Heyyyyyyyyyyy, it’s me again. Could you please write a fic about halfhypo Temesia again? This time about Merlin, Lucius, Atalanta, and Valen witnessing her go berserk after Atalanta is nearly killed?
No pressure.
N/A: YES! And I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to this request.
But I'm getting back on track! And I want to write a lot more stories with more characters.
Some of Merlin's abilities that I used in this story were the result of my imagination and my canons related to my Merlin (Alucia).
And does anyone know the person who made this art? I would like to credit they for this beautiful work.
Temesia's shark:
Part 1
Part 2
Tumblr media
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
It had been a month since what happened with Tasi and Harak. Temesia was as absorbed and silent as usual, Merlin and Lucius noticed her subtle change, but overlooked it, due to the events in the duchy, where she had to appear to provide support.
Temesia wanted to temporarily get away from those thoughts, so she agreed to go to the duchy (not that she wouldn't accept, anyway, that was her job). To her surprise, Atalanta was on her way too, only Dura knows what that woman wanted in the duchy, and Temesia honestly didn't care anymore about whatever Atalanta was doing, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.
Now she found herself on patrol with Merlin, Lucius, Atalanta and Valen (who was just trying to get away from work). It turns out that, once again, there have been attacks by stone golems in the villages around Holystone. Temesia's keen sense of smell was alarmed by the direction they were heading, certain that there would be an enemy on their path.
β€” I feel like we've been here before... β€” Hammie said as he looked around.
β€” We were on this road the last time there were attacks, if I'm not mistaken, it was here that we found Marilee. β€” Valen replied.
β€” I know, but... Something's wrong...
β€” You're right, Hammie. There's something wrong with this road. It feels like we're going around in circles. β€” Merlin intervened.
β€” Now that you mention it, it actually seems like we've been here a couple of times. β€” Lucius approached the edge of the road, peering through the trees. β€” Magister, what does this mean?
β€” Is someone bewitching us? β€” Atalanta took a map out of her bag and was then surprised by what she saw. β€” What the hell!? What does that mean? Look!
Valen, Lucius and the Magister approached, the map Atalanta was holding originally had an almost exact cartography of the region they were patrolling, but now there was only a circle. A perfect circle, without any markings of relief or land limits, Atalanta threw it to the ground when she felt the leaf heat up and burn in a blue fire.
Temesia watched everything from afar, a little shaken by what she was feeling. For her, the ground shook slightly, as if a rather solid opponent was getting closer and closer. When the group least expected it, a blast of fire was launched towards them.Their salvation was Lucius's quick reflexes and his powerful shield, Temesia was left open-mouthed and physically prepared herself for what was to come: A golem even larger than the ones that had been defeated last time, with a compartment in its mouth that made it spew blue flames.
Valen and the Magister got into attack position, Lucius got in front of the group to protect them with his shield and Atalanta got a considerable distance away with her crossbow. Even with their position set, they were no match for that thing, if only Temesia was alone, she could deal with it with her hypogeum side. The golem aimed towards the group again and Lucius stood firm with his shield, but even he knew he couldn't hold out for long.
Once the calls stopped, they regrouped in a blind field so the golem wouldn't see them. Merlin and Hammie were muttering something while Valen and Lucius waited for Merlin's directions. Atalanta was where her eyes could see her, and that alone made her feel calmer, everyone was in a safe place, for now...
β€” Ooh, Magister, what are we going to do? β€” Chippy looked at the golem among the foliage.
β€” That thing is different from other golems. β€” Atalanta complained.
β€” Yes, that golem is not the guardians we faced last time. It was made using the same parts, but its difference is that it is completely enchanted, the gears don't even work straight away.
Merlin pointed at the creature, it walked with a limp, had difficulty moving one of its arms and its attack mechanism did not move in other directions. It was full of locks, but it was still a deadly thing that could easily crush them.
β€” Is there any way to break the spell? β€” Valen whispered, the golem was nearby.
β€” Maybe with a counter spell, but I can't guarantee that, I need him to stay still for that, but he doesn't stop for a single second! If I get closer, he will notice my presence and try to attack me.
