Late Marriage – Some Remedies (Article No. 9) Role of Jupiter and Venus for the delay in marriage

In our last article we have explained the role of Jupiter and Venus for the delay in marriage of female and male. The role of Jupiter in 7th house has been found to be inauspicious except when Jupiter is in it’s own house or exalted.

The seventh house in Kundali is known as Marriage house or Jaya bhava. This house tells about one’s life partner, Spouse, sex partner, marriage, adultery, luster, passion, nature or character of spouse, sexual union, secret love affairs.

The Jupiter in Virgo house or Watery in 7th house sign brings discomforts in material enjoyment and relations between the couple are not sweet. There is bickering and trifles among the couple daily basis.

The Jupiter in 7th house is debilitated or having aspect of malefic stars the native divorce or leave his /her spouse.

The girl to offer and made prayer to Lord Vishnu on five Thursday (starting from rising Moon) five besan  laddo made  of Desi ghee + Kalgi to be placed in the Mukat of Lord and make prayer for early marriage.

The girl to offer channe kid al to cow and besan laddo made of desi ghee to Lord Ganesha and make prayer for early marriage.

The girl to wear yellow clothes and use kesar on Tongue and Nabhi ( Navel) on Thursday.

The girl to use Turmeric lotion on body and take bath on Thursday.

November Panchang / Muhurats for the Month of November, 2016

Panchang is an ancient Indian Calendar system based on Astronomical data. Calendar calculations are done based on the position and movement of the planets, stars, Nakshatra and constellations. Panchang is very useful in determining the ideal or auspicious vaar, tithes, yogas, Nakshatras and Karan commonly called the Muhurat, for carrying out various activities like Vivah muhurat or marriage, greh pravesh, starting a puja etc. 

I am sharing with you the Panchang Hindu Calendar for the month of November, 2016. Hope you will find it useful for planning of your various activities.

                         Ekadashi :- During the month of November, 2016 there are two Ekadashi one on 11th November, 2016 (Shukal Paksha) –  Prabodhini Ekadashi, second on 25th November, 2016 (Krishna Paksha)- Utpanna Ekadashi.

** In some Panchang Ekadashi is given on 10th November.On 11th November it is Ekadashi and Dudashi tithi.*

Prabodhini Ekadashi Fast: 11 November 2016

On Prabodhini Ekadashi, Lord Vishnu is worshipped and Tulsi is married. Bhishm Panchak will also begin on the same day. In north India, marriage or other auspicious works are not done on the day of Bhishm Panchak but everybody does not agree to this belief.

 Utpannna Ekadashi:- The fast of Utpanna Ekadashi is observed on Ekadashi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Margshirsha. In the year 2016, Utpanna Ekadashi(Smartta) will be on  25th November, Salvation is said to be the ultimate result of this fast.

Pardosh fast is on 12th November, 2016 (Shukla Paksha).

15th November, 2016:-  Sankranti - Sun will be entering in Scorpio Sign.

 Shubh Muhurats in November, 2016:-

Significance of Rahu and its effects when placed with other stars in your birth chart:

a) Rahu with Moon (Grehan yoga):- It gives fear, phobia, and psychological disturbances, mental depression, financial problems, causes multiple heart breaks, mental unrest, disturbing dreams, insomnia and bad relations with elders. This conjunction is found bad in 1st, 3rd and 9th house. Fear from death accidently by drowning in water. Bad for the health of mother and lack of real happiness.

b) Rahu with Sun (Grehan yoga) :-  Self aggravation and control gains, fascination for the unusual, Rahu boosts ego of person, develop strong ego, conjunction of Rahu with Sun bad on the health of father. This conjunction is found bad in2nd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th. His father or native may die accidentally some times. Native sons may get involved in bad deeds.

c) Rahu with Mars (Angarak yoga):- Brutality, revolution, insensitivity and ruthlessness, many terrorists, anti social activist, revolutionary leaders were born with this combination. This conjunction is found well in 1st, 3rd, 6th and 10th house. Native would become aggressive & angry. He can die by machinery or road accidents, He would not have big brother, and we would have problems from blood pressure.

d) Rahu with Mercury (Jadawat yoga):- Quickness in thoughts and increases communication abilities. Rahu is friend of Mercury if in the chart Mercury is not placed with Sun. If mercury is placed with Sun then Rahu is not friendly with Mercury.

