watched Section 31 with my friends last night and yeah it's bad. There's a lot of very bad about it but really it's not worth analysis or even outrage cause it's such a montage-of-stuff-that's-also-in-other-kinda-bad-movies outing with no proposed meaning. but one line wont leave my brain for some reason it's when the leader of the quirky section 31 squad captures Michelle Yeoh who's playing like the former evil empress of the mirror universe but reformed now (this is a whole thing in Discovery but who gives a shit) and he has her tied to chair or whatever cause he wants to recruit her. and she says "i suppose you're going to torture me now" as one does and the squad leader says "you're a tyrant, torture won't work on you". ??????. later in the same scene he says "you're a tyrant, so you only know murder" in a context i forgot. like i guess but they do other stuff too right? i've read The Prince. Idk there's worse problems it's NOT the worst line it just made me wonder if "tyrant" was a species of star trek alien i forgot about that's incapable of diplomacy and immune to pain