β€” He needs to be restrained, but how? There's no way to tie him down with a rope, is there? β€” Lucius analyzed the scene, until Merlin and Hammie looked at him with a slightly creepy smile. β€” Is there any way we can do this?
β€” Sure! Well, almost that... I'll try to freeze him for a few seconds, until the Magistrate can get close enough to cast the counter spell. My magic isn't that strong and he's pretty heavy, so we can't take too long. β€” Hammie paused and then looked at Temesia. β€” What will we do in the field, Temesia?
To sum it up in a few words: they would run, run if their lives depended on it, because they really did. Atalanta, Temesia and Valen would lure the golem away from the road, Lucius would provide protection with his shield and Hammie would try to hold it back. Everything was planned and now all they had left was to beg Dura to make everything work out.
The golem had considerably slow steps, but its attacks were fast, it was too annoying to have to constantly dodge the attacks. When he was far enough away from the road, Hammie tried to hold him back with a freezing spell, but before that could happen the golem fired one last shot towards Atalanta, who couldn't dodge in time. She was thrown away, with some burns and wounds caused by the boulders on the ground.
Temesia heard his scream and at the same moment felt the smell of blood intoxicate the air. Her senses were heightened, her hypogeal part desperate to reveal itself, she was furious and in internal torture to maintain appearance. Her gills appeared and disappeared at the same time, her senses mixed to the point where she couldn't tell which one was human or shark.
What came next she can't remember, it was all a blur. As Lucius explained, Merlin managed to undo the spell and the golem fell, after which they quickly went to help Atalanta who was badly injured. When it came to Temesia, he just kept quiet and strangely everyone seemed a little more distant from her after what happened.
But honestly, at this point the only thing that mattered to her was Atalanta. As soon as he found out which wing of the infirmary she was in, he ran to check on her condition. Luckily, Hammie's potions lessened the damage, but she was still injured and needed more care than the quick potions. Temesia looked sideways, admiring the red-haired woman sitting on the endermary's bed.
β€” Atalanta?
β€” Temesia! β€” Atalanta stood up and hugged the blonde. β€” How are you? I heard you freaked out in the fight, that's not very normal for you.
β€” I... I'm okay, but you? Look at you, your arm is bandaged... I'm so relieved you're okay. β€” Temesia touched her cheek, brushing a strand of hair out of her eyes.
β€” Do you still care about me like that? You're not that different from last time. β€” Atalanta came closer, touching her forehead to hers, so close.
β€” I think so...
Now all that mattered to Temesia was that Atalanta was fine. What was strange about the others was a problem for later.
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
A/N: Okay, this isn't even close to what I wanted to write, but it's the best we've got for someone who's writing this on the sly during work hours.
The (somewhat obvious) mystery remains in the air about what happened to Temesia during Atalanta's blackout.

Fay being a clone of her brother is so cute lol

Sleep-Over at Marilee's place. Fay, Marilee and Atalanta. xD My most colourful picture yet! xD
Temesia was really close to coming as well, but she ended up being too intimidated by the combined power of these extroverted and loud kids. xD

Bryon Γ— GN! Reader
Tumblr media
A/N: It's been a while, hasn't it? I had this story on hold for a while, but I decided to resume writing, I miss this blog πŸ’”
But hey! I'm still accepting requests, I have to update the character list since we have new characters, even more now that the new season is coming!
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
You were walking through the woods, you had found a new book, imported from the Lightbearer Empire! You could hardly believe that you had this treasure in your hands, a book about the fauna and flora of the region. You were, what many would say, a researcher, although you didn't call yourself that.
Through the trees, you saw a clearing, with a fallen log. It was such a perfect place that you even considered the possibility of it being fake, but it didn't matter, you just wanted to read your book in peace.
As you passed through the woods, you noticed that, to your surprise, there was someone else there. You recognized him immediately: Bryon. Lorsan and Arden's apprentice. He was facing away, with the usual bandage covering his eyes and his head raised towards the top of a tree. He slowly turns to you, still and deathly silent as you had heard him to be.
β€” Sorry! I didn't know there was anyone here. β€” You grabbed your book and prepared to read it.
β€” Y/N? It's okay, I heard you coming in the distance... β€” Bryon said quickly, and then fell silent, waiting for you to say something in his place. β€” I don't mind if you stay here.
