"My friends keep talking about TF2 and I don't know what it is or how to get into it or where to start, help" well I'm here to tell you that it's super easy and won't take you more than maybe thirty minutes.

Watch the Meet the Team videos. They are nine of them and they're each only a minute or two long. Medic's is the longest at four minutes. They'll tell you basically everything you need to know about that character.

Watch Expiration Date. It's fifteen minutes and will basically tell you how they all interact with each other.

That's it. Now you know everything you need to know to understand the vast majority of TF2 fanworks. That's all it really takes. For extra credit though...

Read the comics. There are six issues (quiet sobbing) and you can read them on the site for free. There are also comics for certain updates which are fun and great! All the comics are great and tell you a lot about the characters.

Play the game. It's free! This is probably the hardest step though if you're not good at this kind of thing. You don't have to play it though to understand most of what goes on in TF2 stuff, but it does help.

Watch the other movies they made for updates, like End of the Line (technically this is a community made movie) or Jungle Inferno.

Watch Emesis Blue if you want to understand all the weird creepy fanart with a BLU Medic floating around. It's a fanmade full-length horror/surrealist movie and it's kind of its own thing compared to the rest of this. It's good though.

You can also read each class's Voice Responses on the tf2wiki to get more of a sense of what they're like! A lot of little details about them are in in-game dialogue.

Oouugghhh, gueess who finished their homework assiignment…. This guy!!! Smiles big with too many teeth I am normal. I do not regret all the time I spent (I may spend more time to fix a fewwww small details….) I am so ready for the summer oh my balls………. I still have a few projects and papers to wrap up here for classes, I will pull through,,, probably…. It’s been tough ngl I feel like I JUST fell into the swing of things and now it’s ova, but that’s okay I’ll adapt

I swear to god every single one of my classmates better give me a standing ovation and kiss me on my beautiful beautiful lips when I present this in critique. I swear to god………. There better be crying…. Kidding I’m not that full of myself but I’m excited to hear what my graphics prof will say teehee…. I will probably print a physical copy of this (whether or not it will be good quality paper idk).

Also I got my portrait taken today on a silver wet plate (iirc), suuupperrr old form of photography. An artist traveled to my school and held a gallery + talk yesterday and I enjoyed it very much, I typically don’t go up on Fridays because I don’t have classes but I went with a friend to get out portraits taken and then watched the washout process of the plates!! Photography is crazy I don’t understand it. The only thing I’m kind of like dissapointed by is I’m typically not bothered by my skin or acne, but this type of photograph catches stuff SUPER WELL, like it’s kind of crazy, my friend doesn’t really have prominent freckles but on the photo they look way darker than usual. Same thing happened with my dry skin and acne, I don’t mind it too bad, but I was caught off guard a little bit to be honest lol. (Picture below w/my face cut off obviously…. I just wanted to show off my dress because it’s my prized Gunne Sax dress and like the only dress I will actually wear). Me and my two friends were the only ones who dressed up?? No one else did, which was kind of surprising, because this type of photo is rare to get just cause no one really takes them anymore or gets the equipment for it. Okay I’m done rambling tbh I am just procrastinating sleeping,, augh whatever goodnight…. I always post before I sleep…

Made a little fanfic about how Heavy and Medic's first interaction in my TF2 x Beastars AU went down.

If you don't know what Beastars is, I recommend watching at least a little of the anime to get a feel for it (tho' some of the things I mention in the fic will reference certain things that's shown in season 2, so be warned ig). It's on Netflix, but you can also just pirate it if you don't have a subscription. You didn't hear it from me tho' :)

Discord has introduced microtransactions to make only specific users hear sound effects. Skype is back as a livestreaming platform. X is now marketing “twitter” as a paid-only private area to post in on X. There are clouds gathering above the field now. There’s an ache in your tooth when you eat something sweet, sharp and stabbing, but you put it off. The wind makes the puddles in the mud ripple after it rains. When you look out, you like to pretend they are deeper, deep enough to drown in. You wonder if you’d still be able to see just how big the cloud-heavy sky is as you fall beneath the surface. You wonder if you’d hear the first drops of rain. You wonder how the wind always seems to find you out there. The field is large, and it is cold outside. Come inside now. It’s getting late.
