she was mostly posting 1-2 times a month- so nothing that consistent. And nothing she had posted was from after the wedding. I’m not sure if she planned to share as much post the wedding videos? Probably depends on what else is going on - and how easily she can keep their location safe- people are - nuts.
What happend to Jana? Wasn't she posting video's every week? It's been a month since her last video

So the reality is Carlin totally has a disability even if she didn't call her seizures that; many of the girls have the blood clotting disorder - I think with the boys its less talked about as they are less active on social media, and likely would not share if they were experiencing something.
the friend who made that cute ofrenda is one of the few people who i can yap about fundie shit with, but she wasn't familiar with the Bates. so I gave her a rundown and her first question was honestly something I've thought about before lol:

I went and looked at her story/post- I think what she is calling “ectopic” isnt actually that- I don’t think and ectopic pregnancy can make it to 17 weeks, I think it’s high risk and odds of it being her last pregnancy is high. She has also had SO many miscarriages and hard pregnancy’s. I’ll be doing a bit more digging.
huge trigger warnings:

Now I don't follow this family very closely at all, I only know of them because of fundie snark communities but holy shit...........
This is just so sad and horrifying. Ectopic pregnancies are not viable 100% of the time, and they are the leading cause of death for women in the first trimester.
I don't know these people enough to know of this is something they'd lie about, but genuinely I hope they are, otherwise this mother might as well be taking her own life and choosing to leave her remaining kids motherless. I will just never, never understand this mindset.

so- here is my guess- they have actually been engaged longer, but they wanted to let Jana get married first. Much like was discussed here a few weeks ago.
I found Maddie and Jadon's wedding website. October 3rd is the real date. Their website is now locked with a password

I have actually only heard positive stories about cbt but I have not had it myself.
is cbt universally bad for everybody, or are there people who actually find it useful?

Some things of note from the exclusive
They did date briefly in 2021 around the time Hannah and Jeremiah were courting but, they broke things off
They reconnected earlier this year and got engaged June 15th
They had a FIRST DANCE, a Duggar first

yes the power of an eldest daughter- with a twin- who likely has her back on this. Also surprised Laura was not in the wedding party… and based on Jill’s instagram I’m confident she was there.

this aged beautifully
Y'all can pry the Jana Duggar/Stephen Wissmann courtship out of my cold dead hands and I probably still wouldn't let go

this is def. My latest fundi obsession- what is happening, it’s none of my business at all but omg I’m like is it conspiracy theory? Is it cult? Is it so many things?!
Jill Posted a Photo of Phillip
Unsure if this is new or old.

if the Jan is true likely you’re right it will be December babies- my dr would not let me go past 38 weeks with my twins. And a very high percentage of twins are born between 35-38 weeks.
Jed and Katey are expecting TWIN GIRLS!!*
*the capitals are my shock not my excitement at Jed Duggar of all people having Twin Daughters

my twins turn 1 today
y’all this has nothing to do with fundies, but my twins turned one today. And I’m so happy sad, parenting is a trip. But today I feel like we are doing a good job. We have five kids and I think they all feel loved and supported and they have more than everything they need. We are going to make it in this crazy overwhelming world of fire and brimstone.

i ask this in 100% good faith as sometimes who's just read over Trump's 2025 manifesto: what the fuck are we supposed to do
like i know the big call is to not vote for Biden or Trump and trust me I do not want to vote for Joe, but the manifesto is going after the rights of women, pregnant people, every type of person under the LGBTQ umbrella, POC, and in a political climate where Roe v. Wade was overturned i feel like it's completely possible that he'd be able to achieve at least some of that so
is there a 3rd party candidate I don't know about?? or what is the plan here bc tbh as a queer person and someone who was planning to be pregnant in the next year I'm scared as hell like are we really just not voting? It's 7 months out and I feel like no one is agreeing on what to do

look- she wanted to wear the wedding dress twice ok?! 🤣🤪😅🫣

Ben's little brother got married. If you go to her Instagram, you'll see that in October 2023 her post was about her going to the homecoming dance with Ethan. Someone better at sleuthing will probably be able to figure it out, but I can't tell if she is married prior to graduating high school.

@countingonmama
You’re totally saying what I feel - I think some parents are so full of doubt they swing all the way backwards into so sure of themselves- (to make it fundie Karissa Collins much?). Parenting is SO HARD mommy groups can be gold sometimes but more often they are great ways to give yourself an ulcer and anxiety.
i am not a mom but my friend is and she's in a fairly large fb mom group. and as fb mom group members do they say some crazy shit sometimes so everyone once and a while she'll send me a screenshot today it was something about how paper plates and sugar cause cancer and if you let your kid use/eat either you shouldn't be sad if they develop a terminal childhood illness and like
do y'all think some people become moms just to have a ledge from which they can look down on people lol? like before kids they had no reason for anyone to listen to them, no particular expertise, nothing that made them particularly unique, so being a mother makes them feel like they finally have some knowledge other people might not have and that makes it ok for them to be harsh judges of other families' choices?
bc god whether it's food or toys or screen time or clothes or school or whatever, the moms that are judgemental are just fuckin ruthless for no reason.
