This video clip is one of my favorites to watch, not only because of the beautiful knowledge spoken by one of my favorite inspirational sources, the late great Dr Maya Angelou, but also because it features the tone of what I'd like to learn to create in this class. I love the slow transitions, the pans across the subjects and objects, the key text that was used, the still clips of the sculptures and painting, the cohesiveness of her words throughout the video, the variety of visual subject matter to express the point, the glam lighting on the main subject, the range of angles of the main subject as she speaks, the background music as the tempo increases and decreases for dramatic effect, its all simple but to me its simply brilliant.

What I like about the editing of this movie is the fact that the producers were able to put this unfinished film together even though the star of the film had died without completing her scenes. The storyline still makes sense and though it leaves some more to be desired the film was edited to appear completed, brilliant!
