What the FUCK, Ouran Host Club?!

So I decided to rewatch the anime Ouran High School Host Club yesterday, except I decided to watch dub instead of sub. I also have perfect pitch. It’s relevant to the story I swear. My brother and I just pulled it up, switched the audio, and the intro starts playing. And suddenly everything is wrong with the world. He obviously didn’t understand why I was so pissed all of a sudden. “The intro’s wrong,” I say. “It started on the wrong note.”

He doesn’t believe me. I make him play the intro 4 or 5 times. It’s still wrong. Finally, I make him switch the audio back to Japanese. Everything is right with the world.

The Japanese intro starts playing at a G4, or the G right above middle C. The English intro starts at an A4, or the A right above middle C.

I’m sorry for ruining your anime experience but if I have to know this so do you.

I accidentally forgot to read the title, read the first prompt, got extremely confused and concerned, went back to read the title, spent about a minute comprehending my stupidity, then smushed my face into a pillow. I am very disappointed in myself.
