So here’s a thought. (Sorry if this has been done)

The glass orbs they’re in really remind me of terrariums.

If you don’t know, a closed terrarium can eventually create its own ecosystem and is usually in a glass container, like these:

So I think that they’re in a terrarium to represent learning to love yourself instead of relying on another person to give you worth. They’re showing that we can all become beautiful independent terrariums.
