Hello hello!

Nothing especially important to note about these few weeks. Just that maybe 2nd anniversary coming up sooooo can’t wait to give him the thing I’ve been making. Actually wanted to keep it a secret but yknow me, I can’t keep a secret. I’ve mentioned it to him already but dk he remember or not. Well if he reads this he will remember. 

School has started so there’s been new stress and new workload. Coupled with this drama I’ve been chasing, new responsibilities at work, the need to exercise once a week, its been all over the place. I barely have any time left for myself.

Oh, he went to did a proper check up on his back, hips and legs which has been bothering him for very long. Turns out he did have a condition which causes an inflammation in the bone area which is why he is always in pain after he lies down for some period of time. Apparently it is a chronic thing which has no cure so only can find ways to limit and control its effects. 

He’s been slightly worried because everything is still an unknown. Don’t know if it will bother him worse in the future. But I’ll be there for you! (If you’re reading this) so don’t worry! Anything we will face it together!!

Yesterday we went to his dad’s company dinner. People were like smoking and drinking all in that enclosed room with the air conditioning on and I went home smelling of cigarette. The food was quite nice luh, nothing to shout about but definitely not food I can eat in a normal day so yea, its a plus point. I don’t know if my presence made any difference to him. Hopefully it made him less bored. It was interesting to see all these adults drinking and just going all out with the noise and booze luh. Definitely another thing that I don’t get to see usually. 

The previous weekend I went to SJ’s concert. Then the weekend before I went to KL with my friends so I ended up missing him a lot a lot. Actually these days I’m back in the overly attached mode again. Even when I’m doing my work or what I just wish like, he’s beside me and being with me or something. Wherever and whenever. Sometimes when really feel like everything is pushing me down I will think about him and feel a bit more motivated. Dk healthy or not healthy, being in love until like this. 

Last night he said he love me more leh.

I also love you more.

HAPPY 2018!!!

i’ve crossed yet another year on this blog. i remember when i first crossed the year, this blog was started to record down the happy things that has happened to me so that i remember to be thankful and positive even in shitty times. as time pass, it sort of became like a relationship blog LOL, just detailing the bits and pieces of our relationship which has become quite a major part of my life. 

thankfully, school doesn’t start till 22 january. although i am busy enough with my work stuff. its tiring but im still floating, still surviving. i started this year with such a bang. finally i went to my very first countdown outdoors at marina area where i can see the fireworks up close. usually i just stay at home cause its crowded and inconvenient and usually no one to go with lol. this year is the first time we counted down together. it was rainy that day tho and i don’t mean a slight drizzle that kind of rainy but a full on downpour that kind. so good thing we bought the picnic pack from klook and he downloaded the app so we had two ponchos. i can still remember the feeling when he helped me put on the poncho first. like i wish someone took a picture of that moment so i can remember it forever and see it from a third person pov LOL

so we were just sitting around, waiting for 12am in the rain. it was quite fun. we talked and played games on our phones and it was quite an interesting experience. sitting in the rain and feeling it pattering over us but not getting like really drenched. but towards the end i felt like im so thankful i am with him. can’t imagine if i am with anyone else. he knew what to do, where to go and what to expect and he was so accomodating when i wanted to like take pictures or snap the moment for the ‘gram. lol. and his phone was waterproof so like he let me use it in the rain to take pictures and stuff. when the whole thing was over the floor was like semi flooded and our shoes are just wet through.

we counted down tgt and kissed hehehe 

so when finally its time to go back it was really crowded right. but he held on to me and made sure i was safe and next to him all the while back. when in the car we just removed our shoes and like it was nice to be away from the rain with him. like its just a good feeling overall. and a wonderful start to the year. 

i remembered the warm shower i took after i came back home. it was awesome. 

since then we haven’t met till friday for a short dinner. and gosh work has been hard and tiring and it was so good to meet him on friday. but i feel bad cause his hips and legs has been bothering him and i wish there is something i can do about it. 

he drove me to the school to collect my textbook yesterday and we went to eat noodle story at amoy street food centre there. two different locations but he went out of the way just so that i don’t have to lug my heavy books home by myself. so sweet right. he’s actually pretty sweet to me since 2018. it feels really good and comforting to know that he’s got my back and i don’t have to be like careful and cautious around him.

soon it’ll be our second anniversary already. actually even though we promised not to get something i’m thinking if i can make something. hmmmmm. ideas ideas ideas.

Hello blog! There’s no in between eh, its either I don’t blog at all or I’ll have a few posts in a row. 

Anyway just wanna blog cause yesterday something really sweet happened and I want to always remember it. 

So a few days before he told me to take a picture of my student pass and he would bring me somewhere but he wouldn’t tell me where. I didn’t wanna guess also cause I want to be surprised. The last time he said that I immediately guessed it and wasn’t as surprised, although it was still a very sweet gesture on his part. (He brought me to ilight festival that time.)

So I woke up at around 730, cause too excited lol. He picked me up and we went to Marina Bay area and we had coffee at MBS. At the point we were waiting for 10am. I still am not too sure where are we headed to. 

