The below post is old and rambly, but the ^above link^ contains chat logs that will be much more illuminating as to how Tucker acts when he’s trying to manipulate and flatter someone… and what bizarre things he’s willing to admit to do that.

ETA 7/14/15: A small primer added about “Locky”/strawbebby/rockdownu. She’s Tucker’s friend, apparently backing up everything he says. However, her tendencies were pretty repugnant before either of us even met her, including daily stalking and suicide-baiting. It’s no surprise to me how well those two get along. I was hoping to keep this simple, but I’m not at all shocked that I have to mention her now. ETA 6/04/15: Tucker continues to harass people! ETA 2/18/15: Added a better, less stylized explanation of the whole mess.

I’m still amazed and disgusted by how much I fell for, and what I did because of it. I love knowing how my and others’ brains work, so finally finding the possible answers to my confusion has been incredibly therapeutic. I’m sharing these answers publicly, however, only because my hand has been forced. THIS IS ALL TESTIMONY COMPILED TO DEFEND MYSELF. I DID NOT START THIS. TUCKER DID BY CALLING ME, AND EVENTUALLY NEARLY EVERYONE HE INTERACTS WITH, AN “ABUSER”. He is a serial accuser, and someone needs to put their foot down.

BEING THAT I WAS A PRETTY PRIVATE PERSON WHEN THIS HAPPENED, I WAS VERY UPSET AND EMBARRASSED ABOUT HAVING TO DRAG THIS OUT IN THE OPEN. This person spreads purposefully damaging lies about people, usually artists. I and others are NOT okay with being lied about.

In reading this, please take care to remember the line between symptoms of mental illness and unacceptable behavior.

Tucker Guyn Pierson is also known as GHOSTOAKES (most recent), twistedteeth, ghostwebs, Lowell, thatchett, gatchett, fapchett, bluewendigo, skynspiration, skintightucker, skintightart, and oozybones. (And, to some people who may still believe that he’s stuck in a wheelchair, the pseudonym “Anika Harlson”/anika_dark.)

(MARCH 2015 EDIT: Friends are telling me he’s changed usernames once again. This was widely anticipated. Stay aware! Though he shouldn’t be hard to recognize. I may reveal/tag the usernames if it turns out I still need to defend myself, in order to inform people who may search my blog for his name.  (APRIL 2ND EDIT: WELL GUESS WHAT.) It’s known that he’s now making vagueposts/small callout posts about more relationships… that, given that the information below the cut, are shockingly and embarrassingly hypocritical.)

He is smart, level-headed, soft-spoken and persuasive. He claims to be super-empathic, but this is a trait he borrowed from one of his victims, and he’s consistently reported as behaving like an emotional vampire whose empathy is mere performance that is turned off with ease. He has very few long-standing friendships thanks to this behavior, and an “escape tactic”– once he assesses that you’re no longer under his spell, he will sever all connection and immediately cobble together a story about how you betrayed him to explain why you two are on bad terms. He has migrated from community to community several times after exhausting goodwill in the old one. He changes usernames frequently.

To me, he’s “tearfully” confessed to multiple crimes, ranging from petty theft to rape and murder. He volunteers very strange personal information quickly to gain your attention and trust and thrives on a victim narrative. He specifically told me that his personality presented online isn’t who he really is when I was surprised that his private persona was so different from his public one, and he told me that he can be highly manipulative “when [he] want[s] to be”; that “you flaunt your horrors– the gore art, the hard music. I hide my darkness”. I believed I was immune and special because he was telling me these things, but now I know that they were tools to take advantage of my tolerance and gain my trust. (He told me no one else knew about some of his worse crimes, but I now know that was never true.) He also pointed out many well-known people in the DA/FA art community as being “crazy”, “evil” and/or “ungrateful”. I was told I was better than all those bad people, stronger, special. I was being groomed.

He is cartoonishly duplicitous, and has been documented many, many times as sucking up to someone and then shit-talking them elsewhere or divulging their secrets to others immediately after. He aggressively inserts himself into artist circles and excels at turning friends against each other, even if temporarily, through a combination of made-up hearsay, his own opinions, and illnesses and events he makes up or exaggerates for pity. He has been, until recently forced by this post, totally unwilling to admit any wrongdoing, and even so remains vague on what he did unless he’s bragging about making you suicidal because you’re “bad”. It is critical that any friend group that includes him speaks honestly, openly and often with each other without him present. If he doesn’t like someone, he will try to plant that seed in everyone else’s heads by any means necessary.

