He calms her down and soothes her with plants or reading stuff, knowing how much weigh is on her.

I like to think sometimes he lets her put a bandage on his finger if he pricks himself, or he calmly aids her if she got a bruise on her knee.

I WANT MORE OF THIS DYNAMIC.

Random Mr Creeper and Becky hc because I hate drawing rn

So after watching Mitchell Junior, I began to wonder how Becky could properly care for her plant son since anything she does care for seems to break and crumble in her hands- and I've come to two solutions

One, Mr. Creeper is big and mature enough to care for himself, meaning Becky doesn't have to take care of him on most things, which in turn means no potential accidents

Or two, Becky does screw up and accidentally "breaks" bits and parts of mr. Creeper on occasion (i.e accidentally cutting an ear off when trimming his leaf hair-) but because Mr. Creeper is a plant, he doesn't feel the pain of having a limb cut off and can regenerate it easily after like, a day or two of resting (like how some plants regrow after having their stems cut off)

So I'm just imagining Becky spiraling after accidentally hurting Mr. Creeper and he's just frantically trying to reassure he's fine- "Mum- MUM IT'LL GROW BACK-"

Am I the only one who rewatches the episode and, like, see parallels between Caine and Ragatha? Am I crazy or is there something up?

Yeah, the way Ragatha says "Not Anymore" is the same energy as a person ignoring another's trauma over losing someone.

He LOST someone, and Ragatha answered it with such distain as if she assumed he wouldn't care about what happened.

When Jax faced her with a glare, Ragatha responded with a poor apology, ignoring him completely and excusing herself from the situation. She avoided her own mistake, the one she made on her own!

In that scene, Jax didn't mistreat her. He didn't insult her. He didn't berate her the moment she walked in.

Ragatha said it on her own. She just walked into the conversation and answered the question without given thought.

It's the opposite on how Pomni responded.

She didn't judge Jax; She only corrects him if he mistreats her.

She didn't push his behavior, but she made reasonable counters against some of his points.

She didn't ignore his sarcasm; she even agrees that they looked weird.

And she's the only person who said no when the others put a vote on him to wear a maid outfit.

It's her natural conversation and sympathy that allows Jax to lower his guard down. It gives him the signal that in the entire group, Pomni is the most tolerable to interact with in this crazy circus.

I don't hate Ragatha too, but her responses and attitude is what made Jax spite her even more in the episode. Meanwhile, Pomni came off closer because she treated it naturally. She didn't need to force or dismiss his character.

She talked and listened.

DISCLAIMER: I don't hate Ragatha, but I didn't like her behaviour this episode. I want her to have a character arc where she learns and grows, these are my feelings and this is my perspective as someone who understands Jax on a deep level. Please be respectful of that in your replies, thank you.

Okay, first of all, I wanted to point out the way Jax's facial expression transforms in this scene:

People who don't fully understand Jax's character often overlook the fact that Jax doesn't say things out loud, you have to look at his expressions if you ever want to understand his true intentions. And Jax is such an expressive character, you can really derive a lot from just the way his face looks at any given moment.

And here...

He looks so...sad.

Like, I have never seen Jax look so genuinely hurt this whole series. He wanted to say something to answer Pomni's comment, but I have a feeling that he didn't want to do that in Ragatha's presence because he knew she was going to argue with him about it.

After Pomni asked him if he had any actual friends, his expression dropped, from annoyance to just...sorrow. 

...because that's probably the first time in a while someone has asked him that question. It's like when you're on the verge of tears and someone asks you if you're okay.

And I have a feeling he was going to answer "No" or "Not really..." before Ragatha interrupted him. That's when his eyes widen and he gets mad.

Jax's silence here speaks volumes. He says nothing, but his face and body language shows every bit of anger he's feeling at that very moment.

Jax doesn't want to defend himself for a reason.

I honestly feel like Jax is not only mad at Ragatha here for mentioning something so traumatic, but also because she answered HIS question FOR him. And quite rudely.

Ragatha took a moment he was trying to be vulnerable in and ruined it completely. Nothing she could say in that moment could fix that, and Jax knows if he tried to defend himself she'd just start getting defensive, like in the beginning of episode 4.

That moment he had the energy to actually fight back, but he says something incredibly important; "Why do you always make me out to be the bad guy? I'm not really a bad guy!"

Jax is aware he's a jerk, but he's tired of Ragatha making it so that's all he is. Because Jax sees it as banter and fun, but at some point it gets malicious because in his mind, if Ragatha wants him to be a villain? Then fine, he'll be one. No point in trying to be vulnerable and nice when she'll never care anyway.

Ragatha proved him right here, that's why he says nothing.

And when Pomni asks, he doesn't see the point in trying to explain deeply. He just says "It's... Nothing. Who cares."

Because in his mind, yeah, who cares. Whatever he says, he won't be listened to. Might as well keep being an asshole, right?

He attempts to vent, then ends it with an "...I don't know." before going back to acting snarky and sarcastic because the emotions were getting too overwhelming for him to handle.

When you consider all of this, Jax's dislike of Ragatha becomes more understandable.

