Hi everyone! Please take a second to read this:

I have a bit of time on my hands and I decided I’m going to make an e-book for Japanese. It won’t be a normal textbook. This will be packed with tips, advice, phrases, sentences and more, taken from various trusted sources as well as my own experience and tips while learning the language. I’m planning on selling it online at a very cheap price once I’m done. 

This is the rough cover design so far. 

80% of funds will go to my mom’s cancer treatment. Would anyone be interested in buying it once I’m done?

I’m not sure yet, but I am thinking not more than 8USD and it will be available online and you can pay securely though PayPal. Any tips or interested parties or anyone who wants to contribute or collaborate?

BSD & Natsume Soseki’s “I Am a Cat”

I just finished reading this book today so here I GO

• The 3-part book Odasaku read may or may not be loosely based on I Am a Cat, which has been released as 3 individual volumes in the past.

• Throughout the book several characters (including the cat) speak ill of detectives. The irony haha

“Me, a detective? You must be out of your mind! Among the several most degrading occupations in this world, there are, in my opinion, none more grubby than those of the detective and the money-lender.”

• This quote from BSD chapter 19 comes from a character (human) named Suzuki:

“‘[…] there’s no point in even trying to be a businessman unless your love for money is so absolute that you’re ready to accompany it on the walk to a double suicide. For money, believe you me, is a hard mistress and none of her lovers are let off lightly. As a matter of fact, I’ve just been visiting a businessman and, according to him, the only way to succeed is to practice the ‘triangled technique’: try to escape your obligations, annihilate your kindly feelings, and geld yourself of the sense of shame. Try-an-geld. You get it? Jolly clever, don’t you think?’”

He also adds:

“‘[The businessman] only meant it, you know, as a kind of joke. It’s simply a way of summarizing the fact that to make money one must go through hell.’”

Mystic Messenger DLC Walkthrough.

So a short non-spoiler tutorial. I just finished getting the 7th ending and a friend got the last one, so here its how you can get all endings. there is NO BAD ENDINGS, there is one ending you finish SOLO, but no bad endings from routes. (Some of this things may not be 100% necessary to get the ending, but you will for sure get it if you follow them). Yoosung: Support his work on the Xmas project, answer his messages on start of day 1 and start of day 2, answer his call on end of day 2. Jaehee: Support her work on the Xmas event, tell Jumin he has been over working her, answer her messages on start of day 1 and on start of day 2, answer her call on end of day 2. Zen: Flirt with him, say you would like to pass Xmas with him, answer his messages on beginning of day 1 and day 2, answer his call on end of day 2. For this 3 is pretty straight-forward, just interact and gain hearts with them on the first day. The next 4 endings come from branches on Day 2 in Jumin’s and 707′s route. Jumin: Stay by his side, and have a rational seeing on Xmas on Day 1, answer his messages on start of day 1 and 2, and answer his call on end of day 2. When he has the conversation with V on day 2 take his side over V’s. V: Is a branching from Jumin’s route. Get on Jumin’s good side through DAY 1 so you can get into his day 2. When V appears on chat, interact with him, taking his side and being flirty with him. On the conversation with Jumin on Day 2 TAKE HIS SIDE OVER JUMIN’S. 707: Pass the entire day 1 agreeing with him about not caring much about Xmas, answer his messages on start of Day 1 and 2, and answer his call on day 2. On day 2 say you want to spend your Christmas with HIM and not alone. Unknown: Is a branching from 707′s route. Stay on 707 side through the entirety of day 1. When you get to his route, keep the position of wanting to spend Christmas ALONE. Answer his messages on the middle of day 1 and his phone call on the end of day 2.

Solo ending: Ignore all chats. Hope it helped! Thanks @kirachama for sharing her knowledge on the Choi brothers and the solo ending. Please don’t copy this tutorial and repost on your tumblr because it’s pretty disrespectful, and just ignores all the work I had making it. Thanks!

Sorry to be a bother but may i ask about Bungou Stray Dogs Gakuen?? Like is it a one chapter go or something like that cause i just read the preview and im in love ;u; thanks for your time!

While originally an April Fool’s Day joke, Asagiri wrote a two-part story for it as well. The first part (the one the preview is from) was included with the 2nd Blu-ray/DVD set, and the second part (no preview for that one so far) will be coming out in January with the 8th set. There are also some new goods out related to Gakuen - some using this image and some with designs for Dazai, Atsushi, Chuuya, Kenji and Tanizaki - so perhaps they’ll keep dabbling in this universe (I hope so, since as much as I want to read the story Asagiri wrote, those DVD sets are expensive…)! XD

Kanji Worksheets

I forgot to mention this in my How I Study Kanji post but I also use these printables. The printables are meant for Japanese kids so they’re sorted by grade level. They also have other materials in Japanese (like Geography, math, etc) but it’s all meant for young kids. But if you want you can use that as practice or something?

Anyways, they have kanji practice sheets that also include words that include the kanji as well as sentences. Not only that but they also have tests as well as the answers; so you can totally test yourself! 

If you can’t read that much Japanese but you want to get the kanji printables just look for this on the left hand side and click based on grade level