I could write a novella about what I know and have just recently gathered about his exploitation of other people over the last 3 or so years. Contrary to the narrative he operates under that he is the victim here, 95% of these people came to me and others voluntarily. One conversation with witnesses lasted more than 6 hours straight. Others are comparable. This feels like complex, wheedling emotional abuse that tears people apart from the inside, makes them feel weak and worthless, and that people don’t completely realize is happening until much later, like a toad in a slow-boiling pot. Depressed, happy, experienced, naive… I’ve heard from multiple personality types, and no matter who they are, if they made art he likes, he targeted and eventually hurt various people while convincing them that it was their fault using classic guilt-tripping (stressing themes of trust and betrayal on their end) and silent treatment, claiming he can’t be held responsible for multiple reasons.

His pattern of lying is surprisingly widespread, with new individuals coming forward every few months. Many of his specific exploits aren’t mentioned here because they aren’t my stories to tell. However, I can give you the names of some people who would be willing to talk about their experiences with Tucker.

As much as I am concerned with the reputations Tucker remorselessly attacks in private, where the people involved can’t defend themselves, the main thing I want people to take away from this post is that Tucker is first and foremost a pathological liar, and should only be approached forearmed with this knowledge. HE HISTORICALLY, CONSISTENTLY AND FUNDAMENTALLY CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO TELL ANYONE THE TRUTH, REGARDLESS OF HIS DEVOTION TO THEM. IN FACT, THE PEOPLE HE’S BEEN OBSESSED WITH HAVE BEEN THE MOST VULNERABLE. This pattern is so proven by just a 2 or 3-year scope that I believe it to be undeniable. (EDIT JANUARY 2016: A new witness came forward with a story nearly identical to a few others. This behavior dates back to 2011 with little change– he’s been pulling the same tactics at the same level of sophistication for all of his adult life.)

I and several others learned this the hard way. If you interact with him, understand that if it sounds too good, horrible, or otherwise fantastic to be true, it very, very likely is made up. Understand that if he seems like someone you wouldn’t be friends with, he can convincingly indulge your deepest passions, and that his loyalty is sincerely expressed, but his apparent inability to establish honest, non-emotionally manipulative relationships renders it absolutely useless. At the very least, he will use your name and friendship to hurt others, claiming you back him up on the bad qualities he’s trying to convince them they exhibit.

Believe him at your own risk. Question him at your own risk. Especially, tell him about yourself at your own risk. If you ever decide it would be best to remove yourself from communication with him, fade away quietly and without comment. If you even slightly anger him, he will villainize you.

That’s true. Nobody seems biased these days, but I’ve always taken the “you’re not to be trusted unless you give me a few good reasons to trust you” mentality. I saw people saying things about Tucker, so I read and read, and there’s no denying that he scammed people out of money, at least. Everything else could have been fabricated. Anyone can claim the chat name Ghost and post certain messages to themselves. But that’s why reading is so important before casting judgment.

Not to get all #believethevictims but just… think about it for a sec. Like, what you know about the reality we live in.

1) Basic addition. There are several people who’ve written up experiences. Some of them are freakishly in-depth. Why would all those people fake having these bizarre problems with the same guy? Why would they all feign personal damage and think it’s important people know about it? Reporting this stuff is embarrassing and stressful, and it’s not like we’re getting money out of it. Most of us have never felt the need to get involved in drama before. Is it really possible that we’re ALL just jealous of him or evil? With that much time to devote to someone who left us with zero trauma to work out? What makes him so special to attract all this ire?

2) How people act. The chats are highly specific and idiosyncratic, and faking those would take a serious amount of effort and skill at character writing. Who could make up his Billy story? And why, when I could just write him saying something that would DEFINITELY make people mad at him, like “don’t tell anybody, but I hate and believe all should die” or something? His actual words are important to understanding what kind of person he is and to uncovering his motives and how he manages to manipulate different kinds of people. They’re useful for people who experience the same thing and need answers, comparisons, and comfort.

It’s just… really frustrating that he had to rip off 75 people at once before those outside the groups who already trust us took note of how badly he treats people. What that says is that he could have just kept doing it to individuals, in private, and no one would have believed any of them, even if they all spoke up at once, because “chats can be faked”.

I guess my point is, it’s not just about what we can prove beyond a doubt, it’s about reading a situation and seeing that if multiple people are telling you that the guy on the corner pissed on them, maybe don’t walk in the range of his pee-stream.
