I know it sucks dude, but you can’t do anything about it. You might as well just be happy for her, instead of being bitter about it.

Back in October, a girl I had a crush on and I thought I was making progress with ended up asking out my best friend, and the two of them have been dating ever since. It sucks, but I can’t do anything about it; not without risking our friendship.

I don’t want to be rude, you’re allowed to take your time, but you kind of just have to get over it. Either you do that or you continue to wallow in your sadness, and potentially end up losing that friendship- assuming you want to maintain it, if you care for her I’d imagine you would.

I wish I had better advice for you, but really you just kind of have to move on.
