Love how in the canon-verse everyone probably knew Vox as Alastor’s weird box headed friend when he first came to hell and now in the Swap AU everyone is gonna know Al as Vox’s cute deer boytoy before he asserts himself as the most terrifying Overlord ever. The irony is hilarious, canon-verse Al would despise this turn of events

Hahahaaaa, that's the exact reason I called it a role reversal AU. A lot of things are indeed staying the same, or else being changed in ways that aren't directly parallel swaps, but the basic idea of Alastor being the fresh meat that Overlord Vox befriends rather than Vox tumbling into hell and making friends with the Radio Demon is what's fueled the basic concept! And damn does Vox want the "cute deer boytoy" image to stick.

Niffty as Hermes is precious! And I like that she carries a radio to relay the message, as a nod to how she's under contract with Alastor in the show.

Besides, I’ve just taken the time to get myself cleaned up, and I’ve still got that—” He gestures with the toe of his boot to the spots of wetness glimmering on the floor underneath Vox. “—to deal with cleaning up later, since you apparently can’t control yourself.”

666: Live On Air! has been driving me fucking insane, and the tenth part Segment 666, Now Airing: The Dummy's Guide to Trying Your Best! just came out and I am clawing at the walls of my enclosure. Thank you @prince-liest for writing!

Basically, I had to draw SOMETHING, and I will say that this does not even get halfway to what I saw in my head when I read the scene (he does NOT look as close to breaking as he is in the scene, but what can you do), BUT I still like it a lot.

So, there's this really incredible appleradio fic, 'Bedtime Rituals To Try Out Before The Next Angelic War', that I've now read twice at least twice....it's living rent free in my head accompanied by lots and lots of amazing imagery! I had to draw this scene to express my love for the great Lucifer and Alastor interactions in it (and to try and do justice to the way the Hotel is actually kinda sentient here, and rocking a whole lotta personality!)

The author is @miribalis I believe (if you see this, I hope you like it and please know that your fic is one of my all-time favs at this point! It's one of my go-to comfort reads at this point and I've been collecting those for a couple decades, so that's saying something!)

Omg from the snippet I just realized how difficult it must have been to relearn how to dance with hooves.

Honestly, my sympathies go out to anyone who had major bodily anatomy changes in hell and had to relearn how to use that stuff. At least hooved legs are still, like. Y'know, legs. Think about poor Sir Pentious, though, or even Angel Dust!