When it was around 10 then we were walking out then he ask “you still dk where we are going ah?” then i guess, art science museum? cause that was literally the only building like out there. 

and I was right!!! 

so he passed me the tickets and like he bought tickets for us to go into both exhibitions. the future world and the treasures of the world one. the treasures of the world was fairly new but the future world i’ve been pestering him since FOREVER. can’t believe he remembered and actually brought me there as a surprise. 

it was really nice too. the exhibitions were nice and we were like trying out and taking our time with each installation. there was this one where you like draw and colour your own stuff and you can scan it into a screen and he coloured this santa sleigh one with our initials on it. so sweet right.

then when we went to the final famous installation where there were lots of lights and people were taking pictures here and there. that was really cool. i plucked up my courage and asked a passerby to take pictures for us. he asked the guy working there too but the photos were not that satisfactory so i asked someone else. but it was really nice! the photos turned out pretty good and it was some time since we took photos like that together. 

anyway afterwards we went to the treasures of the world exhibit and it was really nice too. we were laughing at all the slightly funny items on exhibit and there was this weevil ring with a latin inscription which i really like. it said, “I will tell of tiny story well worth your admiration” or something like that and i just LOVE that so much its all over my bio now. 

afterwards we went to have burger king and went back to his place to chill and nap lol. then we went to his place and chill and napped. that’s our thing now. we nap tgt lol.

at night we went to oblong to get ice cream and waffles. we got two scoop of ice creams and red velvet waffles which was awesome then i said like oh this other table they had two waffles. then he went to get another waffles for me. although the waffles we got the second one was really too damn sweet.

last night before he sleep he texted me, he said that even though i was the one who will always say that he must keep loving me but he also feel the same way and hope that i will always love him as well.

that is something he don’t have to worry about.

Hello blog. 

It’s been so long since I’ve last blogged. I had been so busy ever since school started. Work has been intense too and I just couldn’t find the time to blog.

But now my exams are over and I have some time to blog so I thought why not. Especially since I’ve been feeling kinda under the weather these few days, so maybe this blogging thing would be just the thing to perk me up. Let me see if there’s anything blog worthy that has happened.

I guess there was the outing I had with my friends. One of them shared a cheating episode with someone else and tbh it got me thinking a lot. And because he had a lot of questions about it so I wonder if he was thinking a lot about it as well. I mean it goes without question that I would not do such a thing to him. But it got me questioning on what it means to be having a ‘successful’ relationship with someone. And how can one be satisfied with going back to someone whom they do not truly love anymore?

Another noteworthy thing that happened was this issue I had with this parent at work. Its a really long and stupid story which is really unnecessary and I would not waste my energy typing it out. But it got me really down these past few days and I’m just so tired out by this parent. The night before and the previous night I haven’t been having the best of sleeps and my mood are always so down. 

On another note, I’ll be taking a trip with some of my friends next year and I truly can’t wait. One of them had been in a spot of love troubles. But what’s love without troubles right? But then again, I am not optimistic on this side of the issue. Then again, we’re all adults and what is their decision remains theirs. 

I can’t think of anything interesting to write already. He told me to be ready to go out on saturday morning but did not tell me where will we be going. He also said not to expect though. Tbh, I’m quite looking forward. Whatever it is, big or small, the thought of keeping it from me this way to have some element of surprise is quite a surprising thing from him already. 

Can’t wait for Saturday. Till then, I just have to keep hanging on.

hello blog. i am here again.

i am supposed to be doing work and and all but im not really doing it. just wanted to blog a bit to relieve some stress. if not will burn out someday yknow. idk i stress about what also.

i have something to confess. the previous weekend i was at his place and we were talking about money issues and then he started telling about what he has learnt about buying a house and other issues. and we were like looking at the different expenses we would have at this age. and i was feeling secretly happy that we were talking about it. although it doesn’t mean anything la. but i’m just secretly thinking like MAAAAAAAYBE there is a slight chance? maybe? idk.

i just now emailed him cause he emailed me a soft copy of a book. anyway so i replied him something silly and i said i keep seeing his name first thing in my inbox and that i missed him or smth like that. and he said lol delete lo.

so typical of him. but also a bit sian. 

why am i always the one who’s like so needy and doing stupid stuff. and if i keep pushing it, one day i will really annoy him to an irreversible point and i don’t want that to happen.

shall contain my silliness to myself.

Hello blog.

It’s September already. One term of school has already been over and we’re having a week’s break before term 2 starts. At least term 2 only have one lesson per week. Hopefully I won’t keep feeling like I have a lot on my plate yknow.

Been feeling a little blue today and hoping that blogging will help me feel better. Lemme see, what did we do all week.

Last week was teachers day and hari raya holidays so I had 4 days of rest in a row. Very very happy. We met on thursday night to go eat saboten as part of his birthday treat. it was pretty legit. i liked everything of it haha. even the cabbage. we went to watch a horror movie afterwards and as usual i was covering my eyes ears mouth everything. that’s the kinda wimp i am and i still wanna watch horror movie. 

and as usual he is cool as a cucumber. 

on friday we did not meet. i went out with my parents on daughter’s duty. went around with them looking for stuff for the new house. it was pretty nice. it has been a while since i went out with them and it wasn’t too bad. 

on saturday i had work and i went to work and did my assignments and stuff. it was tiring! but at least i managed to complete it. edited it a little today and submitted again. went to his place afterwards and spent the whole day together. it was pretty nice. i love being with him and i love saturdays because thats the day we hang out. 

yesterday i go and ask him if it was troublesome having a girlfriend and he go and say yes. :( then he say i know what he’s like and he did not say it was a good or bad thing.

today i didn’t do much. chores. and using the com. and cooked dinner. i spent the evening completing some overdue work and im like whoa. when i put my mind to it i can actually complete my task pretty quick. and i don’t feel blue when doing my work lol.

now just listening to spotify and downloading songs. 

im glad at least i’ve got a blogging habit. at least can blog when my emotions get the better of me. 

on the bright side, i have received my psy assignment back and i did pretty good.

on the other other hand, i should have practiced on my keyboard or ukulele. but its too late at night now.

oh wells. shall go and enjoy the last of my weekends.

hello hello. its been a while since i’ve blogged. i’ve been really busy with a lot of things at work and in school and its just overwhelming sometimes. i feel like i haven’t had much time to see each other and i brought it up today but he say its our normal routine leh. oh wells.

