📚 How many layers do you typically use?

for ms paint doodles and pixel art and such only 1 (i post a lot of ms paint doodles so). for normal digital art between 1-10 but usually lower end. my average not-mspaint drawing (which is usually in krita) would be 1 sketch layer if i sketch at all, 1 lineart layer, 1 main colouring layer, 1 background layer and then there may be 1-2 filters / overlays on top. the background and colouring layers might be together on 1 layer ofc just depends on the drawing. but for specific purposes i sometimes have more layers, like animating, or making a dressup doll, etc.

🌗 Is night or day better for drawing?

i relax much more after dark probably due to the home situation growing up (i could finally relax alone when ppl are asleep) so i enjoy in general doing stuff at night, i feel more focused and more at peace. i really like the dark and the cold in general, im one of those ppl who love a rainy or snowy day more than a sunny day. but i like the sunny days too and i really look forward to going out on a warm day to swim in the lake again this summer, and the sunlight has its merits for making non-digital art, easier to see the colours and all that.

idk if any are really easier or harder but i tend to default to this direction i think

i dont feel comfort from drawing anymore (i did when i was a teen) but i guess if anything it would be drawing me and yasmin when shes not here, i doodle us like this sometimes to cope

💐 Do your drawing suit your aesthetics?

not really i think the way i draw is pretty distant from the things i like. sometimes it does fit into what i would see as "my aesthetics" but most of the time the way that i enjoy drawing/creating and the type of art i enjoy looking at are pretty different. its something i kind of struggle with a lot in general identity-wise, in also like, the type of clothes i like vs what i actually wear are different (no money), what i would like my home to look like vs what it looks like is different (no money), and what i can create arent my ideal projects (it takes more energy and resources than i have).

one of the types of art i really like is shoujo manga sparkle eyes stuff with delicate linework but ive tried for my whole life to learn to draw more shoujo and i just cant really get there. my brain just doesnt work like that, im more to the point, and struggle to add extra details that my brain doesnt feel is necessary (hence i do stuff like skip drawing eyebrows and noses and mouths and yeah just skip everything bc its unnecessary information. i dont even like minimalism my brain is just like this) i also like collages and mixed media stuff for example which is also hard for me bc it seems too random/purposeless for my brain (im saying this as someone who loves looking at it, my brain just cant really grasp creating it). my brain just wants to take the pen and draw the most "core" (as in the deepest core of something) thing and shaving off everything thats not necessary to express my feeling / thought / idea. im really bad at drawing "random" things, not bc its hard to draw technically but bc my brain doesnt like that it feels purposeless. yay personality psychology

Plasticizer leakage is the process by which plasticizers (chemical additives that make plastic soft) migrate to the surface of a figure and evaporate. Plasticizer leakage is characterized by a sticky coating on the surface of the figure.

Plasticizer migration and evaporation is inevitable. All soft plastic toys, which are softened with plasticizers, will harden over time.

Keep leaky plastic figures away from other items, as leaking plasticizers can stain and discolor items they come into contact with. Leaked plasticizer can damage fabric to an unsalvageable degree.

Soft plastic figures should not be stored in boxes, as this hinders plasticizer evaporation and can discolor the figure. For proper plasticizer evaporation to occur, soft plastic figures should be stored in a well-ventilated area.

If plasticizer does not evaporate properly, it will form a sticky film on the figure's surface, to which dust and hair will cling. This can be cleaned off with water and soap. The figure will have to be cleaned regularly until all the plasticizer has evaporated, after which the figure will have hardened completely. If the plasticizer doesn't come off with a gentle scrub, soak the figure in diluted dish soap for a few hours, then gently scrub it again. Avoid using strongly scented soap, as the scent will cling to the figure.

Plasticizer will evaporate faster if figures are stored in sunlight. This is not recommended, as it may discolor or damage the figure. It seems that heat, in addition to ventilation, is a problem, as plasticizer leakage is more common/pronounced in hot and humid climates.
