He places Connor down - but only to lean on him. So, maybe the 'break' is for his benefit as much as Connor's, but he'll never admit it aloud.

  “and what exactly had prompted this acute observation, may i----” the android doesn’t even get to finish the sentence, pausing as he is lifted up without so much as a warning. brows furrow together and his LED circles yellow, if only for a moment, asessing the situation. 

  connor doesn’t exactly.. get tired--- nor did he look that way. did he? he sure had been working intensely for a while, there’s no doubt about that, yet the sudden gesture strikes him as a bit odd. it is, however, appreciated, if the slight presence of a smile that settles as he’s placed down is anything to go by. “hmm, twenty minutes it will be, then.”