β€” I won't make any noise, I promise!
β€” I thank.
Even though it wasn't the best interaction, you were thankful that Bryon didn't push you away. You sat down on the log and began your long-awaited reading. The first ten pages were easy to read, but from the twentieth onwards Bryon's silent presence began to weigh on your mind.
There was a person next to you so deathly silent that you could simply forget he was there, but his mysterious presence prevented that effect from happening. Even without wanting to, Bryon attracted a lot of attention, whether because of his attractive appearance and air of mystery, because he was blind or because he was alone most of the time. He was intriguing even without realizing it.
From the moment you arrived, Bryon kept raising his head high, as if he was trying to look for something or feel something from the heavens. You wanted to close your book and go up to him and ask him what the hell he was doing, but it was none of your business, and you didn't want to bother him.
β€” Curious... β€” He muttered.
Oh, screw it, now it was your business and you wanted to know what he was doing.
β€” Bryon, would it be rude if I asked what you're doing? β€” You closed your book, but remained seated in the same place.
β€” I was training, I was curious about the way the air around you moves. It's restless, but it doesn't even make a whiff of discomfort, it sounds more like curiosity. β€” He spoke briefly, without turning to you.
β€” Well, you're not wrong, I was curious. You've been standing in the same place for half an hour without doing anything, well... That's what I thought. I was wrong.
β€” It's okay... I'm grateful you didn't talk to me during that period, locating that kind of air requires meticulous concentration. I've been trying for hours to locate the smallest possible noise among the rustling of the leaves.
β€” And did you succeed?
β€” Let's just say yes, it wasn't what I expected. But you were so minutely quiet that it almost went unnoticed.
β€” And is that a good thing?
β€” Perhaps...
Bryon extends his right arm away from his body and then a large bird glides down from the trees and lands on his arm. The bird could only be Elona, she was one of his favorite species of birds. He wanted to get even closer to Bryon so you could pet the bird.
β€” What a beautiful bird. I love watching them fly north, the whole passage is close to home. It's stunning.
β€” This is Elona, I let her go get some air on the wings.
A silence once again hung over you, you didn't know how to continue the conversation and Bryon was certainly in the same situation.
β€” Hm, I think I'll be going now...
β€” Oh, right...
To your surprise, Bryon's tone sounded more dejected than usual. You hadn't realized it yet, but anyone (Lorsan or Arden) would have known that Bryon was trying to get close to you. To be honest, Bryon was putting in more vocal effort than usual to try this, reasons? He heard about your imported book and wanted to know more about its contents.
Since there were no versions of the book adapted for him yet, it crossed Bryon's mind that it would be a good idea to get closer to you, after all, you were a person dear to Arden. And you, unlike Lorsan, knew how important a quiet environment was for him, and that made him feel more comfortable in your presence.
β€” Y/N, can we meet here again? β€” He called you.
β€” Hm? Yes, but why?
β€” Your book, I-I would like you to read it with me... β€” Bryon stumbled over his words, a little too nervous to get them out.
β€” Oh, of course! I'll be happy to read with you. Can it be tomorrow at the same time?
β€” Yes, it can be.
He gave one of his rare shy smiles. You noticed a small blush appear on his face and then immediately disappear. He says goodbye to you and disappears into the trees with Elona flying around him.
You leave the clearing on the opposite side and return to the trail that led you to the village with a smile on your face, after all, you had finally found someone to share your interests with.
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
A/N: This was shorter than I thought it would be, and yes, Bryon was once canonically blind, but they removed that from his canon. But screw the game's character tales, Bryon is blind in every single story I work on.

Eironn Headcanon
Well, it's autumn here where I live, and I got to thinking... "Eironn is a kind of 'deer man', right?".
Now I'm thinking how funny it would be if his horns fell off during the winter, like real-life deer do.
And the funniest thing for me now is imagining how terrified Lorsan would be to see Eironn holding his own horns that had fallen from his forehead.
Eironn would be like, "Dude, what's up?" And Lorsan would be like "FOR THE LOVE OF MISARTE, WHO DID THIS TO YOU?!" Bryon just listens in the background and thinks how stupid Lorsan is.

