As pride month approaches, it's important to remind literally everyone that veterans and the military do have their own months :)

National Veterans month (November) was first recognized in 2018 and Military appreciation month (May) was first recognized in 1999.

Stop using the "lack of" veterans appreciation as an excuse to discount pride. If you actually cared about veterans and our military you would recognize these months but you don't. You don't reconginze these months because you don't actually care about veterans. You just crave an excuse to target LGBTQ+ folk.

The first pride parade was a riot. We earned our month.

Stop using veterans as a means to support your backwards opinions.

I keep seeing this recently and I… Let me just clear it up.

Asexuality is not some radfem belief that sex is evil or you’re a bad/dirty person for liking sex.

Asexuality is not experiencing sexual attraction. Plain and simple.

If you like sex: Good for you. I’m happy you’re enjoying your life.

If you don’t like sex: That’s okay! I’m happy you know what you don’t enjoy and can therefore avoid it in order to enjoy your life.

Sex itself isn’t a bad thing. Some people just don’t like it or have no interest in it and that’s okay. Just like it’s okay if you do like or have an interest in sex.
