. And sadly, in the end, often again confinement. Seeing the ocean, longing for its touch but no money to take the bus to it must ache in your soul.

Once again I have seen another way of living life. Is it mine? Not for long. But it was beautiful to be my way for a time, to drink water straight out of a mountain, shower beneath a waterfall and sleep below the starry night sky.

Quote
For a while I was looking for a person but I didn't find them and after that I was looking for myself. Now that I've found me I'm back to exploring, which is what I was doing in the first place before I was doing anything else and I think I was supposed to be exploring all along.