Eironn, I love him!!!!
do you have any hcs for eironn x reader? or anything in general? i love him sm πŸ™πŸ’–
Eironn is very graceful and gentlemanly when it comes to romance. Though this is very much not intentional. Most of his demeanour comes from genuine care and love, and only a small part of it is from how he was raised. He’s like a knight, sweeping off your feet. Dude is so sweet he gives you and everyone else cavities.Β
That being said, Poor deer boy has no idea what he’s doing.Β
Like so little idea.Β
For your first date as a couple, he has no idea what to do.Β  He goes to look for advice, and is unfortunately inundated with way too much. Lorsan suggests poetry, Lyca suggests star gazing, while Florabelle told him of a wonderful trail she sometimes took the kids to. Granny Dahnie suggests cooking and traditional courting practices. Damien’s ideas of gifts mostly involved little contraptions, but Parisa’s ideas was flowers. Bryon and Arden gave very little advice other than just β€˜be yourself’.Β
Eironn, with this massive amount of advice and no idea how to sort them all, decided to just combine them into a giant ball and see what happened.Β
Your date ended up being a surprinsgly nice day of walking with Eironn around the woods on the trail, having a picnic of Eironn’s slightly burnt meal, and ending with him against the backdrop of stars, a bouquet of flowers and a little wooden figurine in your arms. He stands and starts reading what was his clumsy but sincere attempt at a wilder sonnet about how much he cares about you from a crumbled piece of paper.Β
He cares, a lot, but he does need to learn a few things. Learn together with him.Β

Oh, how I miss having free time to write.
I hate studying this damn technical course in an area that doesn't even interest me.
But I like my job, it's funny having to explain to people that they can't return fertilized chicken eggs bought online.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just tired of not having time to be in one of my refuges.

BROOOOOOOOO! I just read the story for my request (half Hyposhark Temesia) and it’s GREAT! But please give them a happy ending.😭
I’ll sell my soul if I have to.
I'm not much of a writer of happy endings, but I'll try this one!!!
By the way, people who like reading these stories, feel free to send your headcanons, your not very well known ships, your oc's, etc. I will write as long as they are within the rules! 🩡
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
There was nothing she could do, she didn't feel angry at Merlin for trapping him in the bottle, she understood that her father was dangerous. But she wished, just for a moment, that he were free.
β€” Oh, but look at this. β€” A soft, almost ethereal voice sounded behind Temesia. She jumped in fright, eliciting a chuckle from the mysterious figure. β€” I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you.
Temesia was surprised to see the figure behind her: With a large pair of blue wings that sparkled like crystals, pink hair and two lilac antennae growing from her forehead. A beautiful creature, who maintained a serene gaze at all times. "So this was the fairy Merlin was talking about?" Temesia thought. It was so surreal, that she even forgot to hide her hypogeal part.
β€” My name is Tasi, and you are Temesia, right? How curious, I've never seen a hybrid... A hybrid hypogeum. β€” The fairy flew around Temesia, analyzing her.
β€” I....
β€” I know why you're here. I'm sorry, you know I can't let him go, he almost destroyed this place.
β€” I know that... I just wanted to stay with him for a little while, at least for a day.
β€” Well, that I can do!
β€” You can?
β€” But of course! I'm the fairy of dreamland, I can enter people's dreams. I can make you enter his dream too, you just have to sleep...
Temesia's vision blurred, an unnatural drowsiness knocking her to the ground. When he woke up, he was in a completely different place, it seemed to be the same forest, but surrounded by salt water. She stood up and floated in the water trying to get her bearings. Tasi disappeared, and a strange force pushed her back, following her eyes to the current that ran over her, she saw Harak desperately tearing branches and leaves from the tree.
β€” Dad? β€” Temesia took a short boost and floated away from the ground.
Harak's ears twitched and he abruptly stopped eating. His gills twitched, there was a different smell, new and yet so familiar. He turned his head from side to side until he stopped at a point just below, close to the ground. It couldn't be anyone other than the one he missed so much, the golden hair and purple eyes didn't let him be fooled. With a wide smile, he swam over and struck her like an arrow, in a strong and lasting hug.
β€” I missed you so much my little bull shark.
