kaia swore she is never going out of her room again yet she needs to be nourished. sometimes, the clamour of her stomach is stronger than her fear.

she was passing through the dining hall, carrying food in a tray when the clattering on table made her jump on her toe. “ yeah...yeah, sure. “ the wound isn’t that bad but kaia knows that’s all she is going to think about if she is not going to do anything about it. “ but...uhm…” she gets a tissue and attempts to put it over the wound. “ i’m...can i? “

      Aidan was used to the idea of traumatic events. It was literally what he’d been trained for his entire childhood. What he wasn’t used to was the sense of worry and dread that had filled him the second he’d seen the ominous orange glow coming from the old mill. He’d spent the previous day with Natasha in her room, but was now in the dining hall, absentmindedly twirling his black steel butterfly knife around in his hand.

      So absentmindedly, in fact, that he misses a flip and instead shallowly cuts the outer side of his palm. “Shit,” He hisses out, dropping the knife and letting it hit the table with a clatter as he inspects the wound. “It’s fine.” He reassures before the person in his peripheral can ask. “Just nicked me.” He’s more embarrassed than he is in pain, anyway.

“Yeah,” he reassured her. Things were always somewhat tense between the two, given how they broke up. Even though they talked it out, he didn’t think they’d be back to normally that easily. “Hiding? Why? From who?” His brows furrowed. He knew Kaia was always shy, but something felt off about this. “It’s safe. They caught Cecil and he’s out of the school.” Not that it meant there weren’t any other members roaming around, but Kaia seemed worried enough, he didn’t want to worry her further with his own thoughts.

there would be times that kaia would feel she was the only one who felt thid way. she couldn't simply buy into the fanstasy that they are safe. " it's...i'm...i guess, " she slouched a bit, bracing herself to tell him what she really feels. " i guess, i'm just scared. " her fear may not be misplaced but she kept brewing it in her heart. " it's not he is working along, you know. "

                     She jumps on her seat and almost drops her Nintendo Switch when Aria startles her.    “ I think I just died just a little. “    She joked, then her question got looking at her Apple Watch.   “ I---I haven’t. I haven’t realized...the time. “

“I knew I’d find you here!” Aria said, making a point to punctuate her first words as she tried to get Kaia startled. She giggled. “Have you eaten yet?” || @kaiamcrgan​

                 Kaia had been doing another exercise again. Somehow different from their lessons this semester but it was already boring her as she had been through that many times already. She was in deep concentration, biting her lower lips as her fingers danced over her keyboard. She was like that until she broke into the server as part of the exercise. She clapped her hand together in victory and looked at him.   “ I got---are you okay? Is this something wrong? “    She touches her cheek because she was pretty sure it was her face.

as they sat on his dorm room floor, studying for that week, cyrus couldn’t help but to look up to catch glances of kaia. how did her face look so different whenever she was focused? he quirked a brow in thought, now not even looking down at his books as his mind wandered off to a million different places. of course, during all of that time, he was still staring at her. and saying nothing.

giorgia loved the greenhouse. she was the kind of person who wanted hundreds of plants cluttering their home. she was the kind of person who spoke to plants, in part because it was supposed to help them grow, and in part because it was simply nice to have something to talk to. when she heard the clay pot shatter she rushed over to help, kneeling down on the ground to help pick up the pieces. “it’s okay,” she reassured. “they have other pots. she’ll be just fine.” perhaps referring to a plant as she was a little strange, but then again, so was gio.

                 “ Yeah?  Her words didn’t seem to give her some sort of assurance.    “ I know there are a lot of spare pots. I don’t know where  but it’s there right. I just...what if this plant is owned by someone else and I just ruined it for them. “    she gingerly picks the plant off the ground, gently shaking off the soil.    “ Do you think she is going to be fine? “

         “ UM, YEAH ? “   his smile widens, because it’s not like that’s a surprise.   “ kaia, you can’t just hole yourself up in your room because someone’s murdering people.  i mean, he’s not even around anymore, you don’t have to worry. “   just seeing her like this makes caden want to go back to that evening in the sublevel and kick the crap out of cecil some more.   “ you’re safe.  nothing’ll happen to you, i promise. “ 

                 “ I know. I know. “    There was really nothing to argue“ I know. I know. But hey, someone murdering people is a good reason okay. “   There was nothing really there to argue because he was caught, he was gone. She was not sure how far gone he was and Kaia honestly don’t want to know. Kaia is just living in fear now.   “ He is not around but others might? There might be a traitor living among us. I mean, we all thought he is a friend. “   She sighs and pouts to the ground.   “ But I’m a spy in training right? I should get over it? “

                “ Just say it. I look like crap. “   She gave him a weak smile to imply she was attempting to jest. With everything that went down and with how Bash seemed to be really worried, Kaia could only wonder what she looked like, probably someone who needs some vitamins from the sun.   “ I’m sorry. I’m getting you worried. “     None of his suggestion really appeals to her but she got to choose for his sake.   “ I know I do. I went to greenhouse the other day and made a whole mess. I just wanted fresh air and to smell flowers. “

            “ C’MON, YOU NEED TO LEAVE YOUR DORM. “   bash is leaning against the doorframe of kaia’s room, eyes watching her carefully, though he’s a little anxious.  he hasn’t missed the way she doesn’t seem to DO much anymore, and it hurts to see her so on edge.   “ do you want to come to the gym with me later ?   we can try another training session.  otherwise let’s take a walk or something, you look like you could use the air. “   //  @kaiamcrgan​

Levi was headed back from the gym and for some reason, not even he knew, he decided to take a longer way back to his room. It was a quiet day, everyone seemed to be minding their own business. Until he heard something break and he turned around, spotting none other than Kaia. He stood there for a split second, not really expecting to run into his ex girlfriend, especially since he barely ever saw her around. He walked over to her. “Hey, it’s fine. We’ll clean it up. No one will ever know it happen.” He rubbed the nape of his neck. “Long time, no see, huh?”