just wanted to blog about today cause we went to watch a movie today and it was pretty good. i had class in the morning and after class i went over to his place and we didn’t do much. laze around in bed watching videos and then i went ahead and fell right asleep. woke up a bit regretful cause we already don’t spend much time together and yet im like sleeping.

his teeth had been bothering him so he went to the dentist today and found out he needs a root canal procedure. his teeth still hurt when he bite tho. so poor thing. 

the time of the month is also here again today and im having cramps up down left right.

still, it was great to see him. we went to watch hitman’s bodyguard and i thought it was pretty sadistic but funny. some of the lines really speak to me though. it was sameul l jackson’s lines. like the part where he said bryce’s girlfriend was really special because she could tolerate all his crap and that love is just like that, there’s no plans or deductions, it just happens and you have to let it happen. 

and im just here thinking like, ah, how good is it that i have found someone who tolerated all my crap. who loves me as i am and when im at my worst (although that remains to be seen because idk if i’ve been at my worst before lol but he sure has been with me through not so good times.) 

today i was just looking at him in the car and i’ve just felt so lucky to have met him that fateful day we first met in the morning at macdonalds and that he initiated the conversation on tinder and we just hit it off since then. it has been a year and half since we’re together. and more since we’ve met. i hope we could be together for a loooong looooooooong time to come. 

when i think about him, my heart feels funny from all the reactions just the mere thought of him gives me. when i think about it, it really is the first time someone made me feel this way.

DAY 7 - 21.07.2017 TONGIN MARKET > GYEONGBOKGUNG > SAMCHEONGDONG > BUKCHON HANOK VILLAGE > DOWNTOWNER > N SEOUL TOWER 

So our first stop of the day was tongin market. we took a bus i think lol i cant remember. went to the market and was like looking for the place where we could exchange our coins. so we went up there, got our coins and lunch boxes and went downstairs to get our food. it was pretty fun lol. we chose all kinds of stuff. but then again there wasn’t much to choose from. it was still pretty fun tho. we went up and got a soup to go along with our food. the process was fun and some of the food was pretty nice. like the fried egg roll and the pancakes and the tteokgalbi. but we were expecting more to choose from.

we decided to go to a palace and see see from the outside. so we chose gyeongbokgung which was nearby to other places that we want to visit. we did not pay the entrace to go in but we went to the museum that was next to it. cause aircon why not. plus this was pretty interesting. so i was walking around and looking at the different things that people in the palace used to use and he was like go and look just go. and he was obviously bored and sitting there. i think his stomach was acting up. so i had some time to myself. stamped all the bookmark thingys they had there for us. 

we left for bukchon hanok village but ended up walking to samcheongdong instead. we decided to go eat this cause since we’re nearby. but we couldn’t eat much and he was full so a lot of it went into a doggy bag we tabao home. it was such a waste cause it was so expensive and so big but we couldn’t finish it. he took a video of me cutting the ribs and caught a funny moment lol. with the tabao food in hand we can’t go far so we thought we’ll just try and find the bukchon hanok village before going back first.

maybe we went the wrong place, maybe what i also dk but it was really disappointing. especially since we went to the one in busan and i was expecting more for this one. in the end we found these murals and we took a picture together with this behind us. we also bought this cute little plants. 2 for me and one for his mum. that was cute tho lol.

speaking of it i better go check to make sure its still alive.

ok im back, its still alive lol.

 so after we went by the disappointing bukchon hanok village, we went back to the apartment to shower and put the tabao food. 

after we rested for a while we took a cab to itaewon to eat downtowner. we managed to get in today and we got one avocado burger and a normal one. this place is burger heaven and the queue is not for show. the burger was really good. and it has officially reached the number one spot in burgers. 

im still thinking about it up till now.

we passed by a cake shop that sells crepe cake and we’re like FINALLY we got a chance to eat crepe cake. it was really good. next time maybe need go lady m in singapore then will have chance to eat such yummy crepe cake already.

we went to n seoul tower next and the tower itself was a disappointment, esp compared with seoul sky. it was my first time up there and it was really quite a scam. it has nothing to do with the weather or the fact that it is night time but the fact that the windows are so dirty and its just really disappointing considering its a landmark in seoul. the view in the toilet was nicer but i didn’t bring my phone in. the cubicle faces the side instead of the usual forward. then the whole side was made of glass and it was an odd feeling peeing while looking at the scenery. 

buying the lock and locking it up was pretty nice though. we bought a lock and wrote stuff on it and locked it on the tree thing. it was a really nice thought. that we went there and left a sign of our love there. it has been my dream to do this with someone and that night it came true. we went to get 1 for 1 frozen yoghurt cone. yum yum. we made a silly video and my whole frozen yoghurt fell out of the cone. so sad. it was a fun night regardless.

we wanted to go to the lotte mart before we go back and passed by the new seoullo 7017. it was pretty nice. but nothing special. went to buy all sorts of goodies before we return to the apartment for our final night and packed our bags as well.

