i cannot fucking wait to see rhaenyra being crowned.

despite everything, she gets crowned with the crown that was her father's, the one made for her great-grandfather.

she gets crowned by daemon, her blood and flesh, her uncle and husband, her sworn sword and king consort.

she gets crowned in dragonstone, in her family seat, all black volcanic rock and dragons surrounding — the closest thing the targaryens have to valyria.

she gets crowned amongst the blacks, her family, her loyal supporters, the people that will fight and die for her.

she gets crowned as queen rhaenyra targaryen, first of her name, queen of the andals, the rhoynar and the first men, lady of the seven kingdoms — the only title she is not given is 'protector of the realm' which is claimed by daemon himself.

rhaenyra claims the title of the realm — but she has always been the realm: first as princess, then as heir.

daemon claims the title of the protector of the realm — but he has always been her protector: first as uncle, then as husband.

Sooo I stopped watching Yashahime and all I can say is I’m so glad since it was getting to the point that I couldn’t even look at OG. But today out of nowhere I decided to check in and see what’s happening. I seen a couple of clips of Kagome and Inuyasha reuniting with their daughter and honestly it was so bittersweet considering they last seen her when was a baby!!! Overall, idk if I’ll go back to watching it but as of right now I’m content with just looking at spoilers lol. Anyways, I hope y’all have a great day and stay safe!!!!

Just saw a post here that there's a sessrib scene which is very the same with that flower field scene of Kagura and Sesshomaru. Wow. Very original for a "canon" ship that they have to steal from Kagura.🥴 Respect Kagura Challenge 2021!

One thing that has been bugging me ever since Yashahime came out, was how they always portray Kagome walking or being behind Inuyasha.

Like constantly.

In the anime she was always placed next to him. I’m not saying that she was never drawn behind him tho. But she mainly stayed next to him.

Maybe that’s just me, but it’s a detail that really bothers me.

I have a question, Sunrise

If THIS Rin is “””””18″”””” 

How small was she when she was 14-15-16??? Ya know, when Sesshomaru must have started courting her?? She was smaller than this?? Or did she just… stop growing at 14?? 

Then again, for her to be 18 here means she was 14 in the very first episode (ya know, that tiny child who did the “lift me up, papa” hands towards Sesshomaru), so I’m guessing she only grew a few centimeters from that before Sesshomaru went “mmm yes, child bride material!”?

This non-canon animated fanfic just never stops surprising in how gross it can get 🥴🥴

So...the routine Trashahime analysis. Let's start with the things, that I liked at this episode.

1)

Delicious 😩☠️ I literally passed out.

2) Kirinmarus story and family was explained. Never thought, that he would have a daughter. (Let's hope the mother is not a minor). It was shown, how Riku was created and Rion is just cute af.

3) Do I have to point out the Inukago moment? Yes, I have. I've been waiting for this so long. It was short, but it was worth watching this shitty show. Like Inuyasha saying his baby girl grew up warmed my heart.

So, now the things, that I didn't like.

1) another irrelevant episode, that does noting for the plot.

2) the way they draw Rin. Seriously, that's not even funny anymore, it's just sad and disgusting. Even Setsuna thinks, her "mom" looks to young. So please.

And no. I will still not accept, that people say, that she is 18.

3) the story just continues for not making sense anymore. Why would Setsuna saver her mother? She never met her and even didn't recognized her either. My mom left me, when I was one, but I would still recognize her, because that's an instinct. There is no bound between them.

4) Why would Setsuna be able to take the spell away from Rin? In the episode with the cheap copy of Medusa, she was told, to NOT part the string of fate. Why all of sudden?

5) This sequel point out Sesshomarus family, even tho, Inuyasha has always been the main character? That's just so pathetic.

6) Let's compare Rins looks to Towa and Moroha (and Moroha even looks younger than the Twins)

The family reunion would be... interesting.

7) Sunrise, it's not to late to make Kagura the mother. If you wish for Rin to be the mother...Fine. I can't do a damn thing about it, but then stop drawing Towa like Kagura and Setsuna like Byakuya. It's not even normal how much these two look like Kagura and Byakuya.

So, that's it for today.

Yep, with Riku’s origin revealed (Kirinmaru just made his horn which was cut by Inuyasha’s father take an instant form), it’s plain obvious that Sumisawa just recycled Kagura. Sumisawa is really NOT ORIGINAL AT ALL. Seriously, can’t he do anything but recycling?

So if Yashahime is an alernative timeline it must be one of the worst. Sesshomaru is a braindead groomer and pedo who is constantly ordered by Jaken and cant stand up to powerful demons and constantly endangers children. Inuyasha and Kagome' s friends and family dont even care about them or their daughter. Their child is an abused slave. Shiori's mother is dead. Kaede is either senile or a liar. Shippo is missing. And Rin well...no comment.

Trashahime writers: Perfect, nobody will suspect a thing!

Gestures to canon eighteen year olds

Miroku at the start and Sango after Naraku is defeated, and in the Final Act after three years have passed and Kagome went back to the Feudal Era to marry Inuyasha.

This is an eleven year old Rin. Kohaku is fourteen. You can not say this-

And say-

That THIS literal child was eighteen. 🤢🤢🤢

So Rin had the twins when she was 18? Cool. So that means she became pregnant probably when she was 17 and Sesshomaru became romantically interested in her when she was a child. Her giving birth at 18 literally means nothing. It’s not a “victory.” It just means Rin was a child when Sesshomaru became romantically interested in her.

Also don’t get me started on Sesshomaru somehow blaming InuYasha and Kagome for what happened. Sunrise literally took all the character development Sesshomaru got in the OG series and threw it away. And since when does Sesshomaru listen to what fucking Jaken says anyway?

Sesshomaru became worthy of Tensaiga and Bakusaiga through displaying compassion and respect. He shows neither in Yashahime, so by InuYasha lore he is no longer worthy of his swords. Get what I’m saying here? Sunrise threw the plot of the original series away and the characters along with it. Nothing about Yashahime makes sense, especially from a storytelling lens.

If anything, Yashahime is the absolute PERFECT example of how to take a classic show and ruin it beyond recognition.

The way Rin was crying and asking to be killed and saying how much she loves the twins and pedomaru but he was just standing there like a stone with no feelings like:

Bro OG Sesshoumaru almost cried when Rin died in TFA and his look full of feeling watching Kagura die is now one of his most remembered scenes and expressions. I can't believe there are people accepting this mistreatment to the characters in hny.
