Finished this drawing a couple of weeks ago but I just downloaded Tumblr in my iPad now.

Spare the terrible shading because I just started drawing and I’m still pretty bad at it ahaha. I also haven’t found my art style yet and is still learning about layers, brushes and other digital art stuff. I really enjoy it though. It makes me think I have a healthy distraction from life.

I have been nothing but sad the past year. I quit from a toxic job last year and that does not mean I’m in a much better place now. I got trauma from it and my already low self-esteem has gotten much worse. Pluussss…. This all happened during the pandemic. To cope, I got addicted into video games but it contributed nothing to my life because unlike the successful streamers out there, I did not meet any good friends online and I just play with strangers everyday. Anywayssss…. I got into drawing because I watched 39daph once and she was doing an art stream. She told her story on how did she get into digital art. She said it started when she drew Maplestory characters and begged her Dad to buy her a pen tablet. I don’t really know what I want to say but I maybe is that I just want to enjoy art and improve in my own time :)

I finished my first digital drawing, a fanart of Karashi from Hozuki no Reitetsu.

I really enjoyed the anime because it’s dark comedy which is my favorite genre. It also has a lot of cute, adorable and charismatic characters. Lastly, it’s a chill watch, although I tend to get scared at times because it can get a little gore especially since the subject is hell and toturing humans.

Through my 22 years of life, our family never moved to a new residence. We have always stayed at one home... well ever since I was born.

I have a lot of childhood friends who are still living here in our village.

During our weekends on our elementary days, we were out from the morning till night playing all day long.

Came high school, we had less time for playing... but we made sure we see each other every Friday night and during the weekends.

Then they start meeting other people... going into relationships, meeting new friends and hanging out with these new people in their lives..

I remember the times when I wanted to eat isaw and other barbecues, I’ll just go straight up to our neighbor’s house to ask my friend to come buy and eat with me. I don’t mind paying for the both us since I had stipend back then from my scholarship.

I sure miss those days. Today, I’m craving isaw... but I know when I go straight to iur neighbor’s house.. my friend wouldn’t be there. She’s at work right now, or probably with her special someone..

I sure miss my childhood.

TaiWanTV🇹🇼📺 Day 1:

Our accommodation is nearest to a bus stop. And we figured out buses are cheaper than MRT. So we actually spent our trip riding buses (spoiler alert, I even lost my phone in a bus but that’s a different story.. catch my post about our last day in Taiwan)

From our accommodation, we went to Taipei 101. But we had a quick stop in the famous Eslite.... because our Taipei 101 booking (this is via Klook guys) had a free chicken in J&G chicken in select branches. But unfortunately, we hadn’t claimed it that day. They said that the QR doesn’t work. We figured maybe we gotta claim the Taipei 101 ticket first before we can claim the chicken (and spoiler alert, that actually worked, but this is a different story.. again)

We spent our first day, rather half day, in Taipei 101. We got there at around 4:30 to 5PM. We took so many goddang pictures. I am not the one who like taking selfies or solo pics, but hell I kept asking my friend to take one! 😅

We waited for the night so that we’ll get to see the night view. And of course, before that, the sunset. We spent quite a time in Da Antonio, this posh restau with a view, then we went to the souvenir shop. We spent around 300-500NTD in the shop then we received some coupons for free Magi popcorn and free drink in Da Antonio, so we went back to the restaurant. Turns out they have a rule of minimum spend of 250NTD per person, but we only spent less than 250NTD for the both of us and even sat in the big couch 😅

Ps. Google maps is sooooooo helpful in Taiwan!! We would’nt survive without this, very accurate transpo info 🙃

TMI: crazy story was this was Sept. 22, the selling date of Got7 concert and I just had to get 1!!! So right after we arrived in our accommodation, I bought a ticket online. And I did. Yey, congrats meself! 💚