DAY 8 - 22.07.2017 > GORYEO SAMGYETANG > MANJOK OHYANG JOKBAL > I PARK MALL > NORYANGJIN >  ANGEL IN US CAFE

It was our final day in seoul. we slept in and went to check in our luggage for safekeeping at the seoul airport railroad centre. Had goryeo samgyetang and the place used to have jokbal but not anymore. and i had a feeling it was not the same as the one we had last time. but we went up and had one serving of the samgyetang which i think strikes the ladies there as weird because they don’t really share their food? lol 

went to have jjokbo as we didn’t have it during the trip. the bossam was pretty good. it was pretty pricey tho. im still thinking about the bossam until now lol. we went to another mart called e mart in ipark mall at yongsan. went to had gongcha as well. the mart was nice to walk and we bought the oreo cereal that i couldn’t find in lotte as well as the wanna one biscuit that my friend wanted.

afterwards we went back to seoul stn and chill at the cafe. our last americano of korea. :(

we went back to lotte mart again for final FINAL shopping. then caught a train to incheon airport already. no time to lose. we went straight to check in which got queue. then to go in departure also got queue. when we finally reach our boarding gate was opening in 30mins. there was not a place in sight that was opened and selling food which was damn sian. we went to dunkin donuts which was also coincidentally what we ate in singapore waiting to take off. then also like the same thing wrap and sandwich lol. 

it was sad to leave, but im really thankful we had this trip together. every moment of us was so precious. initially i couldn’t even imagine us going on a trip together, and then it was worrying whether we would fight during the trip. now i just can’t wait for the next time we can go somewhere together.

Hi hi, another sunday. It has been one week since we came back from korea. i had been super busy since school start and it was just days of work and sleeping late and waking up early. regardless, i will do my best and work hard. 

let me resume my korea trip posting ok~

DAY 5 - 19.07.2017 GWANGJANG MARKET > SEODAEMUN PRISON HISTORY HALL > EHWA SHOPPING STREET > HONGDAE > SEOUL SKY

So on the 5th day, we started our morning at gwangjang market first. thankfully it wasn’t crowded and it was pretty much like what i remembered. streets of the same kind of food selling stall after stall. there was the pancake alley, then the noodles alley, then the sundae one then the kimbap one. but it was quite nice. to me it was like, yaaay street food. since it was all almost the same, we just chose one that was selling tteokbokki and kimbap and we sat there. the lady spoke koean to us and it was quite funny. we got kimbap and that was it. but she was really nice. she gave us our serving with like ikan bilis and some really nice sauce that taste a bit wasabi a bit sesameish? the kimbap hands down was the nicest food ever. she was rolling some and even fed us. it was really funny but in retrospect i suddenly caught myself thinking as i am blogging this, hopefully she hasn’t fed anyone else with that plastic glove ah.

we went to another little restaurant and had their pancakes. i went all out and ordered the raw beef. with nothing else, just raw beef. lying on a pile of cut pears and a raw egg yolk sitting on it. he doesn’t eat raw stuff so its just me. and it tastes normal. it was like the texture of raw fish? so like its nothing new to me but the feeling and the knowledge that you’re eating RAW BEEF is quite an exciting one to me. but i couldn’t managed to finish it. towards the end im just like oh man, i really cant.

so feeling a bit disappointed with myself, we went to our next location. seodaemun prison history hall. tbh before hand i did not go and research much about the place, i thought it will be a lot more rural than what is was like when we alighted. i thought it will be like in the middle of nowhere. but it was near a bus stop along other street shops and all that. when we went in we had to pay for the entrance and then it was just free and easy walk. it was kinda nice cause i was always nagging at him to go museums with me and here we are, albeit something a little different than what you would expect lol. the place was nice in the sense that its quite tourist friendly with english description everywhere. we walked around the main air conditioned building and then followed to arrows to explore other places. some of the prison cells had like those wax people or mannequins there and i got quite a shock. wasn’t expecting that. i remember when fort siloso or something had it and i was always afraid of those wax people. then some had like the torture devices and noose. and recordings of people screaming. im like whoa. that is a little too scary. there was a room outside where it look like a court room. there was a sign outside that said no pictures allowed and it was the only room that said no pictures allowed. inside it looked like a courthouse but like they’re all facing a noose. they did not explain what is the room for but it seems quite eerie and just all round uncomfortable. right outside the room there was a long deep tunnel. it was all black and dark and i can’t see anything at all inside and the sign said it was a secret tunnel to transport dead people. im like alright, that’s it, let just go.

after this we went to ehwa shopping street. at that point im feeling a little uncomfortable. i think this was the day where we left the house and bought coffee but halfway through we went back to the apartment cause i was having bad diarrhea and my period came. we went to ehwa and i actually managed to shop a bit. we went to eat the issac’s toast. and it was pretty good. just as i remembered. but maybe because its summer so its like hot and ugh. the last time we went it was october and it feels different eating a hot sandwich in a cold weather lol.

after that we decided to go hongdae to eat the honkaz i saw on the insider video. we also bought the handheld fan cause i was so hot. the place was in a little hidden corner and it was really good. the bowl of rice was so small tho lol. i think i was still feeling uncomfortable cause like i keep having to go pee and its just disrupting my mood and the trip. afterwards we didn’t wanna stay and shop. we made a trip down to seoul sky instead.

it was nice at the place. cause maybe air con lol. we bought the entrance fee and went up the seoul sky tower. apparently its a new attraction. well its definitely new to me, it wasn’t there the last time i went. there wasn’t a lot of people as well. we went straight up to the 121 floor where the view was nice, and the windows were clear. the sky was cloudy and we couldn’t see far, but we could see clearly below all the little cars and vehicles and even a small theme park. there was this glass floor place. it was pretty scary. when u step on it you can feel the thrill. there was even this one which was actually opaque but when u step on it the guy working there pressed a button on his remote and it became transparent. it was fun tho. we went a floor higher and there was a small area where it was outdoors one. it was nice and windy at the top but also warm as the place was getting a little cold for me.

when we decided to go back to seoul, it was pretty late already. we went to the lotte mart near our apartment and bought some yoghurt drink and cherries. it was fun to go walking around the mart. it was nice when we went home as well lol, i love it when we go home and is in a comfortable space with just him. we wanted to order jajangmyeon but the owner of the apartment told us it was too late already. so we walked around near the apartment to see if we could get anything to eat. there wasn’t much options and we walked up and down before just buying something from paris baguette. still good tho. 

