The house was spotless when I got up this morning. Spot👏🏼less👏🏼 Within the 2 minutes I went to use the bathroom this happened. I thought a tornado came through the house. Or a burglar came in lookin for stuff to take making a mess in the process. But no. No no. It was my just two year old. This morning, all before 10:00 he threw Cheerios everywhere, threw toys around, drew with crayon on the walls, took the trash out of the bin and threw it, played in the sink, was in time out more times than I could count, screamed like a banshee when I told him no and threw himself on the floor. Matthew was zero help, he was running around yelling, jumping out and scaring CJ, and jumping on his bed. This is the side of parenting that makes you want to rip your hair out and send them off to boarding school! But then it comes to nap time and now CJ is all cuddly on my lap giving me kisses and the mornings tantrums are forgotten. Parenting isn’t all sunshine and rainbows but without some storms we wouldn’t be able to appreciate the sunny days or those rainbows. ❤️⛈🌈☀️

In regards to the expensive nature of saffron…

what if I told you…that saffron…is actually not that hard to grow at home for your own use. 

Oh look a place you can buy the bulbs. 

If you live in a climate colder than zone 6…as I do…plant them in containers and move the containers into a basement or garage during the winter. 

They bloom in fall, and are quite lovely. And also you get saffron.
