I'm finally back with translations of Loenese and Hermes for Lotm ep7! (ฅ>ω<*ฅ)

Apologies for the long wait, hope nobody was worried I died for trying to translate the Antigonus notebook. Did run into some bad luck tho, which is why I'm so late.(-_-;)

Usually I try realising these before the next episode comes out, but the week after ep7 I was busy finishing a cosplay for that weekend for a con and since there was so much content that ep, I couldn't complete it on time. Aaannnd then I got sick the day after the con..(¯―¯٥)

I may or may not also have accidentally started a fire at some point, but that's besides the point.

Anyway! Enough of my excuses! I'm done and it's here! (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧

Ep7 had a lot of text and a lot of it was barley comprehensible pages of cursive writing. Including even the Antigonus notebook!

Which was kinda exciting at first, only for it to give me what looks like OG Klein's diary put into a blender, mixed into a goo of words that looks like it should make sense but doesn't. (ーー;)

I really tried my best, but I don't think it's meant to mean anything at all. Which is fair enough I guess.

There were a lot of rituals in this episode and even with Zeeshiry helping me try to solve them, we could only really solve the clown potion one. I did figure out the last half of them, but not all of it unfortunately. Doesn't help that two of them were identical, which means those two may not have a correct translation.

But on the bright side we got confirmation about what some of the Hermes letters look like in cursive, which is bigger than you think. Because it's almost impossible to guess your way through cursive hermes. Trust me, I've tried for weeks.

Then there's the list of random names. What can I say? They've got some uniquely named regulars over at that library XD.

"Yoom" was a fun one, I pity whoever got named "Hdtfa". I feel like "Vili Wery" is the most normal of the random names.

I just wished they gave us a fun easter egg like with the graves, but nope. Unless I'm completely forgetting someone. Which is entirely possible because I'm awful at remembering names. But it doesn't look like it.

Anyways! Hope you enjoyed this despite the long delay!

Luckily the next two episodes didn't have as much to translate, meaning I'll hopefully be able to finish them before the end of the week!

u guys know im currently reading vol 7, im reeeeaaaallly trying to take it slow cause I know there’s not much remaining 😭 so basically my plan is to stretch it out and finish the novel completely sometime after the last donghua ep releases for maximum emotional damage

some major spoilers under cut for how this is already going for me 😃

its so tragic to be reading present-day klein (for me) almost at sequence 0, as his 5th persona identity in a line of identities, struggling w his humanity while also at the same time watching these eps of past klein where he was the most human in his life. back when he was nothing but himself, he had his family and support system, didn’t even control his expressions and emotional responses, which now he does it all the time. the experience of doing these at the same time is crazy it literally feels for me like the donghua is my klein’s flashback memory scenes to better days as he’s wandering the world alone 😭 can’t wait for how I’ll feel after the last ep and then finishing the novel after 🥲
