No Chapter 21 Boruto TBV Does Not Confirm that Boruto x Sarada are End Game!!!

So, the new chapter of Boruto TBV is out and a Game Rant article published yesterday says that it confirms that Boruto x Sarada are End Game, but it DOESN'T.

The only way this chapter would be remotely close to confirming that Boruto x Sarada are End Game is if it confirmed that Boruto has feelings for Sarada.

At this point, we are much closer to confirming that Konohamaru x Moegi are End Game that Boruto x Sarada (which I don't think they are) than Boruto x Sarada.

Now does this mean that I don't think Boruto x Sarada are End Game. No. It just means that Ikemoto has put more evidence has put more evidence into confirming that both Konohamaru and Moegi and feelings for each other than he has put into confirming that both Sarada and Boruto have feelings for each other (specifically, Boruto).

Now, if you have not realized that Sarada has feelings for Boruto yet then you are living under a freaking rock. You are someone who does not understand subtext even when its incredibly overt and you need things spelled out for you.

So, far Sarada's feelings have been confirmed multiple times through overt subtext. This chapter just used a giant flashing sign and canonical confirmation to say, "Yes, you are not seeing or imagining things. Sarada does have romantic feelings for Boruto!!!!!"

Now, why am I not jumping up and down and declaring the two of them to be End Game and destined to live happily ever after?

Umm... because do you see that whitish-blue haired man in the top panel on the left side? His name is Mitsuki (if you forgot) and he had his own chapter devoted to this phenomena back around chapter 12. It actually took up a good part of the first half of TBV.

In this part (section, series of chapters) Mitsuki had an entire conversation with Eida in which he admitted to being ROMANTICALLY IN LOVE WITH KAWAKI but he realizes that in his mind KAWAKI IS ACTUALLY BORUTO.

Throughout the series, Mitsuki and Sarada's feelings for Boruto are often compared with one another. Mitsuki at times sees Sarada's feelings for Boruto as being more legitimate because she's not a synthetic human. However, Sarada recognizes that Mitsuki has the SAME type of feelings for Boruto that she has. Therefore, whenever you talk about the intensity of Sarada's feelings for Boruto or the romantic investment of Sarada's investment in Boruto that is directly mirrored by Mistuki.

In a way, the question is, will Boruto end up with Sarada or Mitsuki? I'd argue that if Boruto is immortal that he will end up with both of them at different times. He'll end up with Sarada first and live out the duration of her human life with her, and then live out the rest of eternity with Mistuki (who is likely also immortal).

Sumire and Eida are romantic interests in additional to Sarada and Mitsuki, but they are like tag-alongs who really can't lay claim to Boruto. Had it not been for Omnipotence, they may have had the chance to build report with him and get to know him better. However, now that he lives his life in the shadows, I believe that will be far too impractical. I think for that reason Sumire and Eida will only ever be able to love the ideal of Boruto and vice versa.

XO Kitty S2 Poorly Written

I tuned into XO Kitty to get away from the dumpster fire that is 2025 American politics.

The direction of the show became evident in episode 4, and I prayed that it would not happen.

Kitty x Yuri - Can I even say more... Like what a disappointment. It had everything it needed to be the perfect romance. It had all the ammunition and it literally never pulled the trigger. It perfectly set itself up, and then it tossed the plot into the trashcan. If you hoped that it it would redeem itself, it confirmed verbally that it simply would not.

Kitty x Dae - Their relationship is beyond over. They are the epitome of two healthy exes, but at least they are nice to each other. They support each other. They seem like they are genuinely friends with one another but not overly friendly. If anything, they are friendly acquaintances. Therefore, there really is no hope for this relationship either.

Yuri x Juliana - Is this even a relationship? I mean like seriously. You can't even root for this relationship, because this entire relationship is about Kitty. Every conversation these two have is about Kitty except for one. Their relationship revolves around Kitty, and you never get a sense for why these two even like each other. I will say that they possess a natural chemistry for one another which is a plus, but they don't have a convincing story line, because once again, all they talk about is KITTY.

Kitty x Praveena - It took me two episodes to even pick up on the fact that these two were even trying to date each other. They have zero chemistry and don't even like each other. It would kind of make sense for them to be friends, because Praveena is Kitty's beard to hide from Yuri and Juliana, but it makes zero sense for Praveen to try to date Kitty. Its completely out of alignment with the character that the writers are trying to portray Praveena as having.

Min Ho x Kitty - This is the one I was dreading. This is where the show was so obviously going all along. It's the ultimate anime trope and it's freaking trash. Why have a girl be treated right when she could be treated like garbage? Why have a girl date one of three people: Yuri, Dae, or Praveena who is really nice to her when she can date someone like Min Ho who derives pleasure from being mean to her. Now, some of you are like... well, Min Ho has a soft side, Min Ho can be nice. Below Bare Minimum Low Effort. Do not settle. Min Ho's emotions are like a pendulum. When Kitty rejected him on the plane, he negged her. Those toxic qualities don't dissipate over the course of a relationship. They grow and expand. Margot and Lara Jean are dating amazing men. Kitty has amazing friends, so why the writers decided that in 2025, partnering Kitty with the most toxic character was the best was to go is absolutely ridiculous.

Also, let's circle back to Kitty x Yuri hand's down most chemistry by miles. The pair together naturally.

Boruto Make the 1st Move

If Boruto and Mitsuki end up together as end game, I think Boruto will be the one to make the first move.

Boruto already knows how Mitsuki feels about him.

However, Mitsuki doesn't see his feelings for Boruto as legitimate because he still questions the validity of his existence as an artificial human.

Therefore, if Boruto wants to be with Mitsuki, then Boruto is going to have to be the one to initiate.
