I desperately wanted to draw some winter content this season, but have been lacking in time. And then I remembered @bastart13 made this gorgeous line art available to colour. This was actually a really helpful colouring exercise, only focusing on the colouring and shading.

While rummaging through my art files, I found this drawing of Asra and Nell during the beach scene I never shared and it reminds me some aks about Nell Masquerade outfit... !

I can't find the old sketch I did about Nell Masquerade's mask but at least I can show you the dress ! It's inspired by the butterfly "Lysandra Coridon" (in french, "L'argus bleu nacré").

Explore the South

The Shining Steppe

The Shining Steppe is south of Vesuvia, but north of the Scourgelands. It is named for the shimmering mirages often seen on its horizons. When sunlight hits the cold air, the ground appears to shiver in scintillating waves. These high plains are home to a number of nomadic tribes, most of which consist of peaceful herders. They rely heavily on their short, sturdy horses.

The Scourgelands

Life this far south is harsh. Although several of the tribes of the Scourgelands consist of hardworking foresters and hunters, some tribes have come to rely on raiding other clans to survive. The Scourge of the South were one of the most notorious of such tribes.

The Crab Isles

The people of the Crab Isles are known as Crabmen. Alhough this name comes from the fact that their livelihood is based primarily on catching the enormous frost crabs of the Frozen Sea, further north the name has created rumours that Crabmen are half-crab, half-human.

Explore Vesuvia

Vesuvia is a city-state built into a cliff by a Mediterranean-like sea, It is located in the southern hemisphere of the world. It is a centre for trade, travel, and cultural exchange, and is known for its tangled, multi-layered network of canals and aqueducts.

Explore Prakra

Prakra is a tropical nation north of Vesuvia, and includes a series of islands that lie in the Emerald Sea. It is a country of white sand beaches and opalescent waters. Prakra’s capital city is located at the centre of the Star Lakes.

Explore Zadith

Zadith lies across the Malvent Strait from Vesuvia. This is a country where both science and magic are highly respected. Those who combine both disciplines are known as alchemists.

Explore Nevivon

A humble, salty little town south of Vesuvia and across the Salty Sea, prized for its natural hot springs.
