On this day... 18 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights. 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning tomorrow. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift. 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol. 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift of saving lives. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted. “Think before you speak. Read before you think.”-Fran Lebowitz 📚 I was tagged by my sis, @sodrewrites to do the #describeyourreadinglife tag, so here goes: . . How do you choose what book to read? I go through seasons with what type of book I want to read. Right now, I’m in my murder mystery stage. . . Do you buy your books online? For the most part, yes, but I still love going to a good bookstore. I’m still old school. I like to feel the pages too. . . Do you finish a book before you start another? Ha! That’s funny. . . When do you mostly read? I mostly read on the train to and from work and when I can find a quiet moment before I fall asleep at night. . . Favorite genre: that’s a hard one. I would say street lit, murder mystery, romance and self help (I have to listen to those on audio book) 🤷🏽‍♀️ . . Favorite author: J. California Cooper . . Do you lend books: I used to but people forget they have them.... . . Do you read more than two books at once: nope. Two is my max. It’s usually a novel and a self help . . Do your friends read? Yeah. We’re all about this book life. . . How long does it take you to finish a book? It depends. I’ve finished books in a few hours and I’m reading one now thats been about 6 months and I’m not even half way through. (Don’t judge me) Welp, that’s it for me. I hope you enjoyed my answers.