β€” Dad!
Anyone who knew Temesia from the ground would never be capable of such a sensitive side as this. Only Harak (and on some occasions Atalanta) knew this fragile side of her. Even though it was a dream, everything seemed so real, the hug was still as she remembered, the smell and even the voice.
β€” How did you end up here? Did those bastards lock you up here too?! β€” Harak walked away, a little aggressively.
β€” No no, they... They don't know that, I... Tasi made me fall asleep so I could spend some time with you...
β€” Just that? Hm, anyway, I still shouldn't trust them.
β€” They're not bad people. I'm also half human, remember?
β€” Sorry... Where have you been all this time? β€” Harak's feet touched the ground, he lowered himself gently until he was sitting. Temesia sat down next to him soon after.
β€” I live among the humans of Holistone, when you disappeared, I was lost, I found myself after a long time. A lot has happened since then... β€” she placed her hand on her chest, in the same place where the scar over her heart was.
β€” I imagine, I felt there was something different about you... You look more human than shark.
β€” I can't be a shark around them, it's too risky... Why did you abandon me?
β€” Abandon you?! No, I would never do that. I know I disappeared, but... β€” Harak put his hand to his forehead, grimacing as if something hurt. β€” I can't remember why.
β€” Me neither... I just remember waking up at the gates of Holistone.I can remember everything before the day you disappeared, but during the day it happened... Oh, I don't know, this is all very strange...
Now that she stopped to think about it, it was all very strange indeed. Taking into account everything that had been happening in Esperia lately, could it be possible that Harak's disappearance had been premeditated by another... hypogeum? She didn't want to worry about being underwater, she just wanted to enjoy the moment before her time in the dream world ended. Looking up, she saw a tuna swimming quickly, with a defiant smile, she propels herself up with her legs and swims towards it.
β€” Who catches it first gets the tuna! β€” She provoked the challenge.
β€” Oh, clever girl! I'll get there first!
Harak launched himself right after her, gaining momentum faster and overtaking her in seconds. The two were leading the way, although they had no real interest in the poor tuna, they would go all the way just to have a little fun. Temesia grabbed onto one of the submerged palm trees and pulled herself up until she caught the tuna and held it in her grip. This brought back such vivid memories of her childhood, it caused a rare smile to escape her lips, Harak followed with a proud smile that she had caught the prey. They returned to the lawn, sat across from each other, sharing the tuna she had caught.
β€” I wish this day would never end. It's a this is just a dream. β€” Harak said.
β€” Ah, yes, a dream... β€” Temesia's smile quickly faded as she remembered where she really was.
β€” Temesia, don't be like that...
β€” I miss you... β€” A few small tears formed in Temesia's eyes, not that him could see them, after all she was in the water.
β€” I know, me too... I can't be free. Other people will never let us be free just because we are who we are, being as we are now is better than if one of us were actually dead.
Harak explained, it was something a little different from his usual, yet Temesia had to admit he was right. They would never leave them alone, they never will, and she doesn't blame them for trying to protect themselves. Before she could respond, she woke up startled, shaking and confused. She wasn't on the island, she was in her room, with the armor in the same place she had left it before leaving. She ran her hands through her hair and noticed that it was still dry and silky, as if it had never touched the saltwater. However, his sense of smell sharpened when he caught the scent of tuna on her breath. Wait... shouldn't that have been a dream?

I know this seems like a bit of a weird request, but could you write a fic where Temesia and Harak are father and daughter? My reasoning for this unexpected family duo is because of Temesia’s weirdly purple eyes and the fact they both have just the right shade of blonde hair. You could write them reuniting or spending time with each other after they’ve reunited.
If you need more info on how to write them, just search up β€œHarak is Temesia’s dad pipeline” in my account.
This is quite funny actually, Tasi is now her mother lol.
I read your pipeline and I honestly found the whole nature you gave to Temesia and her relationship with Harak very interesting. Even more so, in real life, baby sharks don't know their father, so Temesia would be an exception.
