          every move was so precious. the precision of speaking in pure body language was a skill the king was fluent in, luckily. he was happy that the wolf-thing was scared of him, but at the same time, it made him nervous. so far it didn’t seem like this was the type of creature to hurt you when they’re scared. that came as a great relief to the king.           he kept his own heart from racing. he forced himself to be completely calm, again, another skill he had mastered for the sake of staying alive in the jungle. to others it was an extraordinary talent to control his own emotions, but to himself it was just how life occurred. not even the bark had an effect on his mild nerves.           in an act of trying to befriend the new being, he gently moved his head towards the ground. at first his chin rested on the mud, and then he placed the entire right side of his face int he dirt. he continued slowly turning his head this way until his whole body from the neck down followed.           he ended up flopping lazily on the jungle floor with his stomach exposed to the sky. without a quick-beating heart he hoped that there weren’t bigger or more threatening animals lurking. he just wanted to make a good connection now so he could get himself and this animal to a good shelter.

          the king’s eyebrow quirked. he had never met such a mad, delusional, weird thing. he could hardly even place where his own feelings were. the only thing he wanted, still wanted, was for the other to get out of his jungle faster than lightning bolts.           “you are talking to animals ?? you are. . . you are talking with knowing english ?? to creatures ??” his confusion was beyond belief.           he already tried to speak to animals in english. with emily greene’s help, too, but not a single being could even say the simple word ‘rock’. how did this insane thing think he was talking to the animals ??

          “aaaaah !! no !!” the boy ran through the house, happily without pants or a diaper on. right past his mom he zoomed off to god knows where.

     ❝  — okay but you do actually have to wear pants out of the house.  ❞

          a panicked, scared voice was so unfitting for a king. he ruler knew that if the new poacher was going to survive a snake attack he would have to be completely calm. if the newcomer panicked, the snake panicked, and if the snake felt anxiety, it would surely strike.           “go away from the snake.” his voice was deep and steady. it calmly traveled through the many leaves and branches of the jungle. “go away, go away, go away.” it was almost like he was trying to cast a spell on the other to move away.           from within the trees where he was hiding, the king too moved back from the snake, trying to move to where he thought the newcomer would go. besides, there was only one path backwards, and poachers didn’t usually like to go in any other direction.

          hey, all !! i know you haven’t seen it but behind the scenes i’ve been making the king’s new blog, hence, i have been online but not on this blog. i’m working as well and as fast as i possibly can so i hope you all bear with me !! i’ll try to be more active but this blog just isn’t my priority right now. i love you all so much and i hope you’re doing well~