Jax feels like Ragatha is trying to sabotage any chance he can get to have another friend, and I honestly deeply understand now why he's always so frustrated and mad at her. I would be so much angrier, he's being so forgiving here by not immediately lashing out and yelling at her.

And if he did, I would completely understand why.

Personally, I feel so bad for him. His reactions here hurt so much because they're so deeply relatable.

He was trying to open up, be vulnerable to someone new that he wants to make friends with. Only to be rudely reminded why he never does that, or why he's never even allowed to do that. That's deeply relatable as someone with trust issues, trying to make a friend in someone only for the person who's been preventing you from doing that to remind you why you're "not allowed" to have any.

Jax and Ragatha's relationship is beginning to ring as "abusive mother and son" to me, with the way she acts like she has no choice but to try and control Jax's behaviour. It's weird, and toxic.

Ragatha is becoming her mother even with how much she dislikes her, and I understand that deeply as someone who also has an abusive mother. But she needs to understand that even if Jax is annoying, it is NOT her decision who he gets to make friends with, it's NOT her responsibility to manage his behaviour.

And it's NOT her responsibility to decide whether he gets to be friends with Pomni or not. Pomni can think for herself, she can make her own decisions.

The fact she's taking this parental role on is detrimental to both her and her relationships. Not to mention Gangle must feel incredibly infantilized whenever Ragatha steps in to defend her, I wish Gangle would say something though because it's likely Ragatha doesn't know this and thinks she's doing her a favour.

I honestly hope Ragatha realizes this in episode 6 or 7, I don't want her to abstract before she gets to have this character arc. She's been through a lot but her behaviour isn't helping her situation, and she can still grow and change, but I don't think she deserves Jax's forgiveness tbh any more than he deserves hers.

...Maybe Kinger's unbiased and encouraging attitude can help more than Pomni's. I mean, he was the only one who could lift her mood after she looked so sad:

Kinger and Ragatha becoming like Zooble and Gangle is honestly what I'm hoping for because I see a LOT of potential in these two <3

Awww thanks! The World Tour was my favorite to make and it lead me to the road of where am I today! Making ideas or sequels for games and animated shows!

To be honest, I'm surprised the actual sequel is actually taking place at a road trip / Tour. And I'm so excited to see who the bosses are in this one!

I do hope Mystery Man's in this too cuz BOY DO I NEED HIS EXISTENCE

My hope for the game is that it has the band try to reach the internationals, but someone doesn't want them on top. Maybe they might recruit or befriend the new bosses if they defeat them?

There's also scenes of road chases, subways, and Lots of HUMAN enemies. I remember NSR 1 has ROBOTIC ENEMIES instead of humans unlike most of the NSR bosses.

Your art is super cute, but I just wanted to let you know that the name "Kiko Fumiko" sounds very strange. Both Kiko and Fumiko are given names, so it sounds a bit like she's named "Tiffany Brittney," as an english equivalent. You may want to do more research into Japanese surnames to find one that would suit her and pick which given name you'd like for her to keep. Giving a character a strange name isn't the end of the world either, but assuming you're not of Japanese descent yourself (disregard this ask if I'm wrong in that assumption), it comes off as slightly ignorant. If it was done on purpose, that would be one thing, but otherwise, it seems a tad disrespectful. It's not to say Japanese people have never had strange names, so leaving the name isn't entirely off the table, but you have to consider your intent. If you don't want the name to sound a bit like a joke, it should probably be changed.

I apologize! Kiko Fumiko has been a name I came up with a long time ago, and I wasn't well-versed in researching back then! It is a cute name personally, but I see it comes off as wrong and disrespectful!

I'll change it to just Kiko for now, and I deeply apologize for my ignorance!

Here we have the third boss battle and I believe this one is Hippie-esque Genre considering the colors. Our main boss (The Third Boss in the teaser) is a girl in daisy wings - alongside her are praying mantis monsters. We also see cannons on the side so we might use them to attack her!

Also to note:

We are getting TWO new playable characters - One revealed themselves to be a keyboard player based on the silhouette here! The fourth member - Not so much! Either they're gonna be a bass player or a singer!

We haven't got the aftermath of Vinyl City nor the Old NSR Bosses and others! And since it's been 3 years, that means all of them might have new glow ups. Yinu specifically because she'll be from a child to maybe an adolescent! (9 to 12!)

We don't know what happened to Kliff so I assume he was being punished for his attempt at destroying Vinyl City with a falling Satellite for petty reasons.

Hopefully we get sneak peeks of the bosses too! So far we have clear visions of two! There's also a third but it's during a battle scene, I didn't get a good pic!

The Mystery Mural Man has been a secretive character in the NSR universe. The only confirmation of his existence is the Mural in Tatiana's tower. Nothing else.... AND THE CREW LIKES TO TEASE US WITH ROCKTOBER NON CANON STUFF SO PLEASE I NEED TO KNOW IF HE'S REAL

NSR 1 has a past focused on Zuke but not Mayday! We know Zuke's history with Eve and DK West, but Mayday's always an interesting girl to me! She's different from everyone else (Flowery eyes) and there's not much about her other than her love for Rock, Kul Fyra, a vague family history, and how she and Zuke formed B2J! I do hope the sequel touched this since they teased her glow up!