DAY 6 - 20.07.2017 GAPYEONG > PETITE FRANCE > GARDEN OF MORNING CALM > NAMI ISLAND > DONGDAEMUN > MYEONGDONG

alright! so day 6. the previous night we made discussion to go to the three places far far away lol. so early morning we woke up and went to yongsan stn to get our itx tickets. we managed to get the earlier train and went down to the convenience store to buy coffee and wait for the train. we reach gapyeong and waited a while for the shuttle bus. paid 6000 won for whole day unlimited ride. so we were like strategising our day. when can we go where to avoid the crowds yknow. so we decided since everyone probably will go nami island first, lets go petite france.

petite france was like what everyone said, touristy and hot, and nothing much other than taking lots of photos. which is what i did! plus there was the little prince and i LOVE the little prince so, selfie stick out, snapping everywhere. i remember at the point i was still feeling uncomfortable about the pee frequency and stuff but i was having fun so i wasn’t thinking too much about it. we went to the most places in petite france but we were like keeping time so that we don’t have to wait too long for the shuttle bus too. i think we were out of the place like within an hour? we could have stayed longer though but i dont want to miss the bus as well. besides its hot as hell.

we took the bus and this time round it was a longer ride up to garden of morning calm. but the bus was not crowded, there was aircon so why not. we just chilling in the bus and enjoying the aircon. when we reach only another couple alighted. we went to the entrance and got our tickets and start exploring. as usual, since its so high up and its summer, it was really hot. but its a nice place to explore and walk around. took lots of pictures and climbed up stuff i usually will not. the place is really big and i think if the weather is slightly more cooler, it would have been wonderful. there was a stream where some people were like playing in the water and resting in the shade on the stones by the stream and i was really jealous cause i wanna go in also lol.

we took the shuttle bus back to nami island and at that point to be very honest i was tired, hot and hungry. we were on the shuttle bus and it was a long ride and he got a bit impatient. we were waiting at cheongpyeong station and he said, hey why not we just alight and take the subway to gapyeong and then cab to nami island. and being the pacifist (jk) that i am i said ok why not. so we went down and wanted to take the subway but we were waiting at the wrong side and the train came and left. and we’re like shoot, lets go to the correct side, but would u believe it, the trains don’t come every 5mins like they do in seoul, we had to wait for about 20 mins and he was annoyed because we came down to save time but in the end we did not save any time. but it was all ok, we went to the convenience store, got some drinks and food. and we just waited. it wasn’t that long, time passed quickly. so we reached gapyeong, went to buy gimbap and lemonade and took a cab to nami island.

that part was quick enough. we reach the entrance and watch people zipline down to nami. we on the other hand, took a ferry. it wasn’t as crowded as i expected it to be. and since there were so many trees, it was quite cooling to walk there. we walked down the paths and having not watch the winter sonata, i don’t really know where is where. we just strolled wherever, looking for squirrels and seeing some peacocks as well. it was a nice place luh, kinda like coney island LOL. 

we decided to go for downtowner at itaewon and i was majorly excited because i was SO hungry. we took the train back to cheongnyanni station and then to itaewon. it was a bit of a walk, i was walking though, pretty excited to finally eat the avocado burger but when we went there, the last order was already taken. and i got really disappointed and pissed. and coupled with the fact that im not feeling good already. so i was whining and complaining and he got annoyed at me also. so we weren’t talking, we’re just walking. i feel wronged and idk how he is feeling at that point, but i guess he was annoyed and i didn’t wanna aggravate it. 

within 15mins i was feeling guilty already though so i tried to catch up with him to hold his hand. we walked a crazy long distance to the bus stop to dongdaemun and had shake shack. i guess at least we got to try shake shack. tbh it was nth to shout about. esp the one that i ordered. lol. there wasn’t anything much in dongdaemun so we decided to go myeongdong at night and see how its like.

once again, i wasn’t feeling very well and my stomach feels funny after the shake shack lol. i didn’t really wanna go myeongdong but then again, this trip is for both of us, not just me. so we went, and we bought the fried chicken which he seems to like so much and some other snacks. we were looking around for jajangmyeon also and managed to find one when we’re on our way home. when we were walking up and down the streets in my mind i was like omg, can we not turn here and there again but as im typing here in retrospect, i wish i could have been a better girlfriend and enjoy the experience with him. idk if he felt anything that night cause if he did he didn’t say anything but i was quite ashamed of myself in terms of how i behaved and how i felt internally. that night was one night i wanted to redo if i can.

when we went back to the apartment, i was the happiest girl in the world. we showered and had the jajangmyeong which was really good.

hi, i am back from a dinner break haha. ready to continue my blog entry.

DAY 3 - 17.07.2017 BUSAN > DONGBAEK ISLAND > NURIMARU APEC HOUSE > BUSAN AQUARIUM > SEOMYEON SQUARE > THE BAY 101 > HAEUNDAE BEACH

On the third day, we went to the dongbaek island near our airbnb. anyway have i talked about our airbnb? it was really nice on the 37th floor and have every amenities i could wish for. washing machine, dryer, water heater, microwave, hairdryer, stove, the toilet was a good size and theres a pretty fridge and lots of storage. 

ok but we went to dongbaek island in the morning and we went walking round the boardwalk. it was nice and windy but really hot as well. saw the mermaid statue and enjoyed the scenery. this is something i would learn to appreciate once i got to seoul. we hiked round the park climbing up some steep slope to see the statue of choi chi won. i still remember his name cause we made such an effort to climb up. bought a can of chilsung cider. yum yum. wanted to pick the pine cones from the ground lol. 

