FINALLY GETTING AROUND TO POSTING THIS

So I was literally rushing to get these all done the day before Omni Expo, so I didn’t have time to post them anywhereee.

These and the Sailor Moon ones were the only designs I was able to finish in time and they didn’t even print out that great orz But then again the clock was ticking and I at least had them presentable.

I’m definitely taking a break from them for a little bit, but I’ll get back to them and fiddle around with settings n such so they come out better.

Out of all of them, Krolia and Broadsword Lance were the most popular, but I think I sold at least one of each of em (except Hunk poor babu)

Ok imma go back to dying from the con while pondering what other fandoms to ruin with my art muahahahaha

BOY AM I TIRED

Woo this was quite a weekend!

This was @sageofmagic‘s, another friendo, and my first Artist’s Alley table at this year’s Omni Fandom Expo 2018. Almost all of the other artists were super friendly and welcoming, making it just a great first con vendor experience. I’ll be posting more pics of what I had, but since I was rushing so badly to get things done, my items didn’t end up quite as nicely as I was hoping. BUT that’s how we live and learn! I’ll be tweaking my current designs n such and planning for many more~! I’m hoping to actually get those Voltron charms I’ve been wanting to get done, and do more fandoms for my own trashy satisfaction~

A LOT of people asked when our next con is, and tbh we’re not really sure. We’re mainly limited to the Central Florida area (and Tampa), but the two other artists I vended with are relocating, one to a definite location, but another’s still up in the air. I know I definitely want to do more cons, but for now we’re just playing it by ear.

Salutations all, So here’s the thing… In the first week of December I was put on suspension from my job of 2+ years and just before Christmas they terminated me by phone. I had been appealing and fighting it until two weeks ago where they said they were going to uphold the termination. So I had been living for over almost a month without a job in the hopes I could get it back and payment for the 4+ weeks I was termed. Now I’m down to barely enough money for food much less all of my bills. I’m trying to find a job as much as possible, but with numerous issues flying at me from everywhere I’m struggling. So I want to try opening commissions to at least make up a portion of what I lost. I’m also in the process of making my con debut with my good friend SageOfMagic in March, but now without a job to pay for printing merch (much less food), I desperately need help covering costs. I tried to make my prices as low as I can without completely underselling. I’m also only offering headshots as that’s mostly what’s in my gallery. I’ll update this with more options as I draw and post more variety.

Inktober 2017 - Day 01

So I’m attempting to actually participate in Inktober this year... After literal years of hiding away from it lolol. Honestly I have NO IDEA if I’ll be able to stick through it, but I sure as hell will try.

This also gives me a great excuse to practice my arting again so I can get started with commissions.

I’ll post separate days here as they’re made, but I’ll put them all together on dA and FA once either October is over or I fall behind and just poot out.

This also gives me a great moment to kinda give an update after Irma and stuff. Don’t worry, it’s all hiding under a read more below.

So things are all over the place at the moment lol. But the basic gist is the house didn’t really suffer, but I checked my storage unit over the weekend and found most of my stuff, particularly my books and manga that I’ve collected over the years completely soaked and ruined. We put in a claim for it, but over everything it’s a LOT of money in damage and we still have to pay the rent for the unit that’s going up this month.

The worst part of all of this was the fact that I was looking into getting a place to move in with a couple of people closer to my current job, but the cost of the damages cut into it on top of me trying to get back to school for my Master’s. Overall, it’s around $40,000 and my family is driving me up a wall for it. Since I’m stuck working my ass off just to pay for my current expenses, I have to try to save up enough that I can pay for anything the insurance company won’t, grad school, AND living expenses for the 16 months I’ll be in school since I highly doubt I’ll be able to work AND do my Master’s.

So what does this have to do with anything? I’m trying to get back into art so I can use commissions as a way to support what I already need to pay and save up as much as possible.

I don’t feel comfortable accepting donations or anything unless I get really desperate, but the best support I can receive now is people reblogging my art and spreading it around.

I fell behind on my daily sketches due to stress from massive workload so I’ve restarted that, but I still need to post all what I got up to... Eventually... My work schedule just got more scattered so idk what’s going on anymore hahahaha;;;

Here's the next set of days~ It wasn't too bad of a set, more practice of my lil bab that still doesn't have a name lol. Mostly expression practice n shit. And Day 32 is one of them new HM bachelors because I'm weak for purple hair... orz Anyways, I'll probably wait until later tomorrow to post 36-40 so I don't spam the internet with my shite |D //rolls away
