I already knew this bc of strong but hes honed in on it more. Zane has a great instinct when it comes to how to wind up a submission hold and what angle to hold his body at to make it look impactful. A problem w a lot of midclass tekkers that ive seen is their matches are only good if their opponent is flexible and a good seller (guys with good high bridges make the best opponents for tekkers imo bc they can take leg locks/crabs at a nice angle, while inflexible guys it just looks like mediocre partner yoga), and the intensity he uses subverts the need for that.

Fewer thoughts on matsumoto so far, tho the fact hes as strong as he is in the larval stage tells me he could shape up into a real powerhouse. Good at taking holds, too, which is important at this stage.

For those of you that dont follow wrestlers personal lives (smart, most of the time) and were pleased by Brody's shirt, just know him condemning ICE is just about the most in character thing ever.

His other gig is a metal band with songs with messages like "the only moral approach to racists is to kill them with a gun," "nazi bitches leave California now before I beat you to death with my fists," and "Christofascists are a cancer and will burn in agony should the apocalypse come." That last one's title is the name of the band he wears merch for on tv, btw. If you were worried AEW might not have known his politics and thus might retaliate to him expressing them on tv.
