dear Julias,
I received your email last week, and I talked to all people who I know to get what you need. First, it seemed impossible, but now I would say I am about to make it. I would ask for help, and I believe I would get enough.

Zainab Haidary - Unsent letter, 2017
Zainab - our temporary inhabitant of Bismarckstrasse 106 wrote a letter and never send it.
‘’Unsent Letter’’ exhibition opened on the 8th of September. A reading of the letter followed by discussion took place. People were wandering about the language - what it means to use a language other than your mother tongue and how does it affect concepts one is trying to express? Besides, together we questioned the topics proposed in Zainabs letter. New Slavery, Integration vs Assimilation, all that led Zainab to think about basic human behaviour, she proposed a humble conclusion
——-> ‘’Yes, after ages, I don’t know how to behave’’.

Zainab Haidary - Unsent Letter
//zum strukturierten Workflow übergehen//
//
to be a receiver
someone thought of you, had a message for you, was sure that the time of waiting for an answer is worth it.
the time to wait for an answer / the knowledge that someone will read it / to know about the possibility that this letter could get into the wrong hands, could get lost, could be unread
//stepping out into the stream of structured workflow //
hanging the letter onto the wall
Mary Cassatt, an American impressionist painter and printer, was printing a picture of a woman at her writing desk, licking the envelope. You see how she wishes for the arrival, the excitement, arousal and a kind of nostalgia because of the future, while Mary Cassatt is using techniques of a Japanese past.

Luisa Eugeni
spent 20h in the project space of Julias Ida Green on the 3rd of September under rules she presented herself:
‘’Dear Julias,
I will visit you at 12pm.
I will leave you at the same hour, the day after.
I will bring with me 8 pencils, 3 bottles of water and a blanket.
I will not speak with anybody, nobody is allowed to speak to me.
Nobody else is allowed to come into the room till 12pm of the day after.
I can go to the toilet but I can’t leave the room for any other reason.
I will give you everything I have in my mind, during this time.
Luisa’’
Luisa reported a suffering due to self-inflicted rules. She called her grandma on a broken phone, she wanted to be outside, she escaped to buy some bread across the street.
