My final art wall setup. I am really happy with how everything turned out in the end and how my pieces turned out. I found my style working through this project and I’m content with it.

Found this artist while scrolling through Pinterest and found a huge interest of them. As of other artists I enjoy with simplistic styles this is another. I like his choice blockiness and how yet he makes it so smooth by layering different colours.

More spots of pealing wall decay and rust. Seems to be a very common thing around college.

My favourite painting I’ve done this semester of my friends. I really found my style of painting through this one I like how simple my colours are and how the plain background makes the rest stand out.

I found this artist in a juxtapose magazine I bought and I really liked her style of painting the simplicity and how she tends to work with similar colour pallets

Started a double painting that’s unfinished but I was inspired by the amount of wall decay and cracks around the college and decided to do a piece on it.

Started painting some of my observations around college. Found these sculpture faces really interesting and I enjoyed the colours and weirdness of them.I decided to stick with a colour theme and it was pink and I found it made my process of painting a lot easier, especially it being my first proper time painting.

PORTRAIT PAINTING WITH SYLVIA |

In this class we were given a task to make a painting with only a pallet knife. We could only use a mirror and an easel in this progress which made it harder looking at myself moving while trying to paint instead of a picture. I enjoyed it towards the end when everything was coming more together.

Started working on a painting of one of my sketches from observing lsad. I choose to do this one as I loved looking at working on the decay and cracks along the pipe and on the wall. I found I was able to really capture this through my painting although it is unfinished.
I also choose to work on cardboard as don’t really enjoy working with paper, it’s starts to crinkle cardboard is much harder and holds the paint well. Also felt that the texture of the cardboard gave the paint a wall texture 💗

LIFE MODEL WORKSHOP |

Did a life model painting workshop with Sylvia on Monday really enjoyed this one I got to learn to paint real life model and work with different light and how to work with it with only three colours red blue and yellow while being able to lighten then and darken then with white and black. I choose to work with kind of red tones. I really like how it turned out in the end even tho I wasn’t happy with it at the start but I stayed patient.
