One day, western leftists will need to come to terms with the fact that Arab and Islamic colonization very much did and still does exist and that the negative impacts are still felt by ethnic groups that have been and still are violently colonized and brutalized by that colonial power.

GOOD NEWS GYNS
A potential cause for endometriosis has been found, called fusobacterium
In the study, mice with the bacteria were able to be treated successfully with an antibiotic and it massively lowered quantity and severity of endometrial lesions
The bacteria was found in most women w endo that were tested, compared to 10% of women without endo.
FINALLY, good news in women’s healthcare!
Hopefully only a few years out from an actual treatment for endometriosis!
Link to the study:

“In a video that titled “Smoke” created by Tom Smith was about a same-sex Lesbian couple where one of the women in the relationship was being abused by her partner.”
In a video that titled “Smoke” created by Tom Smith was about a same-sex Lesbian couple where one of the women in the relationship was being abused by her partner. Both women in the relationship were what societal standards would deem as “Feminine” not falling into the heteronormative stereotypes that depict domestic violence occurs from only men or those that assume a “masculine” role in a relationship when in reality this is not something that is always true. This video portrays the type of domestic abuse that is more common but society thinks that is actually less common. You have one person (the abuser) who financially supports the victim and dictates what she is allowed to do and the dynamics to their relationship. The victim is also dependent on the abuser to fulfill her attention needs.
Domestic abuse is common in some relationships because the abuser or the victim have been a part of that lifestyle since they were kids and it is seen as something that is normal. In this video the abuser is also shown to have a drinking problem causing her aggression towards her partner to become extremely violent. There is shouting, grabbing, hitting, and degradation. The aggressive partner demands things from her partner and puts her down to feel as though what is happening is her fault and that the reason she is at fault and the abuse is justified. Once Molly opens up about her abuse to her brother she fears leaving her partner and that because she loves her she cannot leave her. These are common characteristics that come about in relationships experiencing domestic violence. Ashley blames her aggression on her parents and her drinking and in turn you can see that she is the one in the relationship that is the most dependent between the two, and this dependency turn into fear of losing control in the relationship. Ashley says to Charlie “I can change, you can’t take Molly away from me” seeing as Molly is property being taken away from her and this results in her  begging and pleading with both Charlie and Molly that she will change out of fear of losing her. (Smoke)

reminder that lgbt people aren’t perfect magical creatures, but could actually hurt you just as much as anyone
reminder that lesbians can be abusive
reminder that there’s no such thing as a “lesbian utopia”
reminder that if you’ve been hurt by someone in the community who you should’ve been able to trust, i love you

"It was Hamas that started this war, yet much of the world has forgotten this. They've been fooled by Hamas propaganda into imagining that Israel is the aggressor. Having seen this war up close, I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty that the war would be over tomorrow, not just if Hamas returned the Jewish hostages, but if the Palestinians in Gaza brought up their children not to hate but to love, not to aspire to a cult of death, but to join Israel in a belief of life, not to believe in destroying a state but to put their energies into building one."

not sorry i’m going to listen to israelis over any diaspora jew when it comes to i/p when they’re the ones getting rockets thrown at them and are trying to rehabilitate from a literal pogrom.
i can’t comprehend that anyone would think that their opinion on the matter is more important or more correct than israelis lived experience. all they accomplish is fueling the ongoing fire that is demonizing israel. and i’m not referring to listening to israeli organizations.
i’m saying id rather speak to a literal israeli person who is affected by the war, which might i remind everyone is beyond gaza.
everyone seems to forget displaced israelis, many of which have lost everything. i’m going to listen to them. i’m going to listen to the israeli archeologist and the israeli defense expert. hell, i’ll listen to the israeli high schooler over a random diaspora jew adult. i’d much rather learn about how they’re doing from them.
idk i’ve been seeing too many diaspora acting like this war has a material affect on us. (and when i say material i mean im not israeli so the antisemitism i face in new york is very different from the antisemitism israelis face (which is terrorist groups attacking them).
ok i’ll shut up now byeee
