I luckily haven't had to deal with much chronic pain or hand pain yet, especially with regards to baking (crochet is another story). That said, these look like some pretty solid tips! There's also some in the comments section.

fucked up how cooking and baking from scratch is viewed as a luxury…..like baking a loaf of bread or whatever is seen as something that only people with money/time can do. I’m not sure why capitalism decided to sell us the idea that we can’t make our own damn food bc it’s a special expensive thing that’s exclusive to wealthy retirees but it’s stupid as hell and it makes me angry

nurturing the heart (pt. ii) // (meals that have hugged me, Dec 2020 - Feb 2021) 🤍
1. homemade kimbap, shared with a dearest friend - failures and all.
2.  apple bread baked in a rice cooker, replaced bananas in a banana bread recipe because a work friend has allergies…to bananas…
3. cream udon w/ spice, and of course sunshine poured out from a boiled egg
4. tomato and pepper pappardelle, lots of onions, lots of love (the first meal i cooked after a long break of being lazy and ordering a lot)
5. two extremely lovely scones (earl grey lemon + pineapple honeycomb), soy matcha, honeycomb milk tea. swapped drinks with dearest friend eventually and it was a win win? i hope?
6. mushroom cream tagliatelle with some leftover fries from lunch that day
7. mac n cheese made w/ oat milk, mozzarella + cheddar, tossed with cherry tomatoes and very cut-up broccoli.

When I was little my mom’s meatloaf was my favorite food. But ONLY her meatloaf. I didn’t like anyone else’s, and she told me that she would teach me how to make it when I was older. And when I was like 19? She finally taught me, but she told me never to tell anyone else and I was like weird but okay
Anyway, she was super fucking homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so here’s the recipe
4-6 lbs of Hamburger/turkey burger
1 pk onion soup mix OR ranch mix
1 TBs ketchup
1 Tbs spicy brown mustard,
1 Tbs bbq sauce
1 Tbs steak sauce
1 egg
mix, shape into a loaf in a big pan, and bake at 350 for 2 hrs (maybe 2 and a half if you’re feeling dangerous)
You can get almost all of these ingredients at the dollar store, and have leftovers if it’s just you. The leftovers make great tacos if (taco seasoning is also like a dollar). Enjoy your revenge loaf