β”€β”€β”€β”€β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”„β”„β•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ•Œβ”„β”„β”ˆβ”ˆβ”ˆβ”€β”€β”€β”€
The last few months had been extremely emotionally draining for Temesia. Her drama with Atalanta and the sacred stone were something that made her think a little, everything became even more distressing when she learned of Merlin's last adventure in Rustyport. It turns out that they had faced a gluttonous "hyposhark" on an island and trapped it in a giant glass bottle. That sank her heart, for she knew exactly who they were talking about, and she could not intervene or go against it, for he was - above all, a hypogean. Sitting at a table in a tavern recommended by Valen, Temesia sat still listening to the entire adventure, keeping her hard gaze a little longer than normal.
β€” Hey, Temesia? Are you okay? You look tense. β€” Merlin caught her eye.
β€” Hm, yeah, I'm fine. β€” she lied.
β€” Temesia, you look a little pale. β€” Lucius tried to touch her hand, but she immediately pulled away.
β€” I'm fine, I just need to get out for a bit.
This was one of the few occasions she lied, Temesia hated it, but when it came to her true nature she simply couldn't tell the truth. She stood up and left the table with a tired sigh, everyone else showed their concern but didn't insist that she stay there. Temesia went looking for her faithful mare, she would keep her in the stable, it would be impossible to take her where she was going. The mare knew well what Temesia was planning, she rested her long snout on the warrior's face showing support. In response, the warrior stroked the mare's muzzle - and would put some fruit mixed in with the hay in the mare's feeder as soon as they reached the cavalry stable.
Once she had stabled her mare and ensured the feed trough was full, Temesia set off for home, leaving her armor on the rack in her room. Waiting for night to fall to cross the gates of Holistone without raising suspicion, although he highly doubted that someone hooded would not attract attention. In any case, her main goal at the moment would be to reach the coast and cross the ocean. That was her biggest secret, Temesia wasn't human, not completely. Harak was her father, she remembers wonderful moments in her childhood with his company, however they had drifted apart and consequently lost contact, now that she knew where he was (in theory) she would go after him.
After spending half the night walking up a hill that overlooked the sea, she threw off her cloak, throwing it into the air so that it would be carried away by the wind. After long years away from the ocean, content only with the fresh water of the rivers near Holistone, she threw herself off the hill. The wind embraced her before the icy water of the night enveloped her body after she fell like a bullet fired from above. Anyone who saw her as she was would never recognize her as Temesia, or anything but the devoted soldier of Dura. A long yellowish tail grew from the region of her neck, gills appeared allowing her to breathe more easily.
The smell of salt and the vastness comforted his anguished heart, sweet memories flooded his mind and gave him fuel to swim for miles in the darkness. She didn't know how long she had swum for, probably days if she took into account that she had taken two breaks to rest her muscles and replenish her energy to face the water, that didn't matter at the moment, She had a feeling she had found the island where Merlin had imprisoned Harak.
It was a magnificent place, it seemed to have been taken from a dream, with chattering flowers and curious crabs. It was different from all the islands she had seen when he was still in contact with her father. His senses sharpened to find the hyposhark, it was far away, on the other side of the island and there was no way to reach it by going around the water. His way was to go by land, climb some rocky walls and in the end find himself faced with another long walk to a cave where Harak's prison would possibly be. It was a space surrounded by thick, damp vegetation, with shallow, insignificant water channels to wash your feet. The place was inhabited by no oneβ€”as far as she knew, she had heard Merlin mention something about fairies, but had paid no attention to itβ€”apparently its only inhabitant was Harak. As soon as she entered the cave, she saw a faint glow above shining piles of gold, which to her were of no value whatsoever. The giant bottle was there, with Harak asleep and trapped inside, he didn't look injured and much less drained, he seemed to be enjoying a specific kind of peace that only a hypogeum could enjoy.
β€” Dad? β€” Temesia approached the bottle-prison, touching her palm to the barrier, hoping that Harak would respond to her in some way. β€” Can you hear me?
Yes, he could hear him, he knew she was there. But he was under a spell and couldn't wake up, it wasn't exactly death, though he couldn't act like a partially alive creature. He wanted so much to be able to answer her, it had been so long since he had seen her, he had no idea how much she had changed. Temesia thought about breaking the bottle, hoping that it would free him, but she didn't. She just rested her forehead against the barrier and let a shy tear run down the corner of her nose.
