So the Azure King went down the path he did because he lost faith in his own ideals.

…That’s why every time someone faces Kunikida it’s not enough for them to simply fight him.

But try to break him.

By calling his ideals nothing but empty words that aren’t even worth the pages that they’re written on.

To make him lose faith.

Fuck that’s so good.

That’s such a good detail that persists in every fight that Kunikida is in. And why he is constantly having to prove what and why he follows his ideals.

Ranpo says it himself in the Cannibalism arc “Kunikida you are the strongest and most virtuous of us in the Agency. It’s why the enemy tried to break you first.”

Which they did by having a child die in-front of him…Just like they have in this moment.

Because after the possibility of losing Fukuzwa the next worst thing for the Agency would be for Kunikida to lose faith in himself.

Lest he follow that same path.

But despite their similarities Kunikida will never be the Azure King because his friends will never let him lose himself like that.

Ranpo won’t let him rot. Dazai will be at his side. Yosano will come to his aid in time. Atsushi will show him there’s always a way. Fukuzwas will remind him why he chose him etc.

Kunikida’s ideals are the Agency itself and as long as the Agency believes in him, then he will always have faith in himself.

And so through all that darkness and despair that floods the world around him, Kunikida’s eyes have always remained bright.

this post is EVERYTHING to me and i agree with all of it.

They'll never make me hate you Bucky Barnes. Your stans are annoying and the Russos brothers are being weird, but I could never hate you.

The man who always puts Sam first and knows the exact words Sam needs to hear when he's in doubt.

It started in Avengers: Endgame with the little head nod to reassure Sam when he was talking with Steve.

And then in episode 5 of TFATWS, when he gave Sam that pep talk about the shield while apologizing for not understanding earlier what it would mean for a Black man to have the shield.

He found the perfect words again, in Captain America: Brave New World when he went to visit him while Joaquin was in the OR, assured him that what happened to Joaquin wasn't his fault and told him that he was exactly what people needed.

The could never make me hate you.

The man who looks at Sam like he's the best thing that ever happened to him.

The man who put his head out of his *ss and started working on himself to be the partner Sam deserved.

The man who smiles at Sam like he means the world to him.

The man who's in a picture frame in Captain America's office.

They could never make me hate the man who loves Sam in a way that makes all the other MCU relationships look pale in comparison.

And if they don't fix this in Doomsday, I'll riot

John Walker is an asshole. He’s also a dad. He wasn’t a very good dad, but he never ever raised a hand or voice to his son.

Bob’s dad was an asshole. And he frequently raised his hands and voice to his wife and son.

And John Walker punched Bob’s dad’s ass out to protect Bob and get him through the Void, and even helped pull him back from the brink.

That is very important to me

YES the Thunderbolts have a fantastic team as family dynamic, yes they are living in Avengers tower, yes history is repeating itself and 2012 tower fics are so back. BUT!

instead of "Alexei eating poptarts" or "Yelena in the vents", we must come up with new headcanons and make history

Bob always does normal domestic chores, often getting in the way of important missions and spy business. "All I'm saying is Bucky is our best sniper" "It would be a much quieter assassination if I just slipped into the condo and cut his—" "Hey sorry guys, anyone have laundry? I'm doing a load"

Yelena and her guinea pig always eat meals together at the dining table. Everyone has their Chinese food or barbeque, meanwhile the rodent is loudly munching on a salad right beside them

Bucky is the mom and always keeps them on track. "Ava you have a dentist appointment in the morning, and bring Bob so they can add him to the insurance. Lena how was therapy? Alexei, I said no vodka until dinner"

Alexei is always coming up with new promotional ideas for the team. Cartoon tv show, cereal, toothpaste flavour...every day he thinks he's come up with the next big thing. Whenever they actually get put into production (Wheaties) he collects and saves it, and won't let anyone use a different product. (He threw out Yelena's frosted flakes and it took both Bucky and John to get her to stop attacking him)

Ava likes to phase and sneak attack her teammates at random. She claims it's for training but really she just thinks it's funny hearing them scream

John gets blamed for everything, even if it isn't his fault. Especially if it isn't his fault: "who ate the last bagel?" "John." "Where's my hair straightener?" "John had it." "Whose turn is it to unload the dishwasher?" "Johnnnn"

Thunderbolts is the first real team Bucky has been apart of, but his first found family after Steve is forever and always the Wilson’s 💕

something something about how Bucky’s greatest trauma came from falling and Sam’s greatest trauma came from watching someone fall and Bucky found someone who can catch him and Sam found someone who can bounce

bucky typically wearing multiple layers of clothing with his arm hidden vs being in a simple shirt with his arm out on display indicating his comfort and familiarity with sam is so personal to me.

and another thing i love is the symbolism in the fact that he’s wearing the same style of shirt (henley) in both of these pictures. except the red indicates an anger and conflict in his identity vs the blue symbolising strength and serenity (newfound thanks to sam).