this is the only pic i have of nurimaru apec house. because it was really boring. maybe because idk how to appreciate it. but it was the place where all the world leaders came to have a meeting on idk what but it was really stuffy inside with no air ventilation. the big painting outside was pretty tho but i didn’t get a picture of it.

had dwaejigukbap for lunch and went to the busan aquarium afterwards even though it was pricey and touristy and just another aquarium LOL. it was pretty nice. we were just in love with the garden eels. our favourite. the otters were really cute too but one of it only have one arm left. it was nice to escape the heat for a bit to hide in the aircon aquarium though. we wanted to stay and catch the feeding times for the different creatures but the piracua one was really crowded and we decided not to wait for the rest.

seomyeon square was mainly departmental store. and although it was nice to hide in the mall away from the sun it was really boring lol. one thing really stood out was him looking for a present for his brother and he insist on not using the search function on the directory but going to the different floors to see. im just like okay~ okay~ if you insist. 

afterwards we went to eat yummy jogaejjim. he suggested that we should eat seafood since we are in busan (YESSSSSS) so we went to this place since clams is something he will eat. it was a lot, but really nice lol

afterwards we went to the bay101. it was a new building in busan and it was a yacht club apparently. nothing to shout about though. from the building itself the view was just meh. we went to the back of the building to a park where it connects to a dock. from there the view was nicer. we took some pictures and a video for his sister’s wedding. we went to the haeundae beach afterwards and it was night time already. the water was super cold. but it was really nice being so close to the beach. when i check the photos i saw that one of the photos of us has a boat in the picture with the view and i was a bit upset about it. and he was so nice he said we could go back to the place to take again if i want to.

afterwards i really wanted to come to the beach in the morning. but i can tell he was a bit reluctant. i keep bargaining with him first i say for an hour. then i say half hour. in the end he say we can come if we manage to wake up. and i really wanted to since it was our last night. 

anyway in the end we went. he woke up early and we went to the beach in the morning. even though he didn’t really want to. so thankful, that he was so considerate towards me.

DAY 4 - 18.07.2017 BUSAN > SEOUL > MYEONGDONG > BANPO BRIDGE

so we went to the beach, i was picking out shells and pretty stones, he was taking pictures of the scenery. considering we woke up so early after sleeping so late the previous night, he was pretty nice about it. afterwards we had to go back and pack up to catch our ktx train back to seoul.

so the previous day we went to the busan station to buy our tickets. we initially chose 110 cause we didn’t want to rush. then afterwards we went back and change to 1200. but no seats. so we change to 1230 but no seats tgt. end up that day we went early and managed to change the 1200 tickets. he kept asking if we should change the timing and when i said nvm lets just go he still kept asking so i know he wanted to change the timing lol. anyway we managed to get the tickets so we bought some fishcake and we went to take the train. 

it was a long ride back to seoul but feels faster than when from incheon to busan. we reached seoul and went to check in our airbnb first. it was a REALLY horrible journey up cause we were carrying our luggages and there were two steep slopes instead of one. the airbnb was nice. amenities were all there including a cute little table. but the washing machine have no dryer. and the toilet was really small. the showering area wasn’t separated like the busan airbnb. i guess it can’t be helped. but they have a fridge and a rice cooker and stove as well. which we never used. lol 

went to myeongdong street afterwards since it was still early. went to eat the dalkganjeong, cheese and tteok, meatballs and myeongdong gyoza. it was hot but not as crowded as we imagined it would be. spent a lot of money on water and drinks. 

went to the banpo bridge afterwards and took some time to find it. we were so lost and walking so far just to get to the bridge lol. finally reach the park and there were already a lot of people there. we wanted to get fried chicken so we went to buy from a shop nearby. came back and ate chicken while waiting for the rainbow fountain WHICH NEVER HAPPENED. a bit disappointed but he said just eating chicken beside me by the river is good enough.

so sweet right.

i remembered we took the bus back to our apartment and it was real crowded and real shakey and he told me to just hold on to him. so i was clinging onto him for dear life and im just like, i know you’ll never let me fall. i love you sooooooooooooo much.

hello blog. i am back from my korea trip and it was a wonderful wonderful 8 days that i wish i can relive again and again. but since i can’t, i have the memories and the pictures to look at when i feel down and discouraged or when i just needed some positive vibes to cheer me on.

i will just blog about the days we spent there to the best of my memories, so that other than photos, i have pictures to remember as well.

DAY 1 - 15.07.2017 SINGAPORE > SEOUL > BUSAN

So bright and early in the morning, which i couldn’t sleep the night before anyway, cause i had to do some stuff for my acceptance of the training award. so i was up the whole night and had to wake up at 4am. woke up sleepy but fully and really excited. he took a cab to my place and we cab over from our place to the airport, same grab driver lol.

we reach there pretty early. the sky was still dark and still have some time before our boarding gate open. went to buy coffee and wrap and sandwich from dunkin donuts and sat at the lounge area to wait for our flight. after some time, the boarding gate opened and we were able to board the plane. the seats were really cramped but we got the window and aisle seat so like we’re just side by side. even though it was like a 6hr plus journey including the rescheduled time, it was pretty enjoyable. he was taking care of me, making sure i have everything i need. i remember my phone dropped onto the side or the bottom of my seat and he crouched down to pick it up for me and im just like my hero.

flight was ok, turbulent at times and i got a little scared. we watched our own shows and ate our own meals. it was pretty nice. at around 410, we arrived and were thinking if we could get to the KTX on time. timewise we’re pretty on track but when we went to the counter at the airport, the lady gave us 630 tickets direct from incheon instead. she insisted that it is the best timing rather than taking the arex to seoul and then to busan. so we decided to just heed her advice and went to eat lotteria before catching the train. and i’ve been nagging about eating lotteria cause like singapore don’t have then he keep saying see how cause don’t want whole trip also eat burgers. so im glad we had a chance to go eat. 

