Can you ever see yourself going back to California? Do you think Sebastian would go with you? You guys haven’t been apart since you met, outside of work, travel, right?

These are very heavy questions for NYE. I think returning to California at some point, with Karen, is very possible. I won't pretend to assume where Sebastian's thoughts are on that-- if you've listened to his goals for the next little bit there is a lot of travel and some things that are up in the air, things that could be accomplished in many places. But yes, we're a bit of a team and that is what works for us right now.

Sebastian: Oh yeah. I think she did do the museum event. She is doing tonight as a favor, it's normally way too small of a thing. For Dad's Corporate Ivy events, that's a good idea. I don't even know if Ivy Books/The Ivy is high brow enough for her company, and I don't think the wannabe hipster crowd is really their sweet spot. I think the place you got for the Ivy Opening was really good.

Sebastian: Glad you're feeling good about everything. I think I'm going to go part-time for awhile. 75% - get some stuff off my calendar and take some time to think about the philanthropic stuff I've been thinking about. It will be good to have some extra time for Project Blaine.

Sebastian: I think it will be worth it. After spending some more time with him live, dating him without actually calling it that (unfortunately forgoing the physical to start), I should know if I'm right, if it's going to be worth it. I'll keep you posted, Robbie.

Rob: That's fair. I'll keep her in mind if I hear of anyone needing something higher scale.

Rob: Sounds good- we'll figure it out. 75% might not seem like much, it'll be interesting to see.

Sebastian: Hah we didn't split up our friends - but if we did Q would go the way of Hunter. She started her own event company a few years ago. If you and K ever want one, Quinn has exquisite taste - it's about time this city had someone like her doing things right.

Sebastian: Sounds like you need to lay low for a few weekends after this. No calling in sick though, the mess we have to deal with for the spring Tribeca store opening waits for no one.

Sebastian: How are you feeling about these openings? I was talking to my dad and he asked about my longer term goals. I'm considering starting in on them, at least a little. But I don't want to hand anything off to you until you feel ready. I think the team has gotten to know you enough. A lot of them probably prefer you, actually.

Sebastian: I think the letter writing will continue, he needs that side of me right now, without a job or a boyfriend anymore. But I'm definitely going to start pursuing him in person at the same time. Once he starts falling for me and trusts me enough, I'll do the big reveal. What an insane way to date a person. Only I would make myself jump through so many fucking hoops.

Rob: Then maybe we should consider her for Ivy events. Did she help Hunter and Catie at the museum?

Rob: Yeah, a couple of nice quiet weekends sound great.

Rob: I can handle it. And when I can't you'll be there, or I can find someone who can. Don't let that stop you from going after something new.

Rob: Did you get Quinn in the break up? Or is she helping out for Hunter?

Rob: Either way it's fine by us. Christmas was as busy as it always is. In the best ways, but like-- despite all the "resting" we're still exhausted. WTF? Not as bad as you at Thanksgiving in college but yeah.

Rob: Bring it on.

Rob: He did end up being a big part of your fall. The letter writing is going to continue-- or are you going to scale back and focus more on in person-- with you. Or some sort of combination?
