Yippee!!!! Anzu!!!!!! Harumi's little sister by a little over four years!! + an attempt at the mp100 style lol

Some things about Anzu under the cut:

Anzu has no psychic powers. At most she can see some spirits (Dimple included) but other than that she can't exorcise them or anything. Mob was a bit overprotective with her for the first some years of her life due to her lack of psychic powers

Unlike her older sister Harumi, Anzu isn't expressive, usually seen with a blank look on her face. But she isn't repressing any emotions; rather, she just doesn't feel the need to express herself the same way as her sister, so you'll rarely see her emote. She finds it much easier to express herself through drawing, which she loves to do.

The one thing guaranteed to get a reaction from her is spiders, as she's terrified of them. Unfortunately, she has an older sister who adores every type of bug

She doesn't like exercising like her sister or dad

She is also short, unlike her sister who is Tall

Similar to her sister, she has trouble lying. She tends to be very blunt and can oftentimes come off as rude. She's working on doing better with that.

She also knows Reigen isn't a psychic because Harumi told her, though Harumi told her at a young age that Reigen is "secretly playing pretend" about it so that's the story Anzu has in her head for a while

I see her being very booksmart and getting into Yuzu Pepper High lol

She's made so that her and Harumi are kind of parallels to Ritsu and Mob!! But if Ritsu wasn't desperate for psychic powers lol. because of Mob passing down what he learned from Reigen to his daughters, Anzu ends up seeing psychic powers as something normal and just a trait that some people have, a bit like her freckles, so she isn't too bothered by the fact she doesn't have psychic powers even if many people in her life have them

She loves her family and friends, she just doesn't show it in typical ways

she is gender apathetic but she uses she/her just because it's easier + she doesn't care enough

Unlike Harumi, who is a constant to any Mob ship I like (which is actually. a decent amount lol) Anzu only exists in my head for EmiMob, TeruMob, EmiTeruMob, and ShouMob (her birth mom is Emi, whether in a ship or thru surrogacy)

I love opening my sketchbook that i bring to work whenever i wanna doodle after almost 2 weeks of not opening it. I completely forgot i started trying to figure out a design for magical girl!Teru

and like especially (dropping some lore thoughts for my au here).

Ritsu/Sodalite is a similar case to Amethyst where he was made on Earth but doesn't know his purpose, but I know what Sodalites in my au are for

Mob/Onyx has no memories of his past for Reasons rejuvenator but sometimes that old him resurfaces and he's afraid of who he used to be and what he's meant for as an Onyx. And I know what Onyxes in my au are for

Reigen/Pyrite Gold knows what he was made for but lies to everyone abt his Gem and his old purpose before becoming a Crystal Gem. While I know the truth of what he was initially made in my au for

like it would be SO funny. if they dropped a Sodalite/Onyx/Pyrite in the new series and its different from what Ive planned out for my au.

yknow with the announcement of the new Steven Universe spin off.

so like for most characters in my mp100 su au, i made them gems that aren't in the show explicitly bc that meant i could make something up for them + not have to worry too much about making their designs Super Accurate to any canon gem type that has been seen, while also letting it be kind of canon compliant to the world of SU since in my head, the au takes place in a similar world where the SU canon happens somewhere alongside the au but on the other side of the world.

anyway it would be SO funny if one or more of the gems i chose ends up being introduced in Lars of the Stars and completely contradicts what ive decided about those gems in my au already