This conjunction give lying,deceit,trickery,harmful intent, versatility, quickness of thoughts and communication ability.Native would be very intelligent but his/her decisions will be worng.He / She can be a good photographer and may keep relations without side his/her caste

e) Rahu with Jupiter (Guru Chandal yoga) :- During this conjunction in Guru Chandal yoga death of saints and spiritual leaders, Rahu instincts Jupiter knowledge and wisdom are misguided, religious bigotry, misuse of position and authority, excessive materialism. This conjunction is found bad in 1st, 5th, 9th and 10th house. The native would have a big family. Problems of leg or polio. He would travel a lot he would be fat, sometimes its seen native reaching higher minister levels.

f) Rahu with Venus (Lampat yoga):- Sexual offences and deviations are the results, leave right person and make wrong choices in love marriage. Venus controls sexual instincts; this combination leads to excessive sexual desires. This yoga is not found good in 1st, 4th, 10th and 11th house. Native would be very rich and would be attractive and live a lavishing life.

g) Rahu with Saturn: Shrapit (Cursed) Yoga:-  Excessive rigidity and orthodoxies, unnecessary tortures, life full of struggle, disappointments, frustrations and sorrow, forced to experience their karma of past and present both positive and negative both the stars destroy all good that is related to the house they occupy unless the owner of houses well placed. If both are placed in 8th house give long age and native go for research and become serious philosopher.

This conjunction is found to be very good in 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th house. Native would be brilliant and rich. He would be in a film or media line. Whatever he earns he will hide it from the Government that is for sure.

06 April 2014 - Seventh day of Navratri: Worshipping Maa Kalratri

Maa Kalaratri is the seventh manifestation of Maa Durga. The seventh day of Navratri pooja is dedicated to Maa Kalratri. She is the most violent and fiercest form of Maa Durga and her appearance itself evokes fear. Maa Kalratri is believed to be the destroyer of all demon entities.

Kalaratri means the One who is “the Death of Kaal”. Here Kaal means as time & death. This form of Maa Durga primarily depicts that life also has dark side – the violent Mother Nature and creates havoc and removes all dirt. Maa Kalratri is also known as Maa Shubhankari (She is also known as Shubhankari).

As her name describes, she is dark in complexion. Her magnanimous hair waves in the air. Her upper left hand holds a sparkling sword and lower left hand holds a weapon for eliminating negativity. Her other two hand remain in giving and protecting forms i.e. her upper right hand is in “Var Mudra” and lower right hand is in “Abhay Mudra”. She has three dreadful and intense red eyes. She spills out flames from her nostrills. A necklace flashing lightning adorns her neck. Her hairs are unlocked.

Appearance of Maa kalratri is so dreadful but still her grace is generous toward her devotees. She eliminates all kind of terror from the life of devotees and assures freedom from fear and sufferings.

She rides a Gadharva (Donkey), who is the symbol of loyality at the same time it represents destroyer of darkness and ignorance (or shava). In Yoga Shastra she represents the Sasahara Chakra

Maa Kalratri in Hindu Mythology

 In this form Goddess Kalratri killed Raktabeej. Raktabeej was a demon who could multiply from every drop of his blood which fell on the ground. Because of this boon, he could not be destroyed.  The Goddess Kaalratri killed him by licking the blood before it could reach the ground and hence conquered him.

Worshipping Maa kalratri gives her worshippers in abundance fruit ful results, power, position and renowned status. She protects her devotees from all evils and influence of demons.

On this day, the eyes of the goddess are opened and the vilva which is invited on the sixth day of the navratra is included into the pooja. Yogis & sadhaks penance on Shahtra Chakra on this day. For the worshipers on this day door opens of every siddhi in universe.

Lord shiva & Lord Brahma are worshipped after the worhship of Goddes Kalratri.

Rahu in Hindu Mythology and the story behind Kaal Sarpa Yog

Rahu’s Birth

 Simhika and Viprachitti gave birth to Rahu(also known as Swarnabhanu). Simhika also know as Simhita was daughter to Hiranyakashyap. Hiryanakashyap is an Asura (Devil) from the Puranic scriptures of Hinduism. Hiranyakashyap was killed by Prahalad who was a devotee of Lord Vishnu.

 Rahu was given a status of a Planet by Lord Brahma. 

Samudra Manthan

Long time back there used to be a Guru called Shukracharya. He was a Bhagwan Rishi who studied under Rishi Gautama. He hated Lord Vishnu, because Lord Vishnu had killed her mother for giving shelter to some Asura who Lord Vishnu was hunting. He performed tapasya (penance) to Lord Shiva and obtained the Sanjivni Mantra also known as Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra. Due to the hatred Shukra (Venus) bore towards Lord Vishnu, he decided to become the Guru of Asuras.

Powered with Sanjivni Mantra, Shukra convinced Asuras to attack Devas. Shukra would bring back to life all Asuras who died in the War. Devas started loosing the battle and approached Lord Vishnu.

Vishnu then suggested all Devas to perform the Samudra Manthan, which would yield Amrita (Holy Nectar). Devas on drinking this Amrita would become Immortals.

