Kevin just got home from ComicMania. He works long hours, five days a week. He doesn't mind it though, he enjoys the enviornment. He can also step outside for smoke breaks, and takes full advantage of it when he deals with aggravating customers and anxious situations. As he walks in the apartment, he places his keys on the counter and walks over to his chair. He sets up his video games, neatly packs a bowl, and begins his night of entertainment.

He hears his phone start to buzz, but wonders who could be texting him so late. "Hmm, that's odd." He notes that it's from a phone number he doesn't know of, but continues reading. He discovers it's his old classmate, Lola, whom he hasn't seen in years. "Oh, wow! I haven't talked to her in ages. Cutie..?"

He then writes back.

"Oh, hey Lola! Long time no talk. How are you tonight? 😁"

Lola has a bottle of wine placed next to her on her nightstand. Her fingers are curled around the long neck and she pulls it to her, taking a sip from it before placing it back down.

She sincerely meant it by saying Kevin was hot. Though getting his number was more her sense of humor coming into play. Lola doesn’t mind it, really. Talking is just talking. Her heart is all over the place, being wrapped into Jenny Simmons grip. Poked and prodded by too many dreams and thoughts involving her best friends man. Lola doesn’t know if she can commit to anything right now. Doesn’t know if with how overloaded her body is that if even humoring someone else is ideal.

She knows it doesn’t have to be anything more than a few flirtatious texts.

She stares down at the unsent text to Kevin Stoley. Takes a deep breath, another gulp of her wine. Hits send.
