"Movement" to me is a way of adoring the body as a means to establish my own individuality as well as connection with manmade or natural forms.

I chose a lyric from a song that inspired me to create a fashion lineup from the different transition in personalities.
The Song is called "Fly" by Nicki Minaj featuring Rihanna and the part from the lyric i chose says
Sometimes i like looking way too Extra dramatic, sometimes minimalistic style or Very flamboyant like Renaissance period or Feeling of Love and beauty nature inspired and sometimes nothing at all.

My Story
Transition between Personalities
I have different personalities which often drives me to be inspired with each personality to create art, design or a physical response to it as in dressing up and creating a whole different personality from my usual self. Watching animation is my favorite thing on TV and also TV shows that has alot of fantasy and imagination genre, Drag Race show excits me because its very exotic and fun.
"Inside Out" would be my favourite animation that best describes the transition of personalities in me because to me the movie shows me that its okay to have many personlities at different stages that define you, especially during this pandemic its hard to meet with friend and people therefore you have to create a source of companionship for yourself.

Fashion Elective (Lineup Workshop)
I chose this moodboard as a source of inspiration for my line up.

The reason for me choosing this moodboard because this is a line up intended to inspire women to be empowered, embrace their feminity, body and beauty with confidence.

I made color swatches from paint on a paper and I also done it digitally.
Movin to figures I played with the color swatches around the body just an abstract composition to have of view on how the colors play along each other.
Forms and Silhouettes
I was exploring forms that describes the line up statement and more over in organic shapes and feminine figure silhouettes.
I am still exploring shapes and forms that best describes my moodboard source inspiration.

Ceramics Elective(3d grid form from mark making)

I made it in layers format top each other with the background which is the negative section of the image made of a cornflakes box because I was inspired by the work of Patrick Cabral Philippines artist creates 3-dimensional paper portraits of endangered animals featuring layers of lace inspired cut outs of paper.
If I was to make it on clay I would use the additive, repetitive and layering technique because It gives the design on a clay that 3D effect.

Ceramics Elective (Translation of mark making to 3D)

When I was exploring mark making I was focused on repetitive pattern, irregular shapes and rotation gesture/sequence.
From this mark making I selected a section with a view finder and explored different ways of cutting the positive section and negative section of the picture.

Each cutting method has different outcomes, the blade and scissors gave a sharp edge unlike the tearing with water, its more easier to get in corners.

Experimenting with color
I have always found abstract art or painting very pleasing and bold too.
The colours doesn't have to match or fall on close range in the color wheel. It's the diversity of color creating more color in the work for me.
The reason why I admire it is because i like my eye to capture more than just one color the vibrant the color the more i am attracted to the art.

Ceramics and Fashion
I drew this mermaid silhouette dress with feather scarf and a hem tail of feather too. To get this illusion of feather I used one of the marking tools i made from ceramics workshop 2 weeks ago. At first I didnt know what to use the tool for although it gave me beautiful repetitive pattern shapes when I was marking making but I also used it today to create feather or fur texture on fashion garments in a drawing.

(Tool was made from a tiny stick and eyelashes)

Investigating Make up art as more than just face beautification and the fact of wearing it for people but it is more in context to self transition, empowerment, power, confidence, feminity and freedom. It is a self representation too for instant myself I like vibrant and abstract colour, wild, rebellious and bold that plays in contrast to my skin , it also make me break stereotype sentences like “ vibrant colours don't match your skin or don't wear that lip shade its too bright for you”
It MAKES SOMEONE WHO THEY ARE AND NOT WHAT SOCIETY WANTS THEM TO BE
Rupaul Drag Race
It’s my favourite programme because it has Dramatic, artistic entertainment and political approach to it.

Drag queens are embracing the gender norm of what it means to be a woman. It exposes the ridiculousness of how our world classify and construct ‘man’ and ‘woman’ but rather challenges both categories and explore everything between both.

Painting Elective(gesture drawing workshop)
A couple of gesture drawings, i have done from magazine and one of which my friend posed for me.

Quick drawing of something gives me a vision of any art work that i want to create or design. I attended this workshop specifically because i can use it in my other elective fashion design to illustrate fashion figures and create my six line up story.

Ceramics Elective (Mark Making Workshop)
As a reference of my Movement source "Make up" I looked no further but in my room which is my comfort zone all times to make my marking tools. I used an old beauty blender sponge I further shaped with scissors, lashes, an earring that was of no use and also I was taking off my braids so I decided to keep a strand and roll it on a hair roller.

The reference words of movement for me are blending, swifting, colour, repetitive and manipulation using these words I was able to translate them on paper using those tools.

The rotating movement of the beauty blender I was able to create a repetitive pattern of floral shape.

As I was exploring different Marks and working away, I was enjoying it so much, after doing a couple of pages and placing my work along each other, I noticed my work is similar to abstract artwork and I love abstract very much.

Exploring Colour in Fashion creating colour palette

To be precise I enjoyed this this workshop because I love colour, it was very exciting process for me investigating colour and the out come of different colour palettes. Not only for fashion but I could also use this method with my other selected disciplines.
I used water colours to mix shades of colours and documented result.
