Started making the main pleated section for the skirt im making, I cut out the gold and red fabric on a fold from the 4 pattern pieces i made for the pleats, I then used a fork to pleat them and then stitched them down

Drafting the plaited pieces for the dress on parchment paper
I layed the paper on the base pattern and measured 6 inches out and then cut at the same angle the edge of the main pattern piece is, did this 4 times each one getting bigger as they go down

Last piece for my swatch book
Started by cutting black material and a purple transparent fabric as a base and then overlocked them together around the edges, I then took gold purple and light blue chiffon fabric and began to pull at them to give a distressed look to them and began stitching and laying them on top of each other

Fourth fabric swatch for my lineup
Started by cutting the fabric to size and then using sheers cutting the pattern out on the black top layer, I then overlooked the layers onto each other and went around the edges of the cut out pattern with a straight stitch to set it in place, with the bottom part i gathered it with elastic and seamed it into the main piece

Third piece for my swatch book
Started by cutting and pressing the material and then overlocking the edges on the main part, I then took the blue material and gathered it using elastic and attached it to the backing

First piece for my swatch book based of part of the dress for one of my garments in my lineup.
I used a old golden duvet cover i had and some sheer red material and cut them to size adding extra room for the Pleats and cutting them into layers and clipping them on top of eachother because layering is something i really drew inspiration from my muse Auroras outfits.
I then made the pleats using the fork method and then pressing them down into shape with a iron, I then sewed the 3 layers pleats down individually, also for the back and largest part I did some gathering using elastic mostly to experiment but chose not to continue doing this because i didn't like how the gathering and pleating looked together.
I then sewed the 3 layers onto each other and then tripped the top part and did a overlock stitch to finish the edge nicer I definitely need to practice overlooking more

Finished lineup where I adjusted the colour schemes to be more cohesive based off the palette I made, I also took a royalty free stock image of a sunset and put it in the background with a gaussian blur filter to make it more visually pleasing