at around 630 we went to catch the ktx to busan. it takes quite some time so it was 1020 when we reach busan already. there was nothing much to do on the train. good thing there was a usb plug and wifi so we’re just using phone to pass the time. it was really boring. plus it was night time so like there was not much of a view also. 

after what felt like forever, we finally reached busan. it was late already so we decided to take a cab to our airbnb instead of public transport. we went out of the station to the roadside and flag a cab down. we reach our airbnb just fine. went up the 37th floor, deposited our stuff, then went back down again to buy water and some food. it was too late to go around to see as we had planned or eat dinner so just bought some onigiri. the view from the airbnb was supposed to be really nice, overlooking the beach but it was too dark to see anything. we just showered and went to sleep cause we were so tired from the continuous travelling today. 

DAY 2 - 16.07.2017 BUSAN > ORYUKDO > BIFF SQUARE > GAMCHEON CULTURAL VILLAGE > SONGDO SKYWALK > JAGALCHI FISH MARKET > GWANGGALLI BEACH

oryukdo skywalk was like my top priority in busan cause it looked so nice on the picture. but like in the end it was like meh, its beautiful but not as i expected. we took a bus to oryukdo and walked down the side of the slope facing the sea. when we reached the skywalk itself, it was a really small curved bridge with transparent floor. we had to wear these socks i guess so as not to dirty the skywalk or scratch the pavement with our shoes. it was a nice scenery and nice breeze, but pretty underwhelming. it was like walk walk walk then thats it. 

this was my sole photo of BIFF square. idk if its because we went at the wrong time or what. a lot of the little stalls were closed although we did managed to find the stall selling the hotteok that every blog recommended us. it was nothing to shout about though. really disappointed with BIFF square.

gamcheon cultural village was another story. gamcheon was really pretty with unexpected turns here and there. we didn’t use much maps for individual locations during the trip but i asked for one as i was afraid i would miss out some stuff. but they told me there are no maps for gamcheon. so we just walked and wandered wherever we go. he was a good sport throughout the trip, usually he not the kind who would take pictures and stuff but he was willingly taking photos with me and even FOR me. we saw cute dogs and like guys dressed in those japanese school girl uniform. it was really bizarre. we didn’t manage to take picture with the little prince statue at the side of a wall as there was a long queue of people waiting to take pictures but at least we found another little prince statue lol. we went to all the little corners and rickety, uneven steps and slopes and it was just really nice and windy to have this kind of adventure with my favourite person. 

We almost gave Songdo a miss. this was quite interesting cause we were actually on our way to gwanggalli beach so we were on the bus and we passed by the songdo skywalk and we were like eh look interesting, lets go lets go. so we alighted right at the next stop and took the next bus in the opposite direction. the songdo beach was really crowded and the skywalk was much more interesting than the oryukdo one. there was a newly refurbished cable car called busan air cruise. there was a long line for the cable car, i guess because its newly opened. the queue for the crystal floor one was super long and super slow. and also quite pricey so we went for the normal one. which was just as fun. it has been some time since both of us were on cable car and it was quite scary. the ahjummas in the same carriage as us were so chatty and keep laughing at every movement of the carriage so in the end he kept laughing as well. went to the other side of the cable car which is a park called aman park. had tteokbokki there and that was it. the park was mainly for hiking and we were not in the correct clothes and it was too hot to hike anyway.

my only picture of jagalchi fish market! even though he don’t eat fish much, let alone raw sashimi fish, he was very nice and went with me to the jagalchi fish market and looked for something with a suitable price with me. this was 20000 won that the lady cut the price for because i said im the only one eating. he mainly just watched me and ate some of the banchan and im just so thankful that he is willing to go there with me even though he is not eating at all.

after jagalchi fish market we took a train down to gwanggalli beach. this beach was really far away from the train station but once we reached there, there were lots of shops selling little this and that. can tell the whole area was completely catered for foreigners or just ppl coming for a holiday. the bridge looked really pretty against the sky and the sea. we went to eat bbq duck afterwards and i think he really enjoyed it which makes me really happy.

i can’t find a picture of the duck we ate. grrrrrr.

afterwards we just went back to our airbnb and had rested. we went back and was sunburnt all over and we walked so much so we’re really tired. it was a really fruitful day tho.

i will continue the other days in other post so it won’t be too long.

hello blog.

i had a long day today and im very tired. im about to rest soon but just wanted to post on my blog cause today wasn’t a very good day.

so like, my mood hasn’t been in the best condition today. i was really grumpy and tired. and everything people ask me to do is just a pain in the ass. we had a farewell for a teacher today that a parent organised and i had to do a montage. actually idk why the lead tch don’t do it cause like it was her idea to agree to do it. but nvm. ok so anyway, then at the farewell was like weird and stuff cause of all the politics going on. and i was like caught in the middle cause i didn’t feel like i truly belonged in either groups of teachers. and basically it was really lame.

and then i come back home and my grandma asked me to look for air tickets for her. that part wasn’t the problem. the problem was my mum acting totally unnecessary when i asked her is it i would book it for my grandma today like PLS. she was asking me to search this and that which still isn’t part of the problem. its when she’s done asking me to search and she just kept quiet instead of telling me what to do next. im like whats her effing problem.

ok but even then, nvm, just that my baby has been sick for the past few days and he’s been feeling so tired and down and i wish i can do smth to help. i don’t like it when he is sick. but like he said, at least it isn’t when we are in korea. i hope he feels better before then.

gosh, tmr really can try and be a better day.

hello blog.

i am back again.

feeling a little down so im just here to spill my thoughts and stuff thats been bothering me. recently feel a bit frustrated and moody. could be the workload, could be the hormones, i don’t even know.

been feeling like a lot of work has been piled on me and im really annoyed over it. like the family day planning, now she needs ppl to go recce and i really don’t want to do it. i’m not even in charge of it. i will NOT go down the place to recce and if anyone should it should be the teacher who is in charge. i flatly refuse.

im so tired yknow. i can’t wait for my trip just to unwind. i just want to lean on you and feel safe with you. i want to hear reassuring words once or twice.

yesterday when u texted me “everything will be alright, things will be alright, you will be alright.” i really felt like crying. it was such a calming msg to see and i just felt really at peace. 

everything will be alright i guess.