" You will help? " Kaia may or may have still avoiding him despite them clearing out the air althought it was not entirely the reason why she haven't been around lately. " Thank you. " She smiled before kneeling down to pick the broken pieces of the pot. " Uh...yeah. " She chuckles nervously, not expecting he would notice. " I may or may not be hiding. " She admits then sighs heavily, remembering how it was easy for her to tell him things. Well, expect for the reason why she broke up with him. " I mean, I'm not really fit to fend off myself against any attacks. But it seems safe nowadays, right? Like, they are laying low. "

Denis spent a lot of time at the greenhouse, either passing time with the plants, or looking after his own. When he heard, the shattering, he popped his head up, looking in Kaia’s direction. Quickly jumping to his feet, he walked over. “Don’t worry, I’ll tell whoever that belongs to, it was an accident.” He mentioned. “We should transplant it. Wanna go get a flower pot from the back?” 

" Well, yes, uhm, it was an accident. " It's not like Kaia would throw a pot out spite. " I hope they forgive me. I just wish this is not made from special clay like imagine if this is made from Himalayan mud. It's probably price of my soul. Let me check for extra pots though. " She rambles away and hugs herself before making here way to the back. " Uhm, I found some..." She reappears with a couple of plastic pots.

" Oof. " She frowns at Ruby's ill-fate when someone beat her with getting the book she wanted. " It's reay rough nowadays. " She sighs the her face lights up with an idea. " Maybe, I can score a soft copy of the book you are looking for somewhere? " She said maybe even if she could definitely score one.

“Have you seen– oh,” Ruby stated as she saw the very book she was looking for in some other student’s hands down the aisle. “Beat me to it,” she sighed, throwing a sheepish glance Kaia’s way, who happened to be near. “Guess we’re all cramming for finals, huh?”

" Me? " Kaia couldn't help but laugh but she stifled it by putting her Nintendo Switch over her mouth. Never in her lifetime she thought her presence would cause some a heart attack. Even if she was pretty sure his statement was just an exaggeration. " I'm sorry. " She apologizes before she takes a seat near him. " This seems like a pretty spot to play Animal Crossing. Have you played this before? "

“Sometimes it feels like every single one of you kids are out to give me a heart attack or something” he said as he clutched his chest, letting out a deep breath. He really thought that he was alone but it was clear that he had been mistaken. Just looking at the student, he blinked a couple of times before he finally calmed down and relaxed a little.

STARTLED BY THE clamour, Ezra finds himself immediately jumping in reaction. “ Christ, ” he breathes, visibly taken unaware by the intrusion. With his dark gaze resting on the girl, he gives a shake of his head then. “ It’s all right. I just didn’t think anyone else was here. ” After a beat, his eyebrows pull together. “ What brings you out here, anyway? ”

" I'm sorry. I'm sorry. " She put her head down and crouched to gingerly picked up the pieces of the pot that was shattered to the ground. " I'm sorry. " She repeats for probably disrupting the peace he was having. " I've...I wanted to smell some flowers? Or like just...fresh air? Yeah. "

          CADEN IS ONLY PASSING BY when he hears the sound of something breaking, and immediately tenses up and jumps into the room, ready to fight a brotherhood member.  it takes a few seconds to recognize that it’s just kaia and she’s ALONE, before his body relaxes.   “ killing plants, are you ? “   he teases, flashing the younger girl a teasing smile.   “ where have you been hiding ?   i feel like i haven’t seen you in ages. “ 

                      Kaia noticed him tensed and she immediately felt bad. It was the same for her in any other situation. With the recent events, her jumpy tendencies had been amplified.    “ What? You miss me? “    Kaia teases him to lighten up the mood.   “ Would you believe that I’ve been just staying in my room? Seems like the safest option for me to do. “

– “JESUS CHRIST!” CLAIRE EXCLAIMS, and she tenses like she’s about to go into a battle stance before realizing it’s kaia. “ loud noises like that are not good news around here, you should know, ” and she starts kicking a few of the pieces to the side and into the grass, “ if we’re quick, we can hide the evidence. your plant’s a total goner though. ” 

          Kaia took a couple of steps back, knocking another potted plant seeing Claire’s reaction. If the other was not able to hold herself back, Kaia was about to nurse a blackeye. Kaia did just like what she did and kicked back the broken pieces on the grass.   “ Okay. Rest in peace plants, I guess. “

     raina jumps slightly at the sound of the pot breaking, and she turns around to make sure the other girl is okay. she lets out a small laugh at the apology, bending down to start to clean up the pieces. “i think he’ll forgive you,” she says, referencing the plant, “as long as you give him an upgraded pot.”

               “ He...he will? “   At this point, Kaia was not sure if she was talking about the plant or the owner of the plant if it ever has one. Do plants even have gender?    “ Upgrade? “    She found herself dumbfounded at her suggestion as it was not exactly in her mind.   “ I mean, I was planning to get a same pot and pretend it didn’t happen? “

“ oh  yea ?  that’s  fine , too  sweetheart . everyone’s  different  so  no  judgement  here . ” she  took  a  sip  of  her  strawberry  smoothie . “ how  do  you  mean ? are  you  implying  the  trip  to  roseville  was  a  bad  idea  because  of  the  murders ? ”

                 Kaia gives the other a sweet smile.   “ I mean, yeah. The legacies are the target right? But everyone could still be hurt. Not say for anyone. “   For sure, the staff will do their best to protect them but at what cost.   “ But I might still go to play Pokemon Go. “
