Generally, people have been primed to look out for traitors by... well, all official Project Moon media at this point. Lobotomy Corporation ends with Angela betraying the Seed of Light plan, Library of Ruina ends with Roland betraying Angela, Distortion Detective has Han Hee-joon sell out Moses back to Dias, and Leviathan has one of Vergilius' subordinates sell out his entire office to the Ring. In the playbook of ideas that Project Moon pulls from, a betrayal is one of their most consistent themes.
For specific evidence from Limbus Company itself, the post-credits scene of Canto II shows that Hermann did want Sonya to recruit Rodya, indicating a potential plan to get a Sinner to break away and join her camp.
As for who the traitor will be...
Prior to the release of the game, the little amount of information we had on the Sinners came from their introductory cards on the website. While we now know that they're largely irrelevant or somewhat misleading in terms of the characterization shown, Outis' introduction mentioning that you should beware and keep Outis from using her keen mind and skill at plotting for anything other than the company's objectives heavily implies that there's a reason to be wary of her. On the other hand, her obsequious attitude when it's exceedingly obvious that she's just being a bootlicker and hates everyone there makes her look like a rather obvious red herring.
As for the other options... Gregor and Rodya are the two Sinners who we have confronted their pasts already, but who haven't had the help to move past them. For Gregor, he notes himself that throughout his whole life, his mother has controlled him, and while he does clearly hate her, the fact that he remains somewhat of an outcast even among the Sinners may push him to betray them. By contrast, Rodya was essentially given an open invitation to return to the Yurodiviye by Sonya, and TKT shows that she's definitely been thinking over whether or not she should have joined him during Canto II.
Finally, Faust; given how Limbus Company follows two games focusing on the Sephirot and Angela, her appearance and role as the closest thing Dante has to an "assistant" should immediately bring to mind Angela - aka, one of the previous traitors. The Sinners also have an obvious WhiteNight theme, adding two more points to her being a potential traitor; the last apostle to be healed by WhiteNight is guaranteed to become the traitor, and Faust's canto is the last in the order, and WhiteNight's flavor text specifically mentions that "one of you is a devil", and guess which Sinner's story heavily revolves around a connection to a devil?
In my opinion... we'll probably have a betrayal of some kind, but it'll be similar to Don being restricted during Canto VII Part 3; the traitor won't help us, and will probably fight us at some point, but we'll be able to turn them back to our side pretty quickly. Story and emotional ramifications will probably be a lot bigger, but that's to be expected.
Okay i gotta ask. I saw Multiple mentions of like limbus "traitor theory" stuff. What are we talking about gang?
Why is there a theory someone will betray us At All? "Gregor betrayal" "Outis betrayal" what. Help. I want to understand im not making fun of this im Confused. Maybe its an old one and im just now finding the ancient ruins but idk
Gregor joining his MOTHER after the shit we learned she put him through? I guess the bus team isnt the Best to him but I cant belive they would be so bad he would go back to HER.
And Outis... hm. She is strange. I like her since her weird behaviour is endearing to me albeit awkward usually, but I dont see why or how she would be a traitor.
That said I am not caught up with the story. I dont mind spoilers at all, I am almost done with canto 7 so I am not Too behind but I did skim over some of the side stories between canto 4 and now that I am now going back to read on full.
(So pls pls somone come to my reblogs/dms and explain in as much detail as youd like cuz the theory sounds interesting but i dont understand where it comes from and i wanna really badly)

The real reason why you need to be social is the best chinese place within 10 miles is an unknown hole in the wall with a yearly marketing budget of $15 dollars and you will never, ever find it unless someone tells you about it.

Every time Brennan has DMed something for Critical Role, it has never failed to wrench some of the most intense emotions I've ever felt out of me. This is not to say that Critical Role itself hasn't, but with the few episodes he's given and to get me that worked up and practically in tears?
What am I going to do with a full, honest-to-God, 100+ episode campaign? Will I have enough tissues? Enough water? Enough strength? Will I make it through?
Or will he turn my heart into a near-unrecognizable pile of fleshy, pulpy mush?

Mario Kart is such a funny game because the community has a name for one of the most excruciatingly painful and infuriating experiences you can experience in video games, and the name is just the name of the game they are playing.
