Some ideas and notes I took to make my video of time in sculpture. I first brain stormed things I do every day and put stars next to the things I knew that I could record myself doing that'd be very repetitive. I then decided how many clips I wanted to make of each topic. From there I figured out the order which would best suit the clips to be placed in. The finished video is available on my instagram

Physical Intervention

My intervention of space. I had wanted to do a few more, more complex ones but I got yelled at for putting pins in the door frame so that killed that dream. My intentions when making these was to block off the doorway partially, making it look easy to leave but there is still something in the way blocking the exit. At the moment I still feel like I can leave my house and that there is no reason why I can't just leave. I know that if I do leave the house I risk putting my family in danger so I can't just leave.

*NO BEES WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS* I wanted to just look at the bees when they aren't working as an organism. I put a few bees (dead already) into gelatine. I've a few bigger examples but they haven't completely thawed yet because I put them in the freezer to harden them up a little

Nature / Home

I have uploaded all my pictures from my walk around my garden on Instagram, so they can be seen there. I ended up going town to the beehives and having a look at everything going on. Every time I go down there it's always exciting. Everyone who goes down, including myself is always in see of the bees and how the work.
Made a little bee out of petals and burnt wood I found inside the bee smoker, they're stuck onto glue

some pictures of cabinets from Damien Hirsts ‘Treasures from the wreck of the unbelievable’. this was my inspiration for part 2 of the 24 hour drawing project. i put my object in a very similar set up because i liked how obsurd it would be to place such a clearly non historical item in a serious setting. damien hirst made his objects that were clearly not hirtorical items, blend in to the background because they were disguised in a serious setting among items that could easily pass as old and historical. there was debate about whether the exhibit was a failure or sucess but in terms of placement and how everything was displayed to the public, i think the gallery space and set up was convincing.