The huge mountain, Mandara, was used as the pole to stir the waters. But as the pole entered the water it kept sliding into depths of the ocean. To stop this, Vishnu quickly transformed himself into a tortoise and placed the mountainon his back. This image of Vishnu as the tortoise was his second avatar called ‘Kurma.’

Once the pole was balanced, it was tied to the gigantic snake, Vasuki, and the Devas and Asuras started pulling it from either side. As the churning began and the massive waves whirled, an extremely poisonous drink called halahal came out. The gods became scared because this blue drink could destroy creation.

They all got together and prayed to the powerful Shiva to help him them. Shiva appeared before all and gulped the entire poison. But, he did not swallow it. He kept the poison in his throat. Since then, Shiva’s throat became blue, and he became known as Neelkantha or the blue-throated one.

The churning continued and poured forth a number of gifts and treasures. They included Kamdhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow; the goddess of wealth, Laxmi; the wish-fulfilling tree, Kalpavriksha; and finally, came Dhanvantari carrying the pot of amrita and a book of medicine called Ayurveda.

Once the Amrita was out, Lord Vishnu disguised himself as Mohini, a dancer and took upon the responsibility of  distributing the Amrita among Devas and Asuras (who also helped in the Manthan process). For convenience of distribution, Mohini kept Asuras in one line and Devas in the other line. She tactfully offered to give Liquor to the Asuras in disguise of  Amrita. She kept offering Amrit to the Devas.

Seeing this, Swarbhanu (Rahu) suspected her and came to know the reality about Vishnu being Mohini. He disguised as one of the gods and sits in between Surya and Chandra to drink the Amrita. When Mohini was offering Amrita to Swarnbhanu, the sun and moon Devas recognised it to be a trick and complained to Mohini (Vishnu), who in turn, severed Swarnbhanu’s head with his Sudarshan Chakra. As Swarnbhanu had already consumed the Amrita, his head and torso became immortal. The head of Swarnbhanu is known as Rahu and the torso of Swarnabhanu is known as Ketu. 

The Sun and Lunar Eclipse (Surya Grahan and Chandra Grahan)

The head of the Swarnabhanu (Rahu) fell on one side of Sun and the torso of Swarnbhanu (Ketu) fell on the other side of the Sun.

Sun being a responsible planet (In hindu astrology sun is a planet and not considered as a star), decided to stop his movement to keep Rahu from meeting Ketu. That is the reason in any astrology chart one will see Rahu and Ketu in 180 degrees placement from each other.

As an act of revenge, every now and then Rahu gobbles Sun or Moon; causing world to suffer from darkness as a result we witness Solar/Lunar eclipses. The headless trunk of Rahu came to be known as Ketu and since then Rahu has become the eighth planet and is considered in astrological formulations, Ketu being ninth.

Rahu need not always be a enemy of sun in your birth chart. The details of which I will explain in my next post.

Kaal Sarp Yog

Rahu worshipped lord Shiva. Lord Shiva’s own son Ganpati has the similiar story where Lord Ganesha’s head was chopped off. Lord Shiva had given Lord Ganesha a head of an elephant.

Rahu asked Lord Shiva to give him a body and Ketu a Head. Lord Shiva took mercy on Rahu and blessed Rahu with the body of a snake and Ketu with the head of a snake.

If in someone’s birth chart all planets lie in between Ketu (the head of snake) and Rahu (the tail of snake), then this yog in Kundli is called Kaal Sarpa Yog.

  Kaal Sarp Yog can be formed in any person’s horoscope like king, rich, president, prime-minister, peon, poor etc. and those who has Kaal Sarp Yog in their horoscope, instead of they have all kind of facilities but always suffer from any tension, fear, insecure. A person who has bitten by snake cannot sit comfortably like this a person who has Kaal Sarp Yog in his horoscope always fear from death.

Rahu and its Significance

In astrology Rahu is natural and functional malefic planet for ascendants and rising signs. 

Rahu gives extreme amplification to the planet with which it sits or to the house it sits in alone. 

These are the things Rahu represents or signifies

Obsession.

One’s inner desire to do something.

Confusions in mind or hallucinations.

Rahu signifies foreign lands or foreign cultures. Not necessarily meaning foreign travel, could also be person indulging in activities not acceptable by the society one lives in.

Depending on position and aspects of Rahu a person may indulge in illegal activities. There is a tendency to do theft and robbery.

Rahu may make person abusive - physically, verbally or even sexually.

Rahu can increase your expenses if it sits in the house of wealth. It may make a person spend for unfruitful purposes - drinking, smoking, gambling etc. 

But Rahu does not necessarily bring bad news.

Based on the position, ownership of the planet and signs Rahu may give positive effects for people in the field of politics and medicine. 

One thing is for sure, Rahu is impatient and brings extreme state of mind to the subject. And subject using upays/remedies can use Rahu for his/her own advantage.
