Entrepreneur’s Creed
I do not choose to be a common man, It is my right to be uncommon… If I can. I seek opportunity… Not security. I do not wish to be a kept citizen, Humbled and dulled by having the state look after me, to dream and build, to Fail and succeed. I refuse to barter incentive for a dole. I prefer the challenges of life to the Guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfillment to the stale calm of utopia. I will not trade freedom for beneficence, nor my dignity for a hand out. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat. It is my heritage to stand erect, proud, and unafraid; to think and act for myself; enjoy the benefits of my creation; and to face the world boldly and say, “'This I have done!" “Some people see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say, why not?”

Story Time
THE EXPERIMENT
A group of scientists placed 5 monkeys in a cage, and in the middle, a ladder with bananas on top.
Every time a monkey climbed up the ladder, the scientists soaked the rest of the monkeys with cold water.
It didn't take long for the monkeys to catch on. After a while EVERY time a monkey started to climb the ladder, the other monkeys would beat up the one on the ladder to avoid the cold shower.
After some time no monkey dare to go up the ladder regardless of the temptation, the punishment was too severe.
At this point the scientists decided to substitute one of the monkeys with another one. The FIRST thing this new monkey did was start to climb the ladder, immediately the other monkeys pulled him down and beat him up.
After several beatings the new member learned not to climb the ladder even though he never knew why.
Next a second monkey was substituted and the same process occurred. The (new) first monkey even participated in beating up the (new) second monkey. A third monkey was changed and the same thing repeated. The fourth was substituted and the beatings continued and then finally the fifth was replaced.
What was left in the cage was a group of 5 monkeys that even though had never received a cold shower, continued to beat up any monkey who attempted to climb the ladder!
Now if it were possible to ask these monkey’s why they would beat up those who tried to climb the ladder, I bet their answer would be, “I don’t know. That’s just the way things are done around here.” Now does this sound familiar to you???
Often in life we carry on traditions and ways of thinking without even knowing why we are inclined to act this way, citing that it’s just the way that things have always been. However, just because that’s the way things have always been, it doesn't necessarily mean that its the right, right? So I encourage you to ask yourself, why do you do what you do? Would you continue to do the same if you knew of a different/better way?
And if you found this story interesting, don’t hesitate to share this with others as they too might be asking themselves why we continue to do what we are doing the way we are doing them if there is a different way out there...

About me...
Hey there! You're probably wondering "who the hell is this guy?" Well That's a good question. My name is Jusstin and I'm a professional network marketer/entrepreneur.
I didn't always describe myself as such, why just a few short years ago I was slaving away in the retail world “trying” to create a life for my small family of 3. Its not easy raising a child when you can barely afford rent, let me tell ya! For a while there it seemed like that was going to be my life, working my way up the “corporate ladder” so to speak, shout out to my buddies still rocking with LOWES. Anyway good fortune came my way, twice even, the first time was when I reconnected with my boy from high school Julian Doan.
It happened in the unlikeliest of ways, you see my little brother was best friends with his little brother, a connection neither of us knew existed. Anyway, turns out my good friend Julian was doing quite well for himself as a Network Marketer in the skincare industry (crazy I know). And it just so happened that my little brother got invited out to hear him speak at an event. Long story short, seeing the vast differences in the progress we had made since high school I decided that this network marketing thing was worth taking a serious look at. After all I had turned down quite a few opportunities even one that Julian himself had invited me out to see (if only I had said yes way back when)!
So after very little thought I jumped in head first not really knowing what I was getting myself into, after all my little brother was signing up too and I’ll be damned if he was going to get rich without me LOL. I can honestly say that was one of the best decisions I've made throughout my life, as life has never been the same since. Network marketing opened up my eyes to just how much opportunity is in this world, often in plain sight. Now like many people I took the idea of running a home-based business lightly, I remember thinking “I’m about to get RICH!!!” Turns out that getting wealthy involved some growth, OK, A LOT of growth lol.
Now at this point you’re probably wondering “what about the second time fortune crossed your path?” That’s the funniest story, after earning a little more than 3x my hourly rate at the J.O.B. in my first month as a network marketer I mentally checked out of that place. But can you blame me? In 22-23 hours out of a MONTH, I earned close to the same thing my job payed me for 80 hours over 2 weeks, all I had to do was maintain the pace and well... I didn't :( All the while I resented every hour I spent at the job, knowing what I could potentially do with that time. So after 4 months my job and I decided to part ways RE: I got fired!
THIS was the second time fortune paid me a visit?!?! Seems confusing I know and the story gets better. This was it, I was going to FINALLY take my business seriously, again I didn't... Eventually my girlfriend, of over 9 years, at the time left me and this triggered a 2-4 month depression. THIS is still the good part by the way... lol. With nothing to really look forward to I started working on my mentality HARDCORE consuming tons of personal development, call it my way of distracting myself or call it finally deciding to get my shit together, I don’t really care i was doing something beneficial to my life and that’s all that mattered.
And that pretty much catches us up to today. Now with everything I've learned about myself, people, and entrepreneurship, I've been working on building my ideal life, I've locked arms with some sharp individuals and I’m SO happy to be able to share myself with YOU in the process. So enjoy the ride, I know I will :)
If you found this of value feel free to do what ever it is you do with a blog. Like? Share? Can you even comment on this thing? I dunno I’m still learning lol. If you’d like to work with me, contact me, or just want to see what i’m working on, everything you need is in the sidebar. Looking forward to hearing from you, thanks for reading, until next time!