Hello blog. Just two more weeks to our Korea trip and I'm so excited! Yesterday was my birthday. I'm officially 22! So old once u think about it. I met with my friends from poly and we went to collect textbooks and they brought me to eat cake. It was nice meeting them after soooo damn long. Afterwards R send me to his house. We just hang out for a while before going out to have dinner. Dinner was sushi. Yum yum. He ordered my favourite stuff and I felt like the number 1 pampered girlfriend. Afterwards he had to send me home cause he was watching movies with his friends. Even though it was a short meet up it was really nice. I wish it could be longer but I guess it can't be helped. Dreading work quite a bit tmr. I've just sent him a screenshot of the news about the increase in price of the ROM. He asked me why I sent him that. I said no reason. Or did I say smth else. Smth along those lines luh. Sometimes I ask myself also. Why did I send it to him eh? Till then, 💕

hello blog.

it has been some time since my last post. been awfully busy with centre set up and stuff. and my p has been away on hospitalisation leave so i had quite a fair bit of crap to do.

june is almost ending. my love has been to reservist and back. the 5 days was pretty hard. he was constantly on my mind and i’m just missing him SO MUCH all the time. and it didn’t help that he doesn’t seem to miss me that much. but we texted lots and i got to see him on friday again which was nice.

this weekend itself was just really nice. so we met on friday after work and we didn’t do much. just lazed around at his place. and saturday i had ptc so after that we went to amkhub to do some shopping and go to the bank and went back to his place to laze around again. but it was nice. he was hugging me and sending me sweet texts and saying nice stuff to me lol

sunday we met in the afternoon and went out. went to make his glasses and eat pork knuckles at kovan lol. it was a nice day. he didn’t drive so we took the bus and it was kinda nice cause we don’t take the bus tgt and the experience itself was nice being able to lean on him and kiss him and him looking at me while on the journey.

afterwards we came up to my place and we were just watching random videos and lazing around. then we suddenly just decided to go ntuc and buy sausage to cook at like 10pm lol. but it feels nice. i wish he doesn’t have to go home. 

today we met yet again haha. just for the afternoon. watched videos and napped lol. nothing much. 

ytd his sister was proposed to. saw the video on facebook and it was so sweet. just to tease him i said, next time i want like that also. and he acted blur with me lol. in the end i told him i’m just kidding, cause i know how he gets when i say stuff like this. to be 100% honest, i was like 90% kidding? hahaha. 

i couldn’t bring myself to tell you to your face. but 10% of me hope someday in the future it could become a reality for us too. maybe don’t need to be like that also la. just... if we could be together it would be nice . 

if at the end of the day we could say goodnight while next to each other instead of goodbye... isn’t such a bad thought right?

i am feeling sad these days and idk why. i can’t put it into words, i can’t reason with myself. the best i could do is distraction distraction distraction. i read stuff and i watch shows and i just try not to feel that sadness i’m feeling. idk why am i feeling so blue these few days. i really can’t find any underlying reasons.

i wish it will go away.

hello hello my blog.

it is june and i am back again at my blog. :) on a happier note, i have went through my second interview for my sponsorship. i hope everything works out. i have also finished my portfolio (all the writing parts) and i am verrrrrry happy lol. basically now all i had to do is to prepare for term 3 and qccr in july and im free to just think about my korea trip already.

yesterday we had our usual saturday dates where we just met up. we went for a run cause we didn’t had a chance to on friday. cause friday we took half day to go paktor also LOL. so we ran around 11 plus and it was so hot cause the afternoon sun was right overhead. it was a hard run but we managed to pull it off. went back to his place and watched silly videos and just chill. we were watching the extreme cheapskates video with ppl skimping on their wedding and it was nice to just watch and discuss with him lol. feeds my imagination that we might have a future tgt eh. he always says one step at a time. and he’s not wrong. definitely we have to go one step at a time, but, sometimes its nice to imagine too. 

on friday we took half day and we went to science centre. it was pretty nice. some of the things remained the same since primary school times when we last set foot there. but there are some changes already and i felt like it can’t be compared to like the LCKNHM. maybe cause im old already. regardless we had fun. we went to the chinese garden and japanese garden afterwards and it was a lot of walking but we took lots of pictures too. and he took some nice pictures of me which im very happy about haha.

we went to this tzi char place that he goes to with his army friends. it was ok. he said the standard drop tho. but it was a nice date regardless, getting to leave early and just enjoying his company.

he’s going for his reservist in 2 more weeks’ time. we’re at that part of the year again. i remember the last time he went for reservist. the week is the longest week ever, but at least i get to see him in his uniform which is like HOT. hehe. i hope i get to see it again this year. 

i will miss him terribly when he is away. :(

last week i had blood in my pee and it was such a scare for me cause yknow blood. i went to the doctor and its just uti. i got antibiotics and it cleared up in a day or two. thank goodness. it was a first for me and i got soooo scared. he went with me to the doctors so i’m very thankful for that. my boyfriend is the best to me.

tmr is monday again, back to work, back to the slog.
