If drabble requests are open, may I request one with Fred'r and Bonnibel?
During what would later be called the Second Solar Era, the gods began to realize just how much their magic affected their familiars. The familiars of their parents had since ascended to godhood, and it was understood that this could happen to any familiar at any point.
The golden bear of protection- Hermea- was the greatest advocate for these familiars, encouraging them to reach out and explore the limits of their powers. Even teaching them to unlock their tongues, that they might speak as gods and man do.
It was toward the end of the Second Solar Era that the gods released their former familiars unto the world to find their own way.
And that was when the former familiar of the storm goddess met the former familiar of the god of darkness. A rabbit and a bear.
As you might imagine, a rabbit would not be so eager to meet a bear. Bonnibel regarded Fred'r with mistrust.
Their first meeting happened when the two star-crossed lovers visited a sacred spring in search of healing waters.
The afternoon was warm and bright. Dragonflies swirled about over the crystal clear waters. Their gilded carapaces glittered in the sunlight. Flickers of glittering green and gold dancing about the edges of the spring, where lush ferns shaded the vines of delicate moonflowers.
Fred'r was a mountainous bear. The blue rabbit spotted him from a distance and slowed, uncertain about approaching the large beast. His long ears folded back as he crouched in the brush.
The bear moved with surprising care. Bonnibel had always thought of bears as great, lumbering beasts. Crushing flowers under paw and leaving messes in their wake.
It was almost amusing, watching Fred'r tiptoe around flowers and through ferns on his way to the steamy pools.
Bonnibel considered turning and leaving. The last thing he needed was trouble from a bear. But then, the massive brown bear tripped over his own feet and fell head-long into the spring. Water sprayed across the ferns so far that Bonnie felt it wet his coat.
The rabbit couldn't help but laugh. He straightened, looking at Fred'r as the bear slowly pulled himself up from the deep end. Shaking out his long fur, Freddy met Bonnie's gaze.
"Saw that, did you?" Freddy looked down at his feet bashfully, rubbing the back of his fluffy head. His vest was soaked straight through, along with the pouch on his belt.
"How could I miss it?" Bonnie chuckled, picking his way through the brush. "What exactly is a great big bear like you doin' up here?"
"I came to fetch some of this water," Freddy explained. Thick drops fell from his fur as he stepped out of the spring. "There's a village near the base of this mountain, and the people there have recently-
"Been suffering from an illness," Bonnibe finished, his magenta eyes widening. "You were the other god they were talking about. They said you went up the mountain alone a few days ago."
"Oh, yes..." Fred'r laughed a little. "I don't possess much magical prowess. So I had to hike the whole way." His response made Bonnie's ears perk. The rabbit crept a little closer.
"You hiked for days to fetch some spring water." Bonnibel's muzzle curved with a sincere smile. "That's mighty noble of you. But it'll take you days more to hike down..."
"Unfortunately, you're right," Fred'r nodded. "But if I did nothing for these people, what kind of god would I be? More than that- what kind of person would I be?"
"...Hm." Bonnibel chuckled, shaking his head. "Well, fluffball, lucky for you, I was here. I can have some of this spring water down the mountain lickety-split!"
"That's wonderful," Fred'r opened his pouch and began to remove several glass jars in a disparity of shapes and sizes. Bonnie couldn't help but chuckle at the bear's collection.
"You got a name, mr. bear?" Bonnibel accepted a few of the jars and knelt at the water's edge to fill them. The bear knelt right beside him, looking in high spirits.
"Fred'r. Although, my friends tend to call me 'Freddy'. And what is your name?" Freddy looked at Bonnibel. The rabbit god paused, taking in Freddy's kind blue eyes. Bonnie felt a subtle stir in his chest.
"Bonnibel. But please just call me Bonnie." He looked down at the water.
"Bonnie. You know, Bonnibel means 'cheerful'," Freddy mused, "it's a fitting name."
"Do I seem cheerful?" Bonnie quirked a brow.
"I think it would be more apt to say you seem like the kind of person that brings cheer wherever you go," Fred'r smiled at Bonnie. He grunted softly as he got to his feet. Bonnibel was quick to follow. The rabbit knew it was time to go, and he lamented that he couldn't stay to chat with the strange, wonderful bear god a little longer.
"Funny," Bonnie shook his head, "I would say the same about you." He accepted the full jars from Fred'r and began tucking them into his pack.
"What does 'Fred'r' mean?" Bonnie looked up at Freddy with interest.
"Peaceful," Freddy smiled brightly. "I hope to see you again, Bonnibel."
"You took the words right off my tongue again," Bonnie laughed. He offered Freddy a wave. "Till next time, Freddy."

Hey Afton, what were your kids like?
Through the swirling mists that separate our worlds, you reach out. Your call is heard by the only one left to hear it. A rabbit, alone in the darkness of the abyss. He stirs. His form is more skeletal than before. You can sense it; he is decaying. Perhaps, someday, he'll even be at peace.
Despite his fetid form, he smiles wistfully.
"Foxy was always and adventurous lad. He was independent from the beginning, and only became more strong-willed and stubborn with age. We fought from time to time- the way parents and teenagers do. But I was proud of him." Afton sighed, shaking his head.
"Evan was just a boy when he went. Barely old enough to grasp a concept like death. I remember he was always so curious. So thoughtful. He was the complete opposite of his brother, though. Quiet. Shy. A good boy, if a little timid."
"Elizabeth. She took after me most of all. Even from a very young age, she was curious about magic. About the world and how to bend it to her will. Sometimes... Sometimes I wonder if it was for the best that she didn't become a fully grown god. I fear she may have been even more ruthless than I. Honestly, I think if that had come to pass, I'd have hated myself even more than I do now."

tell me about your day!! (For eclipse)
"It was a beautiful day. I woke up beside the love of my life- that's you, in case you forgot." Eclipse chuckled. "And after arguing with Lunar over what to make for breakfast, we hiked up the road to the nearby village to replenish our supplies. Trekking through the western continent has been such an adventure. And the best part is seeing the wonder in your eyes at every new discovery."
"We decided to stop around lunchtime. Tsu found a beautiful waterfall just off the beaten forest path. Watching you dive with Lunar nearly sent me to an early grave. You've become so bold since we set out."
"After swimming and gathering a few plants Lunar insisted on finding- something about dragon herbology practices? Tsu was so excited about it. Anyway, after that we started a fire and had dinner together. You're getting better and better at cooking. I suspect that's thanks to Lunar's help."
"Then we finally got to my favorite part of the day; settling in for bed. Nothing brings me more joy than holding you close and listening to you fall asleep."

Was re-reading the drabbles and got to 'Gift of Fire' and now I feel bad for poor Sunny. He just wanted to make his father proud and now Solaris is terrible. :(
Untreated mental illness in parents is a serious issue. Solaris should have sought help instead of bullying his own sons >:( It is a terrible shame that things went the way they did.

What if the special christmas thingy happened in the fic/canon story? Like Solaris visiting his son, the three spirits showing Sun the past/possible outcome. Would things get at least a little, tiny bit better?
I've been thinkin about this question for a long, long time.
And truthfully, I don't think so. I think that in canon, if the approach was this harsh, it would've just sped up Sun's collapse and subsequent complete possession. Sun in canon was already bearing the weight of so much guilt.
